Part 55

I am glad that Geet is determined now, to be independent, to discover herself, to expand her own limits by coming out of her comfort zone, and to not get scared of being alone or in crowd.

and what best way it could be than a walk in solitude, as a wanderer to explore her own self along with all paths unknown, listen to the nature, experience the journey and the people in that journey !!

and I liked the family reaction to this, they are protective about Geet, but everyone has their own reaction to suit their characters, and ultimately they agreed to her thoughts.

Sameera, she is retro scoping all her bonds, relations and feelings, and unknowingly all the thoughts are moving towards Adeel. Good that her conscience is aware that she is taking advantage of the situation and the baby to get back the love from Maan, hurting an innocent Geet in the process.

Dadi noticed the changes in Maan, when it comes to handling the business, he is more determined, determined to prove himself, determined to keep the promise and expectations from Geet, turning more responsible towards his family and business..
Dadi herself in guilt for her harshness towards Maan..
so everything happening for good except Sameer who has some dangerous plans set ahead to harm Khuranas.

Part 56

I was quick to say that the family agreed..but picture abhi baaki hai..😆
they were shocked with her outburst, but they listened to what she was saying, some guilt was there, they did what all they could think was good for her, scared for the danger to her life. It was more of an emotional and extra-protective decision that time, and now understanding that this is time to change and they agreed to abide to what she was asking or wanted to do..

and then there starts her journey of new explorations..that must be much thrilling experience..of fear, of curiosity, the joy of knowing new things, of being carefree and in the vicinity of nature.

Maan is being much impatient, his emotions has come out very well..the distance and no contact to her was killing him.

I would say, Meera should have told it to Vicky..there is no harm in talking about a doubt even if it may be some foolish feeling..it is like taking a precaution by letting the people around you know about it..but then she did not, thinking not to bother him in his busy time around the deal.

Part 56

(for Adeel Part)

that was really shocking.

his father destroyed himself and his family by obsessively going behind attaining the love from his mother, but stooping low in an attempt to turn it from unrequited to true one. He not only laid a path of destruction for himself and his wife, but put Adeel through all this in his teenage years.

he loved her, but it is the conscience that should play a part to let the love take one through the good and bad paths in life, and his father chose the bad one.

the truth is shattering, but in the end it taught a lesson to Adeel as well, it forced him to retrospect his own views towards the fascination or the love for Geet. This was much needed, that will help him move away from the path of destruction like his father had done.

Part 57

The inner struggle of Adeel has come very well..He is a powerful man, he knows how to use it to get the things done in the business, but this time he knew, it is not the power or force that can get him the love, by doing so he will only choose the same path and fate of his father whom he hated for his entire life.

on the other side, Sameera, who was used to being neglected could not take that she was being ignored by Adeel, oh no..:( did she start drinking again, I do not know what to say..the baby was her hope and helped her coming out of the alcoholic addiction, now her state of mind did not care about the harm she may put her baby into..it was like her own emotions taken over the control of her heart. I hope the baby is fine and no harms reaches to him/her and Sameera soon gets control over her emotions, let Adeel return back soon, only he can make her out of this depression.

Chapter 65: Finding an end to a curse

Geet sat on a stool watching the beeping of the heart monitor, the wavy lines were in sync with Vicky's heaving chest. He was covered in red scratches, blue bruises and yellow scabs. There wasn't an inch that wasn't free of some kind of defect, the doctors had said he was lucky to be alive and the mere thought made Geet's heart panic. He was her first connection at the Khuranna family and the very reason she managed to stay at the residence without breaking apart.

'Vicky I'm sorry I wasn't there for you' she apologised solemnly touching his hand that was attached to a number of tubes. Vicky was put to sleep to ease the pain and allow some rest, the only silver lining was that there was no brain damage as first suspected, however only after waking up, will the effects of the concussion be determined. All in all, Vicky though extremely hurt was still blessed with a properly functioning body especially with the harsh accident.

'Vicky please be ok?' she requested patting his hand as tear eased down her face and fell onto his hand, his facial muscles flinched but his body remained paralysed.

