Part 32

Ishita was still looking at Raman while he went out of the room with his stuff . He was still arranging his things when the help came to call him for dinner ,he nodded and went to dinning area . He noticed only his parents were there and asked instantly " where is ishita ?".

T- she is having her dinner in room as she is unwell .

Raman nodded and was about to eat when Mr bhalla said " Raman come to my room after dinner ".

R- humm .

That's when the help returns from ishiras room with her dinner and informed" mummyji ,bhabhi had returned the food saying she is not feeling good ".

Before toshiji could say anything Raman got up from his place and took the food from the helps hand and walked to ishita's room . He entered the room only to saw ishita sitting on the bed ,folding her legs . He settled in front of her and said " ishira have your food ".

She raised her eyes ,looked at him and spoke " no I don't feel like having food ".

R- then also you have to eat some .

She glared him and spoke mockingly " why are you even bothered about a middle class girl ".

R- don't pretend as if you didn't gave me back . Have food ,then you will have more energy to fight .

I- I told na ,I m not feeling like eating .

R- then also you have to eat , hope I don't have to explain that ,you are carrying a baby in you so you need to eat .

I- no need to pretend as if you care .

R- I don't believe in pretending but doing ,now don't talk much.

Saying so he stuffed a morsel in her mouth when she opened her mouth to answer him . She gave him a deadly glare while he keep stuffing her mouth before she even complete the previous one . She had her half food then denied saying ,she will puke everything if she will have one more bite . Raman gave her medicine and a glass of water he stood there till she had it ,then left instructing her to rest . Her eyes got teary noticing him leaving but said anything ,after that he had his food and went to his parents room.

He knocked the door and entered ,Mr bhalla told him to sit and said " Raman how are you going to explain your todays action . How can you behave so insanely to your pregnant wife . How can you mock your wife about her status and how can you be so different for your own child ? I mean how can you behave like this after learning that you are going to be a father , you know I was happiest when your mother informed me that she is expecting . "

Raman looked at his mother and father then said " I just can say that, the news was so sudden that I reacted that way, as I m not yet ready for this responsibility. I didn't mocked ishita about her class rather it just slipped from my mouth . I can't be happy like you as I had planned this after some years, so I need sometimes to prepare myself and why are you only questioning me ,ok I was not good but your daughter in law was also not less . She gave me back very nicely , she doubted my loyalty . I mean is it necessary to " I love you " ," I love you " everytime ,can't she understand that I love her from my actions. Aapne ma ko kitni baar I love you bola hai bolo ".

He asked his father making his parents surprised . Mr bhalla's voice trailed in his mouth for sometimes ,he looked at toshiji who too was lost somewhere, seems she was recalling about Mr bhallas confession . That's when Mr bhalla said " what's there to say ,she knows very well that I love her alot ."

R- but still you should tell it .

Mr bhalla - a man and wife don't need some words to explain their love ,it reflects on their actions.

R- so ,can't that be in my case.

Mr bhalla - ofcourse it can be but puttar if you considering our life. there is a slight difference between us ,no other woman was there in our story but shagun was there between you two .

Raman got silent listening to his father while he said "you shouldn't had talked to ishita like that".

R- I don't say I was right, I realised my mistake but she too was not silent anytime ,how can she even think of leaving house ,she don't need me for my kid . Bolo.

Mr bhalla - well I think that you should talk and sort it out .

R- that I will do but not now ,me too is very much hurt with her sharp words .

Mr bhalla smiled listening to him and spoke " don't take much time ".

R- humm .

Saying so he went out from the room ,Mr bhalla saw toshiji and spoke " toshiji I think we shouldn't involve ourself in them,they are mature enough to handle it ."

Raman came out of his parents room and was going towards his room ,thinking something when he banged with ishita ,he held her immediately and asked "ishita I told you to rest, where are you going at this time ".

I- I wanted water but it was not in the room so I was going to get that .

R- you can call some help .

I- yeah ,but I thought ...

R- you go I m bringing .

He said ,taking the bottle from her hands. She nodded and went back to her room , he showed up after a while , placed the bottle in table beside the bed and went from there . Ishita again didn't said anything just looked at his retreating figure. Raman went to his room and thought to do some work ,he opened his laptop and tried to work but his mind went to the happenings of the day.He recalled how excited he was about his trip ,he had arranged everything but everything changed with a news . The news which was a happy news but it brought a lot of difference between him and ishita . He recalled their huge ugly fight and realised also that he was wrong in shouting over ishita for that.But it has already happened and he can't change it ,moreover he too was mad at ishita.Though she must be hurt because of his outburst but atleast he has realised his mistake while seems ishita was yet to realise that may be her words had also hurt him .Raman called and cancelled all his bookings as they were not going anywhere .

He then went near the window and stood there, finding him stressed he urged to smoke , he searched for cigarettes but didn't find any ,so he thought to have some drinks . He looked for alcohol and realised that he left his bottles in his room only . He thought to get it from the room but then thought that ishita may not like this , recalling about ishita he dropped the idea of smoking and drinking as she don't like him doing that . He thought to sleep but it was far from his eyes , finally he thought to check ishita , may he he can catch some sleep after that . Thinking so he went to their room ,but found it empty, he got surprised thinking where she may go . Mentally he scolded her for being careless and roaming in house at this late hour and was going to check her when he listened her voice from washroom . He looked towards it and find the door opened . He can see her coughing sound from inside ,he didn't wasted any time and went to check her ,only to find her standing ,leaning on the wash bowl and washing her face after throwing up everything which he had fed her. She was looking very much tired and warn out , and was walking slowly holding the walls ,he immediately went and supported her . She looked at him and even tried to push him but his hold was firm ,so she stopped struggling and let him do needful. He took her to bed and settled her there , covered her fully ,closed her eyes with his hand and got up to go when realised that she was holding his hand . He tried to free his hand but she held it more firmly ,he looked at her she was still closing her eyes . Raman got confused with ishita's behaviour ,one side she was not letting him go and other side she was not even looking at him . Before something more happens ishita felt nausea again and ran to washroom ,this time he too went with her . She tried a lot but couldn't throw anything though she was feeling like ,as nothing was there in her tummy . She coughed for much time then washed herself ,Raman brought her to bed again . He made her lay on bed and settled beside her ,she too hided herself in him getting his warmth . He looked at her for sometimes then wrapped his arms around her and soon both drifted to sleep .
