Nothing is wrong with AJ. What is going to happen to him could happen to anyone. His drink gets spiked, not like he can control that. We know he didn’t do anything wrong.

A Director atleast in tv series, has least control over the story & mainly on how a scene & sequence is shot & executed.

No I would say it would be early to react about AJ's character right now. Wait till the episode is aired, we will be surprised by the scenes. Common it cannot be that bad.
