Another scene with Prerna defending, choosing and praising RB,

Does anyone recall how RB was not able to say the word 'todna' in the dialogue. He actually opened his mouth to say the word but was not able to utter it and yet his mind forced him to say it coz of his love for Sneha. That was acting par excellence. It was so heartfelt.

And then when Prerna removed the ring from her fingers the way he braced himself as it was his life slipping away from his fingers.

I liked Prerna's reaction a lot...she never expected RB to break off the relationship. And then the way she removed the ring and at the end wore it again saying meine yeh anguthi Sneha ke liye pehni thi, Lekin ab mein apne liye pehnungi. It was so symbolic as that marked the love for RB from Prerna's side. Till then she just appreciated him for his support and all. From this point onwards she started to actually fall in love with the man.

Btw, this was the first time I think RR was shown with open neck and without the tie and everyone were gaga over it.

This look was repeated I guess during AB death and being alive track, when RR goes to the store room to look at Prerna's portraits. Another epic scene by RR. Again dialogues were just awesome!

Dimag kehta hai is rishta Ko anjaam do, Abhi isi wakht, par Dil kehta hai sari umr jis pyar ka intezar kiya....

When RB wanted to break the alliance, Prerna was stuck by the gravity of the looming loss and refused to take off the ring. This marked a new dawn in their relationship. This time she wanted to remain in the relationship for them both.

You mentioned one of my most favourite monologues. RR's acting was phenomenal. It's impossible to remain unaffected by the pain that emerges in this scene.

Kyun inn tooti-phooti yaadon ko sanjo kar rakha hai maine jo apne bareek kinaron se baar-baar mujhe chot pahunchati rehti hai.

Ek mann ko toh maarna hoga.

The transition from the raging conviction in "Mann toh kehta hai iss kahaani ko anjaam de doon, abhi, isi waqt" to the admission of powerlessness in actually doing it in "Lekin kaise Madhavi...apne parivaar ko main apne hi haathon se khatam kaise kar doon" was flawless.

The open collar look was a rare sight to behold...no wonder everyone went gaga over it.

Even the very last dialogue was so heartfelt...I almost weep when I listen to it now.

"Jab bhi yeh dhoop aapko jhulsayegi, main thandi chhaon bann ke aa jaungi, aapke liye" 💔

This was yes indeed a proof that even after her death she was still living in her PRB world happily the way she used to during Gurukul track when she believed RB to be dead. Somehow I thought the reunion of AnuPre souls was to give a full circle to the start of serial and for their fans only.

You remember the dialogues to perfection.Wow!!! In the monologue yeah the transmission you mentioned was just awesome...I remember the hand slicing moment and the immediate tenderness the next moment in his eyes.

Another one of my favourite scenes: RR in white suit and aqua shirt at his company guest house. Rishabh Bajaj! Ro Raha hain, arey mein kaise to sakta hoon. Roti to tum ho.....his hand gestures while saying his name were too good. And Prerna realises his pain and grief. By then she was in love with him and couldn't bear this reaction of her RB whom she had taken for granted till then. I also like the fact that during this Anurag is alive again track, Prerna kept looking at her watch and was constantly keen to get back home while she was plotting with Anu and Debo. While Anu wanted her to stay back but she cooly walked away once the work was done. She was totally out of Anu and into RB whole heartedly.

Another one in the last leap, RB acts that he doesn't recognise Prerna after meeting her at the mandap and she is complaining to her mom that Mr. Bajaj ne mujhe nahin pehchana, apni Prerna Ko nahin pehchana! She was so taken aback as she knew his whole existence was Prerna and yet he failed to recognise her. She never could accept that as that thought was more troubling for her than the happy fact that he was alive😆

Glad for hotstar. It's a treat to watch these scenes and still can't have enough of it.

And many thanks for liking my thoughts on PRB. I can go on and on.😊 I doubt there has ever been a relationship this real and sacred on TV ever. Lots of other serials have strong relationships portrayed to perfection by great artists but still PRB remains on another level. Their fan following to this date remains proof enough.

