Your post is quite appropriate.

When i started watching Sony 3 yrs ago for Maya Mehrotra, IB fans were like my Queen vs Yours. When Maya became Zoya, the pairing was such a hit that a ship as huge as Noah's arc ascended on IG and twitter to marry them off which lead to fd wars between solos and shippers. If everyone had diverted their attention to TV sets at home maybe shows which were popular online would have continued.

Here, no one discusses, Shaheer , Ritvik, Rhea or Kaveri because apart from Mr. Sheikh nothing much is available about them.

Supporting actors are like the earth's rotation, to get them on screen is a privilege

The other big star ie Rupal Patel also looks pretty aloof. If everyone is to each is own, fans are not going to get anything.

With regards to the parallel leads,

In YRHPK the rishtas got so twisted that in the current scenario, Ritviks reel pairing with Kaveri looks like duhhh to me, writers have washed out the chemistry between Kuhu and Kunal. They don't look like a pair with potential. Tu Ashiqui made good use of the leads ( RA previous show)

Last but not the least, it looks like Shaheer's solo fans fought some krukshetra battle for three years therefore anyone who comes to ruffle feathers are ignored. They are just a handful of them who are in la la land, so obviously discussions will be Shaheer centric and good. Not complaining as episodes are better than before ( imo)

Infact, Shaheer has got the right costars if he wants privacy at work.

The producer and channel is also thinking on the same lines. All is well, enjoy till it lasts, as good as it gets. Amen

( used past shows and characters, fans as references, no personal intent to mock other actors or fds)

I have also seen on twitter that fans are discussing abt BB, kuku and Mishti but they are few in number vs Abir's kingdom.

I think its wonderful that they all mind their own business. Shaheer has been shipped with almost every co-star of his till date and he also has a dedicated bunch of haters who bash him 24/7. So it is actually such a pleasant change that there is no shipping so far and all the discussion is only centered around Abir-Mishti. I know off screen shipping adds more buzz to the show but it is very harmful to the actors in the long run and only results in the focus shifting from the show and its characters IMO.

Rhea of course rarely uses social media and prefers staying away. Which is again amazing in this era of SNS where actors are posting updates every alternate day. She seems happy playing her part onscreen and staying away which is worth appreciation. Ritwik is active on social media but the guy only posts about himself and keeps away from controversy or anyone else's business. Also, he is very respectful while talking about Shaheer or Rupal or other senior actors. Ditto with Kaveri. She seems harmless and fun and gels with everyone. The irony here is the cast does not even follow each other on SNS and we rarely get any BTS about their offscreen camaraderie but you can tell that they get along and prefer keeping in the background.

Yes, them being more open or friendly can contribute to buzz but it never really adds any real value to the show and can result in fights in the long run. So am actually happy that a show has a small, growing and peaceful fandom for once with no offscreen discussion :)

He mentioned, serial was struggling with 1.7 to 1.9 at that time and new cast clicked, started doing so well.So his expectations might be high and may post when it reaches 2.5+ something. It's my assumption. Parental show did expectionally well and got him strong position and also it increased drastically last week to 2.5 from almost 2 months fall so definitely supports in all possible ways as his most successful venture with high returns.

Looks like Shaheer and Rhea will dance on NB so it's good start and expect more promotions like this on different platforms.

Yes. Star had given an ultimatum to RS and he had a lot of issues going on with the previous lead pair. Mohsin and Shivangi literally gave the show a new lease of life which is not easy because Akshara and Naitik were very popular among the TRP audience at one point. So it is not surprising that he is close to them.

Also, I don't think you can compare TRPs from the past with TRPs of today. After the BARC, revamp, the highest rated show has around 2.9/3.0 TRP. Back then, the highest rated shows had close to 4 or 5 TRP and the moderately successful ones had 2.5 plus. Right now the ratings have drastically reduced which makes 1.9 decent. 2.5 is tough ask right now but if the ratings gradually increase and the show manages to retain a consistent audience, it might happen in the long run. Anyway, I personally wish for the show to have decent ratings to prevent the channel from tampering with it and it has a good run for 1.5-2 years. Beyond that, every show bites the dust anyway with or without TRPs :)

Great. Shaheer should have some peace of mind. Maybe his fans kept him in their prayers.

