Well articulated. Would like to add that she took pride knowing how much she mattered to him and she equally reveled in his possessiveness for her. This reminds me of that not sharing the tie with his own son Tushar as it was gifted by Prerna. It was cute🤣
Yeah I remember the Sharad track, the above link is the scene which you referred to, Apki Prerna apke saath hain. I remember, after ages, we got the reunion and it was worth it. It was just flawless. The way Prerna keeps insisting on him, she shows her right and understands what her man needs at the time. She hugged him and was just not ready to loosen her grip till RB gave in. It was magical. This was my favorite scene in that leap. The way she said while tearing the band-aid pati ptni ka rishta itna kamzor nahin hota, ki zari si thes lagi aur toot gaya, it was again symbolic. The maturity in their relation, she didn't say Ï told you so", or never reprimanded him for the slap or anything. But just understood his pain more than anything and was keen to comfort him.
And this was a very big difference between how she reacted with Anu vs RB. When it came to Anurag, she kept blaming him, I told you so, it was your mistake, etc, etc. But with RB she never did that even if it was his fault at times. They always showed maturity under all circumstances and even Anurag knew that. He even told that to Prerna during PRB 2nd marriage when Madhvi tried to play spoilsport. Prerna was always so different when she was with Anurag inititally when she was just P Basu or P Sharma and quite different when she was P Bajaj. Kudos to ST for switching between the roles so smoothly. For e.g, in my previous post, during cancer track, in Panchmeshar when she was all praises for RB, she had been acting like P Bajaj but instantly there is a moment when she switches to the P Sharma mode. Her voice modulation and acting are subtle changes if observed carefully. She talked and reacted in a very different way with AB and quite different with RB.
Anurag was the guy who came in her life when nobody else was there and she was young, but RB was the man of her life and she chose him over Anurag always. In fact, Sneha says at one point in time (when she knows the truth about her paternity) that she wondered how her mom could choose someone like AB while RB was there.
There is another time when Prerna rather than blaming RB for his faults, just says that she understands he must have hurt himself more than hurting her. It was that serene moment in Panchmeshwar when PRB finally reunited for good and they both made truce after Anurag death track.

The tie scene was shown as a flashback and it was cute. RB disliked like the idea of sharing his wife's love with anyone. He agreed only when Prerna insisted. Are you sure? was too cute.

Even an actual memory loss wouldn't have been able to change that. 😆
In their reunion scene post the closure of the Sharad track, we could behold how strong their relationship is. You explained it so beautifully! The differences between those two relationships is so obvious. RB meant the world to her...she never treated anyone the way she loved and revered him.
There are some more scenes I loved in that despicable track. That cute flashback scene at a restaurant where Prerna ordered tea for RB...it showed she cares for the smallest of details.
Another awesome scene was when Mohini insulted Prerna by not inviting her to the pooja and RB refused to attend it without her. Prerna was overwhelmed with emotions and wanted to hug him but he sensed it and gestured her to stop as the differences were still there. I felt so bad for her. She kept longing for him even as they slept with their backs facing each other.
RB used to cease all physical contacts when they used to have differences. 😆
