Part 33

Next morning ishita was first one to wake , she opened her eyes and looked at Raman ,she smiled on his sight , as usual like any other day of her life ,that's when she realised that this is not the usual day of her life but many things had changed from yesterday . She recalled every incident from last day and a lone tear escaped from her eyes . Not because she was sad but because she was sad as well as angry. And more than sad she was angry to him , she looked at him and wondered that why he is here when yesterday he was totally mad at her and was speaking every sort of stupid things about her . Her heart got filled with anger, she immediately get out from his hold and moved towards the washroom while he was still sleeping . Ishita completed her morning chores between little nausea and morning sickness then she moved towards kitchen and started making morning tea as usual . After a while toshiji to showed up in kitchen for making morning tea but got bit surprised seeing ishita already there and asked " arey ishita puttar tu yahaan ,I thought you were sleeping. "

I- why did you thought that ,isn't this my daily routine .

T- ofcourse it is but I thought you will be resting. Waise how are you feeling puttar .

I- I m good mummyji .

T- I m so sorry puttar for Raman's behaviour , he didn't meant those words actually . He was not ready for this responsibility that's why...

I- you don't need to apologize for him mummyji .

T- why not ,he is my son and somewhere I m also at fault for his behaviour.

I- mummyji please ,I don't want to talk about this ,jo hona tha ho gaya .

T- puttar if you can forgive him, he was guilty about his behaviour .

I- may be he is guilty but I cannot forgive him that easily mummyji ,he has gone too far this time . Unhe mera baby nahi chahiye ,koi baat nahi ,I m capable for my baby .

T- but puttar , if you are mother ,he is father too ..

I- no it's my baby only , Raman will be this baby's father only on papers .

T- why are you talking like this ishita ...

I- because I m actually hurt with his behaviour ,I did everything which was possible for me to bring him back from his depression. Besides knowing that he don't love me, I married him for his sake,I lived in a love less life for months. Just few months back we got together and now when I needed him most by my side , he just shrugged me away mocking about my financial status .Was it my fault that I was not from a well to do family. He never expressed his love for me ,brought his late girlfriend between us and still want me to think that he loves me . Bolo mummyji main kahaan galat hoon .

T- I m not saying puttar that you are wrong or he is right just saying that he was also not at peace after your argument.

I- let him be like that mummyji ,har baar main hi kyun pareshaan hoon ,let him be restless this time ,rabbi unko zinda logo ki value samajh aayegi.

She found herself in tears till she completed her sentence. Ishita passed the cup of tea to toshiji ,she took her and Mr bhallas tea and was hoing towards her room when ishita said " mummyji I m here in this house because of you and papa ji ,I won't like if you force me to talk to Raman then I will forced to leave this house and go somewhere else".

Toshiji turned and saw ishita , she was not looking happy listening to this when ishita said " I m not rude but trying to live with a bit of self respect. I hope you understand me".

Toshiji nodded and went to her room while ishita started preparing for breakfast . Soon toshiji too returned and spoke " puttar you go and rest I m preparing breakfast ".

I- no mummyji I m ok.

T- but puttar you should not stress yourself .

I- I m good mummyji, aap chinta na karo ,I will take good care of myself .

T- ok as you say .

Saying so they started working while talking , soon Mr bhalla and Raman too showed up in the hall . Raman asked for his tea ,usually ishita was the one who serves him tea but today one of the help gave him his tea . He looked at the help then took the tea ,he then peeped a little to see ishita as when he has come there they were talking but now everyone was all silent. Non talked much till he was sitting there ,even his parents too don't talked anything to him. He didn't spoke anything and went to his room to get ready for office while ishita too left the kitchen to get ready. Though toshiji said that she need not to go to office rather she should rest in house but ishita didn't listened.

After a while all settled in breakfast table to have their breakfast ,toshiji gave a glass full of milk to ishita and told her to have it . She made a dirty face and spoke " mummyji ,I can't have this much milk, that to in morning ."

T- you have to complete it ,you know you need more nutrition and energy, you have to eat healthy foods . I had packed some dry fruits and juices along with your lunch ,you have it in between regular intervals and don't stress ...

She was yet to complete when Raman asked " where is she going ".

T- to office .

R- office ,why? No you are not coming to office rather resting in home .

I- mummyji we already had talked over it ,I can't explain same thing again and again .

T- she has assured me that she will take care of herself .

R- but ma she is pregnant, how can she come to office and work ? You know she threw up everything last night and was looking too weak and pale .

I- mummyji inform someone that I m good and can go to office .

T- puttar ..

R- not needed i had ears too . Ma ahe is being adamant but aap to samajhdaar ho na ,can't you make her understand.

T- it's ok puttar , small work are allowed waise bhi you will be there na ,can't you take a little care of your wife .

R- that I will ...

Before Raman can complete himself ishita got up from her place and spoke " mummyji ,I m enough for myself ,no need to plead someone else ".

She then looked at Mr bhalla and spoke"papaji, can you give me lift till office ."

Mr bhalla looked at Raman as usually ishra go together to office , but today she is asking him . Raman didn't spoke anything just got up and went to his room .Toshiji looked at Raman then ishita, her eyes welled up seeing both of them going into two different rooms ,she looked at Mr bhalla and spoke " let them fight enough , then they will be ok . Aap apne puttar par jyada taras na khaao, let him woo his wife ."

Ishita entered the room and started crying , though she was behave rude and strong in front of him but actually she was not liking her attitude towards him . She was still crying but then recalled about his words and spoke " ishita have you lost it ,why are you wasting your tears for him, he don't care a damn for you . No he cares for me , he even told me to stay and rest in house, he does care of me , but what about those words, he was angry with me for getting pregnant which technically not my mistake ".

She was crying and having an argument with in herself ,one part of her was angry and upset with him while other part was convincing her that he love and cares for her . On the other hand, Raman was all gloomy, he was cursing himself for his behaviour though he was still debating in himself to be happy or upset with baby news . Later both ishra reached their office ,Raman in his car while ishita with his father in law . As Mr bhalla goes office after Raman ,today ishita too reaches after him . Ishita went to kitchen and made coffee for him which was always a part of her job and she knows very well that those they are not in talking terms ,he will be waiting for coffee made by her . Soon she was done with making coffee ,she poured it in his cup and walked to his cabin ,she opened the door of cabin and saw some work was going on there . She there then walked to him ,she placed his coffee and was going when Raman got up from his place and said " come sit here ".

She looked at him confusingly when he made her sit in his chair and spoke " I m settling your table here in my cabin ".

Ishita immediately gave back " why ?".

R- because I want you to be in front of me .

I- I m not baby ,I can take care of myself .

R- yup you are ,you are my baby and going to have my baby ,so I will be taking care of you .

Ishita glared at him ,while he settled beside her and spoke "I know ishita I was a jerk yesterday , I never thought about it ,it was so sudden , I didn't know how to behave and ended up being rude to you . I won't say that I m ready and happy now but trying to register the changes in my life .I agree my words were wrong but my reaction was not that wrong , it was so sudden for me ."

I(ignoring his words )- I m not feeling good let me go out .

R- (concerned)- what happened to you ,should I call the doctor .

I- that's not needed, I had already taken my medicine , you tell me my work ,so that I can leave .

R- ohh so you are ignoring me . It's ok, no I don't have any work for you ,just sit in front of me .

I- I can't sit idle like this for whole day .

R- you don't have any choice either ,I m your boss and you have to obey me . So it's my order, I want to admire you ,so sit in that chair, till your table is settled here in my cabin .

He completed himself giving a smirk to ishita while she could help herself and sat in front of him .