'Geet I think I should drop you home?' Maan tested sliding his hands down her shoulder in comfort. Prior to entering the room, he had stilled hearing her cry unsure what to do. Today had been a physically and mentally exhausting day, and his little woman looked to have reached the tethers end.

'It's ok' she said despite closing her eyes and resting her head against the railing on the patient bed

'Right come on' he pushed against her refusal and then forced her out the door

'Ok at least let me say my good byes to Vicky and Meera' she requested with a soft smile seeing an adamant Maan

'Hmm' with that he walked her to the next room which Meera was occupying

'Bye Meera' she whispered stoking her hair in soft rubs, Maan too said his byes to a sleeping Meera, who had awoken and insisted on seeing Vicky but after Seema's persuasion and a few medication, she fell asleep. Meera was extremely weak, making the situation worse were the blood clots however it was thinned out using Apixaban. If all goes well, then Meera might be discharged within a week or two.

'Where's Seema?' Geet asked as they existed the highly secured private ward of the hospital, it consisted of 5 rooms; two of which Vicky and Meera Khuranna occupied and the 3rd by Sameera, so naturally the already top secured ward was even more protected by the guards both the men hired.

'I sent her home, she needs rest and with Dadi there she'll get that' he informed just as they walked out into the cold dark night, it was the wee hours in the morning: 3am, and the chilly wind crawled along Geet's unwelcoming back.

'Maan it's too cold' she complained wrapping her arms tightly around herself, dressed in a simple Salwar Kameez gifted by her Darji, a parting gift he called it.

'Hmm' he answered taking off his jacket and dropped it over her shoulder, he then pulled out her dupatta and draped it around her head, making sure to cover her ears, once happy he enfolded his arms around her and walked towards his car, with her smiling at his care and following obediently.

'Warmer?' he asked rubbing her hands between his, the car heater was set to the max yet the cold bit through making her chattering teeth double. So otherwise than the howling winds outside, Geet's chatters took over forcing Maan to take the next step, next she found herself sitting on his lap next his lips, very close to her moving mouth. Ouch Geet' he complained when she bit hard onto his lips instead of hers, Sorry sorry sorry' she repeated looking at the bleeding lip however that didn't falter his next move, instead he leapt forward and dived into her mouth pushing her soft body against the dash board. Calm, alarming and warm; his hands went around her midriff and hers moved to his waist. It was the sudden sound of the horn that jumped them out of their moment of passion, the steamed window stood as witnesses to the heat generated.

'Too warm now' he teased as Geet rolled her side window down, her cheeks immediately warmed and the car started off for home. The rest of the ride was silent but comforting. Once they reached the Khuranna Mansion, Maan was the first to step out and turn to his wife, opening the door he pulled her out and walked side by side into the eerie silent house.

'Maan dadima?' she looked uncertain stopping a length before her bedroom, her hands holding onto his elbow thereby halting his steps towards his room.

'I'll tell her in the morning before I leave to the hospital' he informed without turning around

'Wait for me, I'll come!' she ordered making him smile, but yet he didn't turn rather nodded his head and walked in the darkness to his room. The want to be with her ran too deep hence he adopted this measure, not looking at her will keep his revolve strong. Only after she heard his bedroom door close, had she entered hers switching on the lights. The bedroom felt warm and used, there sitting at the corner of her sofa was his T-shirt making her smile; it seemed like he missed her as much as she did.

'Ohhh' she froze midway of entering into her warm bed, her famine smell mixed with his masculine scent, creating their very own unity. Just then another thought entered her system, if only she could share her bed with him like they did in Hoshyarpur, waking up in his arms was dream she didn't know she dreamt of.

TICK TOCK TICK TOCK

'Right Geet sleep' she reiterated forcing her eyes close once again but it seemed her mind was wide awake, the incidences within the day were enough to charge her mind but it seemed the heart was reliving their moment in the car once again making her blush the deepest red. It was the silent steps that finally ended the little torment, holding her breath she heard a very faint knock and then the steps retreating, followed by the steps again and this time two knocks. It seemed to continue, whoever it was they were highly unsure of their action, somewhere she knew who it could be. When the clock struck 4am, she had no chose put to pull open the door freezing Maan whose fisted hand was an inch away from her nose. His eyes wide open, and his mouth twitching in discomfort. His other arm held tightly onto the pillow he was carrying.

