Shahid had a bad phase from 2009 to 2014 and that is when this 100 crore fever started too.

You can say what you want but Shahid has delivered.

IMO its more commendable to rise from a bad phase than make it big with good work

You can also say what you want 😆 He is not consistent that's the fact. Let's wait for his next movie to decide. If he delivers again i will believe his stardom until then not buying it. I have some telughu friends and i have seen their craze for original movie & Vijay Devrakonda so yeah all the hype came from there plus music plus youth appeal, kissing scenes vulgar comedy. Not denying Shahid is a good actor but he doesn't have box office pull. Delivering with a trash like Baaghi 2 is called stardom..Tiger is the only current young actor with actual stardom

I have appreciated Kabir Singh & the entire team. But too many posts/threads on how Shahid surpassing other stars. It looked funny when he was compared to Ranveer. Now with Salman too, it is going overboard.

Stardom not just depends on the what their hit movie made. How much does the star’s flop film can make? That is their minimum guarantee. Salman’s Tubelight or Sharukh’s Zero collected around 80 crores.

What is the minimum guarantee of all these current stars? Ranveer is there since 8 years. But I would call him a star only post BM. Afterwards, what was his minimum? How much did Befikre collect? Compare it with Shahid’s minimum (in his prime period, whenever it started). Similarly when do you consider RK’s stardom started? What is the minimum collection of his movie since then? Have a fair comparison of all young stars including Varun.

I thought Kabir Singh was the first A rated movie to collect 20 crore on first day. Someone corrected me. John Abraham’s movie made similar collection last year. Does that mean he is bigger star than Hritik?

Shahid is a great actor. He does not need to be compared with Salman’s star power. He is better actor than Salman. That is sufficient.

And a few hits dont make you star either lol......Tiger may have a some solid hits but the guy cannot act and is the most one-note actor we have at the moment.
