Btw, can I just say that I'm so so so disappointed that they changed the name from MoYuan to JiuChen. Why didn't they just stick with the character's name as MoYuan? And bring Mark Chao and Yang Mi back? Ughh!! This is annoying!

But this is different. This is Chinese drama which is finite. Okay, yang mi doesn't have to make appearance cause different female interest. At least, use the same actor and don't change the name for the story.

They can't use the same character name..Since its their own spin off version..Not from the book..Copyrights comes into play!!!

How I wish it had been Mark Chao playing this character, it'd have been easier to follow (atleast for me) but it seems like the guy is a huge star so it'll be received well there

Hey did you read the book?

Watched the 1st Ep as well ... Not bad .. I think I'll like it! ... But there's a huge resemblance to Three Lives, Three world ... so gets a bit redundant! ... Even then want to see how it unfolds ... not to mention pretty sets and actors are fun to watch!

I watched few mins of 2nd Ep .. subbed only for those few mins .. There's a discipline there ... 13th disciple ... 🤣

I guess this spin-off happens before Bi Qian time ... Isn't it?! .. I wish they could have kept it all connected since then it gets confusing for Mo Yuan to have feelings for Bi Qian too! .. Oh well!

I actually liked the 1st episode and do not mind the actor change. In fact he looks the part as God of War.

Going to wait for them to be properly subbed before watching. Definitely going to give this drama a shot.

As in Ten miles took me a while to get use to and like Mark Chao, also the drama grew on me.

The thing about dramas is can not judge on 1st few episodes, as they take time to develop characters and story.
