Me too. I think mine was one of the first replies on this thread. But yeah, we are a minority.
Stalking and clingy behaviour has been an age old “romantic” trope in our fictions, don’t you think? I will keep pestering you until you give in - how romantic. Not!
Don’t get me wrong, JanRuv had potential; a broken woman hell-bent on revenge gets married to the son of her nemesis, only to find herself in a dilemma as the son is a good guy who she can’t bring herself to hurt. A little less cheap shayaris and man-handling, and a little more genuine conversations, my attitute towards JanRuv might have been different*.
*My first preference is and always will be no romance for Jahnvi.

U wanted Dhruv to manhandle Jhanvi. I think he is shown as a very soft spoken guy. I liked his caring attitude when he yelled at everyone when Jhanvi got shot.
I also liked that he didn't blindly believe in his wife a couple of times. He questioned her when she vanished few times. I cannot call him a doormat also. More than him PK,dadaji hv blind belief over Jhanvi.
You know what i actually want someone for janhvi/pooja though she is capable enough for herself but at the same time she cannot rely on amma or ishani as she could not share her worries or fear them we witnessed it manohar track so she needs someone who can take care of her as well as understand and take a stand for her. . . And after today's episode it can be anyone kabir or dhruv i dont mind till they are convincing in terms of emotions

It could've been great with minor alterations in Dhruv. Trust me, I would've loved to see JanRuv anyday, had Dhruv been a little more alert and aware about Jhanvi, not trust her that blindly, not be that cheesy and managed to complete shayris. Okay that's a LOT of change 🤣

Exactly!!!
His soft spoken gentleman ways make me feel he was perfect for Jhanvi. He even doubted her at times. Installed location services. And Jhanvi too was slowly getting there in the romantic slot. But ever since they decided the revamp, they've started ignoring Dhruv.
JanRuv moments :
1. Completing the shayri
2. The trust scene, she was visibly moved when he spoke
3. Her being jealous of his mentioning someone else's beautiful eyes (that was cute!)
4. The small dance of theirs, she was affected.

Where did he trust her blindly? He was tracing her location for sometime and the person who blindly trusts Jhanvi is PK.He didn't believe her 2 or 3 times. He caught her red-handed during Manohar track. U are saying he isn't alert

Yes he did follow her and stuff but sometimes he did trust her blindly. Like whatever bs reason Jhanvi would give, he would say a yes. And believe her. Like that Ishani thing?
Ok fine he didn't trust her that much 😆

I guess man-handling is too harsh a term, huh? I didn’t think it through, sorry. Maybe I should amend it to non-consensual touches 😊, but I will leave the post as is, because others including you have already quoted it.
I don’t have a problem with Dhruv, unless they bring up some twist in the story, he is supposed to be a good guy. But there are so many blanks where his relationship with Jahnvi is concerned, that coupled with his overt cheesiness puts me off. Most probably the show (the original concept) wanted the viewers to see it the way you explained, but I cannot. I think we will just have to agree to disagree on it.
