I don’t understand how did Anand and Preeti settle for this Rishta for her.

Looks wise also Shubham was ordinary and such orthodox family

What was the plus that they found here is I fail to understand.

I really feel bad for Preeti where she is just running around meeting demands and and has to suppress all her wishes for movie or a dinner outside too.

I know it is the 90’s but Anand was progressive. So choosing a family for his daughter when he knew how chulbuli the daughter is I feel preeti’s Sasural was no match for her.

Anyway this was my opinion. And I just wanted to rant it out and no better place than this.

I hope u guys understand what I’m feeling.

Coz since the beginning Preeti is one character whom I adore the most. Even more than Naina and Sameer.

She is the most selfless I feel.

IK! It really hurts to see chulbuli Preeti in this chindi fam but I don't thunk Preeti's saas would hv been her real self infront if Anand before Preeti and Shubham's marriage. You know that oversweetness just so that the alliance doesn't break. And Preeti was too excited about Mumbai so she's chosen this for herself

The Sari clad with 24 hrs Pallu clad is just so not Preeti. Even Pooja doesn't seem to be in such a conservative marriage. Her being brought to Mumbai just to expedite Samaina Mumbai track seems injustice onto the Preeti character to me

And it's not even about just looks or conservativeness of the family. Shubham seems slightly Sanki to me, like the way he includes economics in everything. He isn't even supporting Preeti for pursuing her career objective, plus I didn't like how he looked at Saiba. I have a doubt if he even loves Preeti

@bold I think that was just a comic scene added to show how everyone is in aww of Sahiba's beauty.

About Shubham being sanki, Preeti knows very well how to handle him. Sooner or later, he'll hv to allow her for the parlour course. Otherwise, she'll disturb all his economics.

Even if it was just for comedy they didn't need to show Shubham involved. Jatinji and others could have been enough.

I didn't like him. But that's my personal view. It's not about chemistry or anything but I never felt there is any love between Preeti Shubham something which was apparent in Bela Anand or even Poonam Bhabhi n Bhaiyya.

She too deserved to be shown hw she got married,

As u said to expedite The mumbai track they quickly wrapped up her wedding with just a letter shown by her.

And u r right they showed how Preeti herself said yes to the wedding. But why is my question. And not even Pooja didi family is not like this.

Supporting her for her career I would give the benefit of doubt to the 90’s era that people didn’t look forward to girls working after marriage.

And yes there is zero chemistry between Preeti and Shubham. The economics shown by him is no longer funny but it’s getting irritating now.

We cannot just give it a pass by saying she chose this for herself.

My main problem is with the CVs. They could have thought of something better. Given her a proper track.

Anyway just ranting out we can’t really do anything.

Initially fans did react n express their sadness, but you would've noticed how many Preeti haters are there in the fam, so discussions (which did happen, I had seen few posts about that) only resulted in bashing.

Preeti's marriage, I feel, couldn't be showm bcz there was nothing spevefic going on in SamAina's life at that time. The boutique thing couldn't be stretched more to show Preeti's marriage alongside. Even Munna's marriage wasn't shown for the same reason.

And, most importantly, even if we express dissapointment about Preeti's sasural, the discussion eventually comes to the point that Preeti willingly agreed to marry.

I understand, we cannot really do anything.
