Epilogue

Sharma house is bustling with people. Most of them were their relatives. Small children were running here and there. The older one were catching up with others whom they met after long time. Mehek's father was telling the decorator to do hurry up as in the evening there will be a sangeet ceremony in their home. Mehek was running from one end to other end in sharma house to help her mother to offer pleasantries to the guest.

Mehek was feeling tired. While she was expecting to get pampered but all she is doing is running here and there to know whether their relatives are settling comfortably. She couldn't believe she had to do this much work whereas her sister nehal is no where to find when it is the time to help their mom. Mehek leaned against the kitchen counter drinking a glass of lemonade.

" Di, you are here and i am looking for you in the whole house" , Nehal burged in the kitchen in haste.

" where are you, when mom is looking for help to serve this.. and as you were not being found i have to do all these in your place", Mehek made a face.

Nehal made a puppy dog face " sorry di.. i was busy and i really really need your help.. i couldn't find that pink jhumka of yours... it will really go with my today's outfit... so please find it for me".

Mehek rolled her eyes at her sister's antic. Nehal is like this from her childhood..always trying to dodge her responsibility and as the family's youngest child, they spoiled her by pampering ." ok i am going to search for it but you have to stick here to help mom, she is going crazy in attempt to please everyone .", Mehek gave strict order to Nehal.

Mehek headed towards her room. She carefully sat on the bed and started searching for the jhumka in her bed side drawer. She finally found it in one of the drawer and kept it on side table. While closing the drawer a certain book caught her attention. She carefully took it out and put it on her bed. Her hand gently caressed the writing on the cover of the book. There it was beautifully encrypted in golden letter " Shaurya weds Mehek ". Its their wedding album. Mehek couldn't believe how time had flown so quickly. It has been almost two years since they got married. It's like that it was yesterday when she confess her love to Shaurya on his birthday party night. After her confession, Shaurya didn't waste any time to send marriage proposal to her parents. To shaurya's dismay they got married after 6 months . Mehek chuckled thinking about that time. How shaurya was being desperate to marry her within a month. It took lot of her energy to make him agree to delay the wedding 6 months.

Mehek was looking through the album reminiscing the most memorable event of her life. A sweet smile adoring her lips. Mehek suddenly giggled to see a photo of dancing Shaurya in their sangeet. He had performed to the song "mujhse shaadi karoge" and he danced really funny and got a title of "utaole dulha" that is "desperate groom" from her PD.

She turn over the page as another picture caught her attention where shaurya was tying the mangal sutra on her neck. Mehek blushed remembering the event. While Shaurya was tying the mangal sutra , mehek whispered in his ear " now you may kiss the bride" but she never thought he would really attempt to kiss her in front of all their relatives.

Mehek was too much engrossed in her thought that she didn't hear the click of the door. Suddenly two hands encircled her waist from behind and whispered in her ear " hello jaan". Mehek gasped " Shaurya, when did you come".

" some moments ago when you were missing me and seeing our wedding photo", shaurya said this between his sweet torture to mehek's neck. Mehek couldn't control a moan.

" how is my baby doing ", shaurya caressed mehek's slightly big stomach. Mehek is six months pregnant.

" baby is angry with papa as papa couldn't make it to mamu's tilak ceremony", mehek said with a pout as she sat facing Shaurya.

Shaurya sat on his knee and kissed her stomach " papa is really sorry ". Mehek slowly caressed his hair. Shaurya has been out of town for 7 days. A year before he left the job and has started his own game developing company. Some investors show interest to invest in his company and for this purpose he has to go out of delhi.

Shaurya sat beside mehek . mehek rested her head on his shoulder. She missed shaurya. " how has the meeting gone", mehek asked.

" the investors were so much impressed with the presentation that they didn't want to waste time and signed the contract as soon as possible. Thats why i have to stay two extra days to ready the paper", shaurya said excitedly.

Mehek pecked him on his cheek " congratulations hubby"

Shaurya pouted " you think i would be satisfied with just a peck on my cheek..never". Shaurya smiled wickedly and pulled mehek on his lap to give her a long kiss. A knock at the door broke their passionate encounter. Mehek stood up and went to the door to find nehal standing there. Nehal peeked over mehek's shoulder " hello jiju, bhai is looking for you. I think he is going through nervous breakdown and need your help", giggled nehal .

Shaurya stood up " looks like saalein sahab( brother in law)is having wedding jitters, gotta go", saying this shaurya kissed mehek's temple and headed towards Shravan's room.

Sonal was standing in front of her full length mirror , looking at her image. She is ready for her sangeet but she is feeling something is missing . Suddenly her face lit up to see her best friend standing at the door. She turned and frowned " Mehek , you now got time to come.. i was waiting for you like forever. You have promised me that you you will attend the wedding as my best friend not as your brother's sister".

"Ya ya i know and that's why i am here .. i am late cz...."

Sonal cut her in mid sentence " jiju is back right?... now i figured the reason for your late", sonal shook her head smiling at which mehek blushed.

Sonal sat in front of her dresser again looking at her image with frown " Mehek i think something is missing "..

Mehek stood behind sonal to see what her friend is talking. Then she took a bindi and put it on sonal's temple " now everything is perfect ".. sonal smiled at mehek.

" i am glad that you and bhai are finally getting married. If bhai didn't see me and Shaurya together on his birthday party, may be you two didn't get into fight and has already been married. I feel so guilty for it", mehek said to sonal.

Sonal sat beside mehek " don't feel guilty. Everything happened for a better reason. We two were taking our relationship too fast. Because of that fight we have seen many ups and downs in our relationship which made our relationship more stronger and we are now more mature to deal our problems ". Sonal smiled.

After sonal and Shravan's fight that night, Shravan went after sonal but Sonal requested for some time and accepted the job in Mumbai and went there. Shravan didn't give up and waited for her with patience. Then during mehek and shaurya's marriage their love blossom again but they decided to take it slow this time and 4 months before they finally decided its time to seal the deal when Sonal was back in delhi.

The wedding went well. Mehrya enjoyed it to the fullest with their family. Shaurya stick beside mehek all the time whispering naughty things in her ear and making her blush.

After 3 month,

Mehek was feeling so light while sleeping. Suddenly she woke up cause of some noise. She look around the room and a smile crept on her face. There in the crib their one day old baby boy is awoke and throwing his tiny hands and legs in the air and his papa is peacefully sleeping on the sofa of the hospital room. She stood up and moved towards the crib to see what her baby boy is doing.

"You are awake", shaurya asked groggyly and came towards them.

Shaurya put his hand around mehek's shoulder and began to watch their son shaheer playing. Mehek rested her head on shaurya's chest.

"Now to complete the set we need a daughter ", shaurya said thoughtfully.

Mehek elbowed him on his rib " Shaurya!!! Its not even one day i go through delivery pain and you are again started planning to put me there already "..mehek shook his head but a smile is there on her lips.

Mehek again rested her head on Shaurya's chest watching their baby boy. She is feeling content and top of the world at that moment having two of the most important man in her life beside her.
