Dev and Naina are not going to be villain or vamp..In fact I don't have any bad character in this story.It's arom com so i want you all to smile only while reading it😳

2. First Beat

It was a debate competition in the college...

And the topic was-

Who is the more worthy of our love and trust? ..Best Friend or Girl/Boy Friend?

Most of the contestants said that they would chose their GF/BF over their their Best friend

Some said that they trusted friendship but love could be happened with Girl/Boy friend only

Then Maan put forward his Point of view on Friendship and Love

Maan started his debate

"Pyaar dosti hai..Dosti hi pyaar hai.. Dono ek hi sikke ke do pahlu hain.. Dono hi hamaare liye bahut khaas hain''

And Geet was surprised to hear that..

Maan continued " Phir bhi dono me farak hai...Agar ek ladka mera best friend hai to best friend aur Girlfriend ko compare nahin kar sakte.Lekin..agar ek ladki meri best friend hai to hum ye compare kar sakte hain..ye ho sakta hai ki meri best friend meri girl friend ban jaaye kyunki mujhe uske bare me sab pata hai..lekin main ye yakeen ke saath nahin kah sakta ki meri girl friend meri sabse achhi dost ban sakti hai ya nahin..mujhe hamesha uske rooth jaane ka darr laga rahega..Mujhe uske saamne cautious rahna padega jabki meri best friend ke saath main jaise chaahoon waise behave kar sakta hoon.. usko gussa aa bhi jaaye to main jaanta hoon ki usko kaise manana hai. Mostly hum best friend ke saath bachpna se hi hote hain.. ek duse ki khoobiyaan kamiyaan achhi tarah se pata hoti hai. Uske saamne impression bhi nahin jamaana padta.. jabki Girlfriend ke saath aisa kuchh nahin ho sakta.. uske saath kuchh limitations hoti hain jo dosti me bilkul nahin hoti..toh mere liye dosti aur pyaar me se dosti ka palda thoda jyada bhari hai iska matlab ye nahin ki hum girl friend par trust nahin kar sakte..kar sakte hain.par hamesha ek darr bana rahta hai uss rishte me. Kachchi dor jaisa nazuk hota hai wo rishta .jabki best friend ke saath aisa kuchh nahin. Ruthna, ladna jhagadna sab hota hai friends ke beech phir bhi hum best friends rahte hain. Mera vote best friend ko jaata hai''

And the hall echoed by a sound of huge round of applauds for Maan but his these thoughts stirred Geet's mind..She was forced to think once

"Usne best friend ko apni girl friend se jyada importance di.. usne bola ki uski best friend uski girlfriend ban sakti hai.''

"Kya aisa ho sakta hai?..Kya Maan aur mere beech kabhi pyaar ho sakta hai?'' And her heartbeats increased a little at this mare thought of love but soon she snapped out of her thoughts

" Shut Up Geet.kya ulta seedha soch rahi hai.? Wo bas ek debate thi aur kuchh nahin.. aur debate me koi sach thode hi bolte hain''

After the debate was over Geet and Maan were sitting with friends and they all were discussing over the topic of debate..Dev as usual used this time to spend with Naina

"Maan jaisa ki tumne debate me bola dosti aur pyaar ke bare me ..Kya future me Geet tumhaari girlfriend ban sakti hai? Tumne bola tha na ki tumhaari best friend tumhaari girl friend ban sakti hai''One of the frind put his question forward

and Geet looked at Maan as that boy said what her heart was thinking but she was shocked when she saw Maan laughing loud.. He was laughing holding his stomach as if he was having some heavy fit of laughter.

"Come on.. Maine bas wahi poochha jo tumne kaha..isme hansne wali kya baat haiThat friend got little annoyed

Maan tried to talk while holding his stomach in attempt to control his laughter

"Idiot..Geet meri best friend hai girl friend nahin.. Girlfriend hone ke liye ek ladki ka hona zaroori hai aur Geet tumhen kis angle se ladki lagti hai? Uske kapde dekho, uske chalne firne ka style dekho..Kuchh hai ladkiyon jaisa usme jisko dekh ke dil me kuchh kuchh ho jaaye..? Pyar to kisi khoobsurat aur nazuk si ladki se hota hai..Meri Geetu ladki thode hi hai.wo to bas mere jaisi hai.rough and tough.'' Maan cleared their doubts without knowing that his word were having a different impact on Geet..

After finishing his views about Geet he laughed one more time.

"Geet aur meri girlfriend? Na... kabhi nahin'' and he kept laughing till his eyes were full of water

Everyone was gapping at him.. "What he was saying?'' They looked at Geet she was sitting with a colorless face..Geet was staring at Maan and then her eyes fell on the friends who had seen her expressions.

She understood what they were thinking. She tried to keep a forced smile on her face and tried to control the situation...

"aise kya dekh rahe ho..Maan theek hi to bol raha hai. Main ladkiyon jaisi nahin hoon na.''

Maan stopped for a moment and agreed with Geet with a smile

He wrapped his arm around her neck from the back

"aur waise bhi wo debate thi.. wahaan jo bola wo zaroorri nahin ki main apni life me bhi apply karun..waise bhi mujhe ye pyaar vyaar ka chakkar bada ajeeb lagta hai.. kitni baar apni girl friend ke aage jhukna padta hai..aur Maan singh Khurana ne jhukna nahin seekha..Mujhe sir utha ke rahna pasand hai ladkiyon ke saamne jhukna nahin''

"ewww ..aur main waise bhi un titliyon jaisi nahin ban sakti ..jo baby baby kah ke tumhaare aage peechhe ghoomti hain.. yuckkk..'' And she tried to lighten the situation and warned Maan " mere bare me aisa waisa to sochna bhi mat Maan ..main aise hi theek hoon.. mujhe bhi tumse pyaar vyaar nahin karna.. pata nahin tum mei aisa kya hai jis par ladkiya marti hain..mujhe to aisa kuchh nazar nahin aata jo baki ladkiyon ko nazar aata hai..''

