Poor Maan. Feel for him. Akhil keeps appearing and messing around. And I'm so glad he has found Geet who is simple and genuine. Waiting for her to realise her feelings for him.

Part 38

Maan became strict, ordered her and shouted at her to stop all this

Sis became more rebellious

Akhil ne bhi thodi tilli laga di ki tum bachchi nhai ho; tum jaanti ho kya theek hai kya galat

It happened that she was on a drive with Akhil just having the big fight with Maan and Akhil was drunk and she drove him to distraction

They got into an accident

Akhil was soon was conscious

He looked at her and assumed that she was dead when she wasn't

He was a coward

He got out walked a while, then took the first taxi and ran away

Didn't inform any one

Sis was there in the mangled car bleeding inching towards death with each heartbeat

But she didn't die

The sis becomes paralyzed from waist down from that day

Maan was furious

He wanted to rip Akhil limb to limb

Then Gramps gave him some advice about how he had made the wrong decision of disowning his daughter in anger and how Maan shouldn't do the same and gave him some professional counseling too

It took Maan some 2 months to get out of murderous rage

Another few to calm down and not grow into a fit when he saw his sister or thought about Akhil

And then the rest of the 4 years to plan

Meanwhile in these 4 years

Akhil never told anyone what had happened that day

He said he was elsewhere and the sis was useless to him anyways, who would want to be with a paralyzed girl even if she was the richest girl out there

Almost a few months later after sis's accident he met Antara

He met he dated and this time fell in love

He had been love for 4 years

But Geet never knew about Akhil being involved with Maan's sis in abroad as she was in India and also the sis was bit spoiled toh jab usse pehli baar pata chala about the slave called Geet

She immediately reprimanded Akhil and told him she would never talk to him if he indulged in slavery any more

So Akhil was very carefully to hide things about Geet form sis and vice versa

But Maan had done his full research before coming for Akhil

He knew he had a dog called Geet... he had felt cold pity for her... nothing more...but it all changed after he met her

And now he was seeing another life getting destroyed yet again by Akhil's bloodline

Maan comes back to reality and looks at Geet who was lost in her own thoughts

He feels like an ass for being so harsh with her...

He isn't someone to advise people on how to feel when he feels so miserably

He walks up to her and wipes her tears and cups her cheeks looking really sincere and sorry

M-I am sorry. I shouldn't have judged you like that

Geet blinks...like a doll...she never expected Maan will come back and hold her cheek oh so lightly

M-You have your feelings and your own way of dealing with it. I shouldn't...

Her lips were slightly aaprt with aww

M-But I wish that...you weren't so sad...even if you laugh at times...you don't really forget being sad

Geet is looking into his eyes trying to find...how this man she met few days ago; knows so much about her, can read her as she is an open book that Akhil failed to even grasp a letter of...this man just read her feelings as if he had known her for years

Maan pulls her in a close hug

Geet is totally stunned and stumped but her heart knows that it finds an unexplainable peace when she in his arms

M-Just...let me do what I can to make you happy and not stop me every inch of the way

She slowly closes her eyes...to drift in the feeling

He holds her close feeling a sort of peace he had never really felt in his life ever; like he can stop for a moment and take a breath, take a break, a pause

Her arms slowly wriggle to his back and hold him
