I like the way you think. Mishti being forced to stay away from Abir Abir being angry about it and Mishti pining for him will be so so so good, but the makers have a habit of surprising us all the time. So let's see how they show mishti's realisation. It has started and the next few weeks are going to be pure bliss!

Angst if done well can be amazing to watch. It should be logical and not the result of some ridiculous misunderstanding/sacrifice. And when it happens before confession when you are not too sure about the other person's feelings, its even better. So I don't really mind an angsty track where they are forced to stay away for a while due to external reasons provided it makes sense and both the characters are not butchered in the process 😆

I am a huge fan of angst too, and like EtTuBrutus says it should stem from circumstances and characters - not some random-ass OTTness for the sake of drama.

And frankly, I do not trust ITV with angst - the characters just get butchered.

i was counting the episodes. Mishti ak realization mere bday pe na sahi ek-2 episode aage peeche ko fall kar sakta hai

but chemical nature bhi hai. you cant be happy or sad for long duration.. emotions should keep changing

You mean after 27 episodes? Thats more than a month 😆 Anyway I really like their friendship phase. Am probably in the minority but am not waiting for the confession with bated breath. I like this slow burn realization where the couple are confused about their feelings and they are neither here nor there. So I don't really mind if Mishti has a very slow realization where she is confused, in denial, battling her feelings, then there is angst because of logical circumstances and she finally cannot stop herself and gives in. But this is Indian TV so I don't really trust the writers 🤣
