people have died drowning in their own puke after being high/intoxicated, so conspiracy theorists like this officer do proper investigations rather than making up shit.

True. The autopsy report sounded very abrupt.

The case cannot be reopened.

There were no other witnesses either.

But everyone knows Sridevi was a health freak.

She was very conscious of her public image too.

If she was really that "high" on drugs/ alcohol...she could have died anywhere, anytime and any day when she was alone at the Dubai hotel.

The fact that she drowned only after Boney Kapoor's romantic surprise visit at her door...is what makes this strongly suspicious.

The man is unfit to climb a flight of stairs...he traveling back and forth India and Dubai just to surprise his "jaan" is crap.

He was the one who gave her the first entry ticket to Bollywood...she was his muse...in the same way, he could have easily gotten rid of his muse too....

Considering the many invasive surgical procedures (which, in my opinion, may have contributed to her death) Sri had, she was far from being healthy, though.

It is murder.

Till now, Boney Kapoor has never openly revealed to the public about the night Sridevi died. Never. He was the last one to see her alive. Of course, only he knows what happened that night.

Did she drown first then become unconscious?

Or was she unconscious first and then drowned in water?

He, at the most, only chokes in sorrow whenever the interviewers question him...thereby evading the "most asked" question.

Think about it. He has benefitted the most from her death. He has reunited with his first wife's children after so many years...finally, only after she died. Sridevi did not allow that "happy reunion" to ever happen while she was alive.

From being a bankrupt producer, he is now back in the business producing films "to honour his late wife"...minting the money...while gently tapping the bum of Urvashi in a public function...and is looking at potential younger south Indian actresses as his next muse.

Sridevi had said in one of her final interviews that it was a lifelong dream of hers to work in a film with AR Rahman. And thanks to her husband, it finally worked for her in the film "Mom", that Boney Kapoor produced. After she died, he said "Mom" was a fitting tribute to her because he wanted the audience to remember her not just as a celebrated actress, but as a mother. He fulfilled all her last wishes pretty well.

His words of tribute to his late wife on social media just days after she died just sound so...rehearsed. No man who just lost his wife in a freak accident could write so articulately.

He is going full-swing with PR to promote BOTH his girls into films, while Sridevi wanted them to be more academic.

But more than anything, there were two cases in the U.S. where the victims died of "accidental drowning". One was a famous Hollywood actress. In both cases, their husbands drowned them first...then called 911. This has happened in the past.

Is this imagination? Is this coincidence?

Or is it just plain murder?

I am crying. my queen Sridevi did not deserve this. I know this is the truth. It was not accidental.

One foot is more than deep enough to drown someone. I don’t know what this dude is talking about? I don’t know what happened to Sridevi, none of us do. Some things are suspicious but a lot of things are just conspiracy theories.

If she was drunk or worse mixed her drink with medication she could have very easily passed out in the bathtub and drowned. A couple of months before her death she was all over the tabloids for her another cosmetics procedure that had made her face look ridiculous frankly. So calling her a health freak is pushing it. Sridevi seemed like she wanted to present a certain image but probably had a lot of demons herself. I can totally believe that Boney’s immediate reaction after her death was to protect that image. Doesn’t mean he was right but if drugs were involved he wouldn’t want that to get out. Some people think he killed her. I honestly think she had some kind of an addiction and just took one too many pills and drinks, just bad combination of things.

Boney didn’t write the statement after her death just like I don’t think Jhanvi wrote her long Instagram post after her funeral. Their PR people did. So releasing an eloquent statement post tragedy is not evidence of guilt.

Jhanvi was already shooting her debut movie when her mother died. So whatever Sridevi may have wanted for her girls they themselves decided on movies. And there are plenty of stories of Sridevi herself making deals with KJo to get a role for Jhanvi.

Boney may be a douche. A cheating husband to his first wife and a bad father to his older kids. But none of this means the man is a murderer. Conspiracy theories are common after the sudden death of a celebrity. This is no exception here.

