I am not sure. maybe Saheefa became pregnant out of wedlock. Affan offers her a shelter, and Saboor becomes thier daughter.

It depends on the direction and the execution to make it a hit. like Do Bol which had a very typical story yet it did wonders.

do bol had exciting promos from the beginning...everyone was looking forward to it...plus the leads chemistry was apparent in it
