In spite of the blockbuster status accorded to his last release Sanju, Ranbir Kapoor has not gone on a signing spree. This is not only a voluntary choice—as Ranbir is never known to go on a movie-signing spree—but also because he has taken on two back-to-back projects which are taking more time than normal . Much more time.

We are talking about Ayan Mukerjee’s Bramhastra and Karan Malhotra’s Shamshera . While the first is an ambitious sprawling sci-fi epic featuring Ranbir with Amitabh Bachchan and ,ahem, Alia Bhatt for the first time, Shamshera is a dacoit drama in the grand tradition of the classic dacoit dramas like Mujhe Jeene Do and Mera Gaon Mera Desh.

Both require an inordinate number of days from Ranbir . But now its seems Bhamhastra requires even more time,thereby eating into the dates that were allotted to Shamshera.

So here’s the deal.

According to sources Bhamhastra producer Karan Johar went over to his close friend mentor Aditya Chopra, the producer of Shamshera requesting for additional dates,

Says a source in the know, “Ranbir’s dates for Shamshera were supposed to start after the completion of Bramhastra. But it seems Ayan requires more of Ranbir’s dates .Karan requested Adi for more time and Adi complied. Shamshera will now be completed in 2021.”

This means Ranbir only release in two years will be Bramhastra which is scheduled to release in December 2020.

How much reshooting is happening? 🤔

Dec 2020 means 2.5 years later. SKJ hain though so no point believing him. KJO might put out a statement soon enough.

Aisa lag raha hai Bramaster ki shooting 10 saal se chal rahi hai... movie 6 hrs ki hai Kya? 🤣

Anyways, why the hell would KJo release both Takht and Bramaster in the same month?

I doubt this is true because of Alia’s schedule. Where does Sadak 2, RRR and Inshallah suppose to fit?

Ronit Roy said recently that Shamshera begins shooting again in July and suppose to be completed in October. I expect Shamshera to get delayed because it suppose to clash with RRR

Even I'm skeptical to believe the rumour because the source is SKJ.But they did call off the Varanasi shoot on the pretext of Aloo getting sick.

Kjo does clarify the rumours about his movies getting shelved, postponed lets see.

Aloo is simultaneously shooting for Sadak 2 and Brahmastra na? When does RRR, Insha Allah shooting start?

Aloo usually juggles 2-3 movies at the same time. She shot for Brahmasta and Gully Boy at the same time.

Inshallah suppose to start as soon as Dabangg 3 is completed. Salman said sometime in July

Wow...I remember she was shooting for Kalank and GB with Brahmastra on the side. Both Kalank and GB released months ago.....

I guess Brahmastra might end up taking longer than Jagga at this rate in terms of shoot schedule.
