Loved how Prerna entered the room and trying to get his attention and Bajaj knowing her by now and acting to ignore her !?😆

Then again simple moments between these two

She laughed off to herself about this hard coconut who today, failed to accept it's own sweet water.👏👍🏼

Loved it 🤗

Keep writing 🤗

Thank you very much!😳

Drabble

3) Deal With It

Prerna was nervous. It was the first time he had actually requested her to do something and she simply couldn't refuse the chivalrous gentleman.

But it was getting hectic. Managing office and Bua Maa, as they would call her. He had made it clear to her that her word would be the word of God. She had never seen him regarding someone in this manner.

But she also knew that he wouldn't like it if the work suffered for this cause. Unreasonable but true.

She was called for in the office. Clearly, she knew what was wrong. The report hadn't been prepared.

She entered the study.

"I hope aap jaanti hain ki main kya kehna chahta hoon", she told her.

She nodded.

"Dekhiyega ki aisa phir kabhi naa ho"

"Par Bua Maa..."

"Deal with it" he told her off guard and firmly. He really meant it. Bring the balance.

She walked off.

Alright, so be it. She too was made of tough metal, if not steel.

She went straight to her room, to check on her.

"Areey Prerna, where were you all day? Now come and give me a massage on the knee. It's hurting"

With a neat smile, she did as instructed. She'd been cooking, cleaning, giving massages and what not, relentlessly since a week.

But the point was, the report was still pending.

She did burn the midnight oil quite literally to finish it off and had to rush straight to office as soon as morning dawned.

Without a night's sleep and negative rest, she braced herself to face the chores all over again. But the house was unusually quiet.

"Where is Bua Maa?" She asked a house help.

"She's off to a religious yatra", Mr. Bajaj spoke.

Wow, that was a shocker.

"But...", she protested. She clearly indicated nothing about it till a day ago.

"No more questions. Focus on work now"

"Aap abhi jaayenge aur unko waapis laayenge, okay?", she said firmly.

"Who do you think you are, huh?" He asked agitated.

"Mrs. Bajaj. Like it or not, now, deal with it!", she walked off.

....

Cheers.

First of all let me talk about the second drabble's second half which I missed...So Rishabh left though he wanted to stay behind and Prerna let him go even if she wanted him to stay back..Both needed the very same thing but they just did not know how to spell it out...But as they day hearts desire always finds a way to happen...And when Prerna needed Rishabh the most he was there right by her side...How sweet...With welcoming a new life, it seemed like Prerna has opened the doors of her life to Rishabh too completely...The PreRish moments were delicate, subtle and a delight to read about...Rishabh's reaction to the bleach smell made me ROFL...Protective much already...I like it...Simply awesome! 😃

P.S. Comments On Drabble 3 Coming Up In The Next Post!

So now in drabble 3, we get an insight about a demanding Rishabh Bajaj..Demanding for sure, but not unfair...As the drabble began it seemed like that the situation for Prerna got tough and Rishabh had turned a blind eye towards her plight...But then I thought this is Rishabh Bajaj you are talking about and how can he be inconsiderate towards Prerna...He wanted her to create a balance between work and his close relative and she did just that tiring herself out...Though it was she who was tiring herself out, it was he who kept a close watch of care over her...If not that how would he know of her struggles and just the way he is, if first he tried to be a good nephew, by the end of the drabble Rishabh went out of his way to smooth things out for Prerna and turned out to be the attentive, perspective and protective husband...His actions spoke volumes of the concern for her and her parting shot of being Mrs. Bajaj asking him to deal with it, seemed like the tables have turns and we have a new bossy Bajaj on the block, Prerna Rishabh Bajaj...It was a very sweet drabble, that showcased progress in the tale of PreRish, felt in silence, spoken with words and expressed through actions..Brilliant work..Loved it!!!! ❤️