Also, just wondering whether this is the right forum to discuss S1 or should I be using the old KZK forum?

That scene with RB in white suit and aqua shirt is one of my favourites too. Actually, all the scenes that form a part of that 2004 track are masterpieces in their own right. There's not a single dull moment in the track that brought PRB to the centre. That drunk monologue highlighted by Kahan thi Prerna, kahin nahin thi Prerna lamenting her absence during the most trying times showed him pouring his heart out. Again, phenomenal performance by RR. ❤️

Mr Bajaj's coldness and borderline heartlessness towards Prerna was necessary to make her realize his importance in her life. In her own words, she had taken him for granted. The intensity of her guilt and deep longing to be back in his life was well expressed. He had become her heartbeat, her life!

Regarding that scene post the second generation leap, I loved when she said Woh apni Prerna ko bhool gaye. That reminds me of a scene way before that leap in which she had told him Aapki Prerna aapke saath hai Mr Bajaj. The latter was aired post Sharad's conviction. That stress upon Aapki Prerna and Apni Prerna reflects a deep sense of belonging possessed by her psyche. She knew how much she mattered to him.

Even I can go on and on when it comes to quality discussion concerning PRB. I haven't been an ardent viewer of daily soaps, but it's pretty much evident that most love stories have that same ancient, overused plot with recycled romantic scenes. PRB are different...and I love them for those differences. There hasn't been a more beautiful love saga on ITV.

This is the right place to discuss PRB as the old forum is locked. Newbies have certain limitations. Don't worry about the clubbing part as I'm not getting confused. Be patient, you will soon be promoted to higher ranks and those limitations will disappear. 👍🏼

This was one of the most natural scenes of PRB where you actually cannot make out whether it was acted or a real life moment captured.

Well articulated. Would like to add that she took pride knowing how much she mattered to him and she equally reveled in his possessiveness for her. This reminds me of that not sharing the tie with his own son Tushar as it was gifted by Prerna. It was cute🤣

Yeah I remember the Sharad track, the above link is the scene which you referred to, Apki Prerna apke saath hain. I remember, after ages, we got the reunion and it was worth it. It was just flawless. The way Prerna keeps insisting on him, she shows her right and understands what her man needs at the time. She hugged him and was just not ready to loosen her grip till RB gave in. It was magical. This was my favorite scene in that leap. The way she said while tearing the band-aid pati ptni ka rishta itna kamzor nahin hota, ki zari si thes lagi aur toot gaya, it was again symbolic. The maturity in their relation, she didn't say Ï told you so", or never reprimanded him for the slap or anything. But just understood his pain more than anything and was keen to comfort him.

And this was a very big difference between how she reacted with Anu vs RB. When it came to Anurag, she kept blaming him, I told you so, it was your mistake, etc, etc. But with RB she never did that even if it was his fault at times. They always showed maturity under all circumstances and even Anurag knew that. He even told that to Prerna during PRB 2nd marriage when Madhvi tried to play spoilsport. Prerna was always so different when she was with Anurag inititally when she was just P Basu or P Sharma and quite different when she was P Bajaj. Kudos to ST for switching between the roles so smoothly. For e.g, in my previous post, during cancer track, in Panchmeshar when she was all praises for RB, she had been acting like P Bajaj but instantly there is a moment when she switches to the P Sharma mode. Her voice modulation and acting are subtle changes if observed carefully. She talked and reacted in a very different way with AB and quite different with RB.

Anurag was the guy who came in her life when nobody else was there and she was young, but RB was the man of her life and she chose him over Anurag always. In fact, Sneha says at one point in time (when she knows the truth about her paternity) that she wondered how her mom could choose someone like AB while RB was there.

There is another time when Prerna rather than blaming RB for his faults, just says that she understands he must have hurt himself more than hurting her. It was that serene moment in Panchmeshwar when PRB finally reunited for good and they both made truce after Anurag death track.

That was sad scene yet beautiful. Prerna *Aapke liye* she was incomplete without him even after death. 👏
