Something very beautiful abt these songsđ
^ Jeene ke ishare â¤ď¸
Meri zindagi mai teri baarish kya hui,
Mere raaste dariya bane behne lage,
Meri karwato ko, tune aake kyu chua,
Kai khwab neendo ki galli, rehne lage.
What a beautiful beautiful song.

I heard the Phir Chidhi raat behind for the first time. It has such an easy breezy feel to it.
I want some recommendations. Is there an album preferably from 90s,early 2000s or older that is as brilliant and as musically rich as Taal. Could be any Indian language,my tastes are not bound to simply Hindi music. North, west, east, south. Any album that is as complete as Taal. The closest I feel was Roja, Bombay, Dil se and Saawariya. Do recommend me more.

Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam
Saathiya
Yuva
Delhi 6
Kabhi has, Kabhi Naa
Khamoshi
Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna
Are a few names that I can think of at the top of my head which I love. Will update if I remember more. With 90's there are a horde of songs which are lovely to listen to. I'm not sure if they are musically rich, but they have soul. I think so that's because it plays with the nostalgia factor. I'm not sure of the entire albums being as good as a few songs...but ya.
You should check out the indie pop songs of 90's and early 2000's as well.
Lucky Ali, Adnan Sami (Tera chehra), Palash Sen to name a few.
And if period is not much of concern, then a truly wholesome album I have come across in recent times is Laila Majnu. Beautiful beautiful songs.
Edit - This is a very difficult question though. Because there are so maaaaannnnyyy good songs (at least for me), that listing them all out will be hell lot tedious.

Aah. I absolutely love all the albums you mentioned. From start to finish they are splendid esp HDDCS,Saathiya and Delhi 6. Not a single miss. I loved the indie age too. I have played Adnan on my walkman the most. Those were the days! Euphoria was amazing too. Piya Basanti is an absolute favourite of mine. I really miss the musicality of that age.
Recently I've liked the Kedarnath and Laila Majnu albums even though I feel they don't completely follow the classic 'telling a story through the album' part which 90s excelled at. I think Rockstar was the last one who did it right. Told a story through the album.
Am sorry for making this so difficult hehe but list your top 10 to me. Top ten songs musically rich to you. Could be from the south as well. I wonder if AR Rahman has better albums done south which am missing out on đ

Koi Fariyaad/ Teri Faryad (Old and new)
O hum dum
Hum Dil de chuke Sanam
Jhonka Hawaa ka aaj bhi...fuk! â¤ď¸
Aye Hairate Aashiqui
Entire Lootera Album
Phir le aaya Dil
Laal ishq
Ikk Kudi (Diljeet Dosanj)
Awaara pan banjaraapan
....to name a very very few. I did go a bit beyond 10 but it's just fair. I haven't even posted the oldies over here. If you want to check some beautiful 70's or 80's ones check a few pages back.
I don't know if they are musically rich or not, but these are some of the infinite number of songs that I love which manage to touch my heart and soul each and everytime I listen to them.
Btw speaking of indie pop, have you heard this?

That's a great list. I feel Kavita Krishnamurthy doesn't get her due. Such a soulstirring voice. And yes this song was a MTV staple I believe!
To your indie I raise you this romantic bop