I suppose this topic will be closed very soon for its inflammatory nature, of making an allegation that cannot be proved or disproved

But yes, I do believe that Boney had an argument with Sridevi, lost his cool and in an impulse did something that took her life. Might have been accidental, but typically those who are obsessed with their muses are not very reliable husbands. It was weird that he knew about her death but did not call officials until 2-3 hours later. That to me, was the biggest red flag. No caring husband would do that. He would call the hospital authorities and do everything possible to save her life, even if it was hanging by a thread. He called a friend and used his political influence to get out of Dubai investigation being completed. (not that Dubai police are known for their thorough competence on the job either). To be honest, even that comment about how he checked in on her after 15 minutes or so to see if she was doing well, was weird. No woman especially bollywood women get ready so quickly in 15 minutes or less. And Sridevi was always put-together. Most take a good 1-3 hours at least to get fully ready (just as an aside).

Yes, Sridevi has had many cosmetic surgeries but that doesn't mean that those who had surgeries done drown in their bathtubs, that is immaterial. the only other explanation was alcoholism, but I would have expected that to happen when she was all alone in her hotel room.

That being said, it also made me sad to know how alone she really was in her final days, that even her daughters (surprisingly even Khushi was not there) and husband left her all alone in a hotel room. No friends around her, either. The girl who plays her daughter in Mom had lost her mother recently, had mentioned that Sridevi would call her frequently. and that days before her death Sridevi had called her but she had forgotten to keep in regular touch in midst of her shooting. So Sridevi was definitely feeling very sad and lonely around then. She had taken up a tv serial Malini Iyer just to get some cash flow in her husband's account. And never did feel attractive despite her good figure and looking so pretty; tells a lot about the sorry married life she must have had. Her excessive cosmetic surgeries definitely point to her low self esteem though. She had practically no family members of her own side either.

True that we never may have all facts but I have seriously doubted Boney's sincerity that he loved her since then. Obsession yes, Infatuation yes, but love and respect, a sad no.

How is she his muse? It was Jeetendra who made sridevi famous in Bollywood. Producers wanted to cast rekha for himmatwala. But jeetu was adamant on casting Sri and the rest they say is history.

Yes, you are right.

But Boney Kapoor was already watching and obsessing over Sridevi's south Indian films when he was a young man. He didn't even understand the language....but was still drooling over her.

He said in an interview that he just had to meet her in person and so he would fly to Chennai. But at the most, he could only talk to her mother. He said he flew to Switzerland during the shoot of Chandni just to get close to her. He said to win Sridevi's heart, he first had to gain her mother's trust. He also said he went to Chennai to sign up Sridevi for his home production "Mr. India". His mother asked him for 10 lakh fee (big bucks for a heroine in those days). He said he was willing to pay 11 lakh, and her mother agreed for her to do the film. "Mr India" was his fantasy version of her....especially her dancing seductively in the rain.

Despite all that, once her parents passed away, the road was very clear for him....he became her confidant....payed back some of her parents loans to others, she was vulnerable and thankful for his generosity....

All this happened while he was suppose to be a happily married man to his first wife....

Jeetandra did also say on stage a few years ago when he got the "Lifetime Achievement Award"...that he wanted to clear some rumours.

He said he was NEVER instrumental for Sridevi's and Jayapradha's Bollywood careers....or their smooth transition from south Indians films.

He said both were extremely hardworking and earned their place through their own merit.

And so, he refused to take any credit for it.

If you have nothing to hide, you can openly declare it to the world.

You are right here too.

But Sridevi had said many times that Boney wanted her to remain beautiful and slim...always.

He always wanted her to appear young and appealing to the public, despite her age.

She was health conscious, not a health freak.

But she would have been insecure in herself to keep going to the U.S. for plastic surgeries.

Also, as a woman who married a man who left his first wife for her....there is always a little anxiety if she might lose him to another woman too...

she worked very hard to keep a stable family life for the sake of her girls.

There are many celebrities that keep their children away from media.

But her daughters have been literally groomed to make it to Bollywood since they were kids. She herself was a child artiste and she said she missed out on her childhood life because of the movies. Then why would she be so keen for both her girls to get into films. Boney got them exposed to the public at a very young age, and they got addicted to the fame and attention.

Sridevi just to watch and grin and go along with it.
