It's because Pre was never CVs priority nor fav like Anu. Anu was their most loved character this season. That sindoor holding thing is to keep something to redeem him later and they don't bother to keep such things for Pre. By now everyone should have understood script was in Anurag's favor till now. I am still not getting this sindoor lagwa liya what would have made any difference agar nahi lagwa lethi tho and you think Bajaj is stupid to listen to her wishes knowing the history of their half marriages and will leave loopholes.