'Maan' he heard her ask and he looked down at his cute wife who suddenly turned on the heat. Her freshly showered hair framed the heated face, the slightly wet ends stuck like beads on an ornament. But it was what she wore that robbed him of his sense, she stood there wearing his large T-shirt, the same shirt which he wore last night. With it reaching just above her knees and resting flimsily on her, making it too difficult to look away; she was a siren.

'Geet what are you wearing?' he questioned once sense prevailed, immediately closing the door as if scared of someone seeing his wife like that.

'Erm I ...I' she struggled for words seeing how he ran a frustrated hand through his hair, staring at her nor ogling at her. She was both unconformable and excited, a feeling so confusing. She herself was unsure, his gaze was enough to bare her speechless and enthuse a thousand butterflies.

'Geet get into bed' he demanded turning around and she followed not liking the tension at all, only after she was covered modestly had he turned around and stepped closer to the door stopping with her, 'Did you want something?', clutching onto his pillow he nodded a no and continued to reach for the door knob, however stopped once again and turned her way, 'Can I sleep here with you?' he asked instead, seeing her shy node he moved closer and she edged to the other end giving him space to lay beside her. It didn't take him another second, he threw his pillow on the bed and rolled beside taking her hands and placing a 'Thank you' against the back of her hand. She shied moving closer and asked 'Did you sleep here while I was away?', once again he nodded 'I missed you' with that she pushed forward and placed a delicate kiss to his cheek 'I missed you too'.

Sleep wasn't coming, the emotions generated made it impossible to call it a night even if the clock read 4:25 and the early birds chirped.

'Maan' she called turning to face him

'Hmm' he answered still staring at the ceiling, he felt her hands brush across his hands and rest on his waist making it all the more impossible to ignore the female beside, the same female who was called his wife and he loved, loved extremely.

'Are you hurt by what I said?' she asked watching his face conform in confusion

'At the hospital to Sameera' she clarified moving a little closer, so now her head rested in the hallow of his neck and he unwilling wrapped an arm underneath her and pushed her even closer by the waist

'Why should I be? Don't I deserve this?' he asked still looking at the ceiling, it was his way of controlling his emotions

'I love you Maan but I don't think I can trust you fully with my heart yet' she supposed against the skin of his neck, as if peppering several requests making him weaker by the second.

'For now let's just love one another, and then one day maybe I'd be able to win over your trust' he said moving a little away when her innocent torture became unbearable. So now, his face was a little away and her head was on her pillow, their hands however still around each other. But, he pushed to the side and faced her with a smile when he felt her still in his arms. It was obvious that Geet disliked the distance he created.

'Can you kiss me Maan?' her eyes grew small with the bold request

'How about you kiss me, it can be my step towards gaining your trust' he replied instead stroking her cheek softly as she grew wary and startled.

'Geet we are husband and wife. So that means I'm all yours, you can do anything that you want without seeking permission for small nuances like this' he smirked rolling her body above his, she felt his hand on her back pushing her closer and her eyes dilated in want.

'Geet just a little leap, I promise' he pledged in wait, she waited for a minute below lowing her lips to his and lay still trying to remember his actions, she then rubbed and deepened the kiss slowly, very much still an amateur however that little action as enough to tell him that she trusted him enough to take control, so the next second she lay beneath him and he strengthened both his hold and his kiss on her. This was his little woman, his wife, the love of his life.

'I love you so so so much Geet' he whispered against her shying ears falling to his side, he then pulled her closer so now her head rested on his chest and her legs sprawled over him.

'Good night Maan' she wished before closing her eyes

'Sweet dreams darling' his hands still clutched around her waist and a soft smile plastered against both their faces as smooth sleep finally lulled them to a dreamland, and about time too with the clock ticking past 4:50am.
