SRK unveils the Kolkata Knight Riders
Juhi Chawla and Shah Rukh Khan unveiled the stars' new IPL team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, along with captain Sourav Ganguly. Khan also unveiled the team's anthem at the ceremony in Kolkata.
Put together by Vishal and Shekhar, the team's theme song is called "Korbo, Lorbo, Jitbo" (We will do it, fight it and win it). Khan also displayed the team's jersey which will have the superstar's signature black colour with gold stripes.
"Black is the colour of goddess Kali (a symbol of Kolkata) and we aim for gold," Shah Rukh Khan said to the media.
But while SRK gets ready for his Kolkata Knight Riders, Paris on the other hand is getting ready for a wax statue to be displayed at the Grevin Museum in France next month. However, what is more surprising is that Khan's statue won't be cloaked in Khan's favourite colour – black.
"The museum officials don't want it to look just like the one in Madame Tussauds. They are going for a much more casual look. So sadly for many SRK won't be wearing his signature black colour," says the source.
This will make Shah Rukh the second Indian celebrity after Mahatma Gandhi to have a wax statue in Grevin and the first Bollywood star to have two wax statues in the two most prestigious wax museums worldwide.
However, with the series to kick off soon it is not yet clear whether Khan will attend the unveiling of his statue.
