Because the two sacrifices were played out differently. Anurag was trying hard to make her see that naveen is a criminal but she believed only the proofs in the end . It took months...Anurags sacrifice was more convincing , i mean he made it look more convincing and prerna believed him . There was no way prerna could know that he is lying , unless she tried to find out ..but she didnt even suspect . We need not compare the 2 sacrifices as both were ..u know what 😆

I am not at all talking about how it played.. I am only referring to the mere sacrifice and the reason for the sacrifice that's all.. The first one got rejected outright while the second got it's justification from the beginning even before they started executing them..

Anu got his Oedipal scene with his mother (gross). I think a scene was necessary between them but the one we got was bad bcos it ignored prerna and reinforced what Komolika said Mohini is all about “onu onu onu”. I could also here hjna’s whiny voice when I was watching the scene.

We got a nice scene of Nivedita. Again another essential scene. She needed to realise she wa seeing unfair to prerna. I don’t mind if we don’t get an apology form her to prerna but just a change of attitude.

So what didn’t we get? A discussion between prerna and the Sharmas about komos role jn rajesh death and how prerna actions were triggered by her need to get Rajesh’s killer.

And to my main issue with the episode. And I say main because this serial is all about the eternal love story right? Where is the scene between anurag and prerna. I don’t need to repeat everything anurag has done that he need to explain and apologise for. Some of you are angry with prerna for not demanding an explanation. Yes she should demand it. But why does anurag not want to give it? What sort of hero is he?

Few episodes ago we had an anurag who was hiding in the bathroom from komo and wiping her red footsteps off the floor.... and now he’s all Pulitzer Prize wining journalist! Are we supposed to forget he ever end though that phase? Will we start getting star plus ads again about his greatness?

When they have the next award ceremony and he get nominated do best pati, they should play the engagement scene!
