A request to KSG -DT NT Pg 21 - Page 9

Many people have this problem, I mentioned in other post that he is asked to "Mutter" his dialogues, when you do that your voice is low and BG music is too high for his voice, if he starts opening his mouth, it will ruin the effect of this character for me, because this is how I picture Mr. Bajaj in my head, you can tell the difference in his scenes when he is asked to show emotions when he was angry at his staff and when he is speaking to Anurag trying to control his emotions. Anurag's dialogues are clear because his voice is loud, though I never had problem understanding Mr. Bajaj's dialogues.

Another post on KSG'S acting but bear with me.

I have waited long enough I think. I started watching bits and pieces of this show since KSG entered. Mostly because Bajaj is a genuinely interesting character and out of curiosity. I liked KSG in the first episode but I have been increasingly disappointed since. It's like I can individually see the elements that make him a good actor but it's not collectively coming together. There are these fleeting moments where I can just about capture it. But they dissolve just as easily. For instance, this bit in the episode last night, he says, "shaadi nahi hui aab tak?" and slightly shakes his head. I instantly got a glimpse of what he can be. But then, it falls apart for whatever reason. His entire attitude is wrong. When the attitude is right, the voice is wrong, when the voice is right, the facial movements are too much. There's something rotten in the state of Denmark.

I waited till his scene with Prerna to post my final impressions. I am sorry but I found no spark between them in the precap. There's absolutely no chemistry and it's mostly because of KSG's disinterested acting. I hate to say this but he's ruining the character and the potential chemistry. I never thought I'd say these words about KSG of all people. Whatever my issues with him, I have always enjoyed watching him on-screen. But this time, I am just not feeling him. I am not sure if he has regressed as an actor (which would be tragic) or if it's the show but something is very clearly off.

This is honestly a disappointing situation for me because IMO, KSG at his peak is better than 90% of the actors on Indian television. So it definitely saddens me to see him not performing to his level. He really needs to go back to the basics. Start again. Choose something simple to practice craft. This show puts him on the spot and he is not ready for it.

Yes. Why wouldn't it be serious? People have different perspectives etc.

Given his legacy , the experience and the hype he carries He should have been bang on since episode one .

I always believe no matter how bad the script is if actor is able to find a meat in it and represent it in such a way that people instantly connect then he is THE GENIUS one , this was something I expected from him given his talent n exp..... because honestly KZK script sucks since day 1 and it will go down the drain going forward 😆.

But I’ll still give him some time only because I like him as an actor .... he is feeling pressure and hence overdoing thins .

KARAN SINGH GROVER IS THE BEST ACTOR EVER. HIS EXPRESSIONS ARE ALWAYS AMAZING.

i request you all get over him, if you don't like him.

I’m feeling like you & me both are watching different show then. Because whatever u said I feel exact the opposite after watching Karan Onscreen 🤔

This got merged so I'm replying here.

I am done giving him time. I am starting to think he should be replaced. I don't see him getting better at all in this role. Probably if they give the character a complete personality makeover. Again, this is my opinion which I am allowed to post on a public forum.

It's not even the script. I have a feeling he wouldn't have been good even if the script was better. He is just not grasping the nuances of the character and is either doing too much or too little. This doesn't mean I think he is suddenly a bad actor before anyone attacks. As I said, I can still see those glimpses of potential brilliance. But something is off with him right now and this character/this show was the wrong decision.