I also think the inconsistent trps has effected the producers tempo. He is definitely expecting more than what is required. The script is weak and he cannot create another carbon copy of YRKKH. No one will see a repeat at 10 pm when a similar story is on air at 9.30. From what i infer after reading comments on IG, the writers have repeated many tracks with Naira. If RS is really interested he has to develop a story which has a balance of romance and family drama, even he limits it to 350 to 400 episodes.

Big names cannot bring in numbers if the plot gives away. Shaheer does not have blind fans or a trp audience who keep their brains out of their head while watching his show. i hope the producer and SP realises this fact, sooner the better.

Creating a buzz is upto the actors, if the show does not have any future, might as well take the crores and lakhs which form their salaries and individually promote themselves on their handles.

I had said earlier the situation in YRHPK is similar to the 3rd episode of KahanHumKahanTum ( not so drastic), after each shot everyone is back to their make up rooms..and it will remain till the show goes off air.

YRHPK has neither caught the attention of a niche trp audience who will sit in front of their TV sets nor has potential online fans. the story has the capacity to loose on pace and filler episodes can encourage audiences to skip altogether.

The main leads characters isn't butchered vs competition and that their USP.

We can agree to disagree.

Well, out of all the shows launched this year, this show opened with the highest TRPs (maybe because it is the spin off of a popular show). Post that, ratings have been inconsistent but in the past three weeks, the TRPs have been steadily increasing and it is in Top 10 now and is the slot leader since inception. I definitely wont call it a bad start since so many new shows have failed to take off in the recent past.

I dont think weak plot line has any correlation with TRPs. If so, the top shows wont be repeating the same tracks for years and still managing to top the charts. Yes, the plot of this show is simple and there are loopholes but it is definitely watchable with a well written love story at this point. I don't mind the fact that it has a feel good vibe and a simplistic plot either. Off screen, I frankly don't care what these actors do so long as they deliver on screen and we are spared of unnecessary drama.

No actor can guarantee TRPs on TV. You can bring Salman Khan and the show can still flop on TV. To sum up, I just don't think the show is bad. Its fun to watch so far and while its not topping the charts, its getting decent enough TRPs without any promotion. The online fanbase is steadily increasing with potential to grow from here. Of course all this is only an analysis of the current situation and everything can change depending on what the TRPs are in the future. So long as the show appeals to us we can watch it otherwise move on.

Yes we can definitely agree to disagree. Was nice discussing with you :)

You second my thoughts completely...glad yrhpk has plots and characters that we enjoy to discuss analyse... onscreen stuff only we have so much to discuss...there is no need for off-screen stuff

And I don't follow any of them on SNS but whatever joint interviews of them I have seen ...they seem to be a pretty normal chilled out happy bunch who enjoy their work.

Vegetarian,

aapko sashtang pranam....Lol....maine bhi nazar utaar diya..You have too much patience to explain others. But people will always have different opinions for everything. Some are more interested in Actors' personal lives,on &off screen relationships,OTT dramas n all. Some are like us who only focus on the show, talk about the characters, discuss anything related to the show . That's it.

Our show is doing well. Many exciting tracks are gonna come. I think we just sit back and enjoy the show.

Yaiiiiiii.... you are just like me....🤗

I seriously don't understand why fans have to fight with eachothers. Here actors are bonding well, maintaining a good professional relationships. But we fans have to fight for them. God give me a break.

My funda is very clear. stay away from negative comments,Leave everything here and go back to normal life after logging out from IF.

Apne life ke probs khatam nahi hote, upar se actors ke life mei kya chal raha hei kaun interested hei...😵