It was an insult to Maan..He raised his eyebrows at her..

"Haan haan tujhe kyun nazar aayega.. ladkiyon jaisa sochti to nazar aata.. jaake un ladkiyon se pooch ek baar phir pata chalega ki mujhme aisa kya khaas hai.''

"I don't care...Whatever..'' But from inside Geet was not feeling good and she excused herself..

Maan looked at her

"Geet kya hua? Kahaan ja rahi hai?''

Geet tried to appear very normal

"kahin nahin ..mujhe kuchh kaam yaad aa gaya..main class me ja rahi hoon. Lecture bhi shuru hone wala hai na''

Maan was relaxed hearing her "Ok.. tu chal main bhi bas aa raha hoon do minute me.''

Geet was sitting on her seat and she was recalling what Maan had said about her..

She felt her eyes little warm and she was surprised at herself reacting like that

"Geet tujhe Maan ki baat se itna bura kyun lag raha hai..Galat kya bola usne?..tu hai hi aisi na?.. ladkiyon jaisa kya hai tere andar?.. Mom bhi to yahi kahti hain na ki tu ladkiyon jaise nahin rahti.. aur tujhe khud hi to pasand nahin na waise rahna.. to aaj itna bura kyun lag raha hai tujhe?'' She took a deep breath and convinced herself

"Calm down Geet..aaj tujhe ye ho kya gaya hai.. Maan ki baat ko dil par mat le.. wo to debate thi to usne aisa bola warna to tujhe pata hai a ki wo un titliyon ke liye bhi jyada serious nahin hai wo to bas time pass karta hain.. Pyaar vyaar ke bare me wo kuchh nahin sochta hai''

There was little time for the class to start and one boy sat near Geet..

He talked to Geet

"Geet.. kya hua? Maan ki baat ka bura laga? Mujhe pata hai ki usko aise nahin bolna chaiye tha.. mujhe pata hai tum bahut sweet ho.Umm..'' The boy hesitated for a moment and then asked .. "Geet..tum meri girlfriend banogi?''

Geet looked at her with a frown and before she could react that boy got a hard tap on his head..

He looked up.. It was Maan..

Maan glared at him

"Bhool se bhi aisa mat sochna.. Geet se dur rahna samjha''... and he mimicked him by making his face "Meri girlfriend banogi.. Hun.. bada aaya Bf banke Bhaag yahaan se...bas ek tu hi bacha hai iss puri duniya me Geet ka boy friend banne ke liye?.. shakal dekhi hai apni aaine me? Shooo.. ye meri seat hai to tum jaao apne seat par ' and he almost dragged that boy from there and sat near Geet.. He forwarded his hand towards her.. It was a burger..

Geet looked at him..

Maan gave her his sweet smile "Mujhe yaad aaya ki aaj humne kuchh khaya hi nahin,, debate ke chakkar me lunch karne hi bhool gaye..jaldi se kha lo.. sir aate hi honge unke aane se pahle khatam kar lo.''

Geet tried to avoid him.Bhookh nahin hai.''

Maan knew that she was lieing "come on Geet .. Jhooth mat bol.'' and he forced her to bite it.. Geet smiled and took a bite from the burger

Maan too had a bite from it "Mujhe bhi bahut bhookh lagi hai.''

Geet was looking at him.. He was oblivious of what was going in Geet's mind and heart..

They finished the burger and Maan wiped off his face and threw the wrapper and napkin in the dustbin kept at some distance from him. After he threw the napkin he saw some sauce on Geet's face .. He laughed and Geet frowned at him.. Maan signaled her to wait search for the napkin but it was already thrown..He wiped off the sauce with his finger and Geet stirred for a moment with that touch and looked at him.. Maan showed the sauce to her and was thinking to rub it but did not find anything as he had already thrown the tissue in the bin so he licked that sauce from his finger and winked at Geet

"Ho gaya saaf.''

His every gesture today was leaving a different effect on Geet and she was not able to understand it.. It was not for the first time that Maan had touched her like that.. They always were like that only with each other but today something had changed for Geet..

Geet reached home.. She was very quiet today and that was very unexpected for Rano..

"Geet..Kya hua beta..itni shant kyun hai?''

Geet replied "Kuchh nahin mom.. bas aise hi. Thoda thak gayi hoon.''

Rano smiled "Ok beta.. thoda araam kar le..Fresh feel karegi.. chai bana doon?''

Geet looked at her mother

"haan mom..'' Rano was to move but gete held her hand and said

"Mom.. aap yahaan baitho mere paas.. chai lane ko kisi aur se bol do.''

And Rano asked one servant to bring tea for Geet and sat near her..

Geet sat on floor and kept her head in Rano's lap..

Rano smiled and threaded her hair

"Kya hua Geet ..aaj kuchh hua hai kya.. maa par bada pyaar aa raha hai warna to tere paas kabhi apni maa ke liye time hi nahin hota.''

Geet ignored her mother and said

"Mom ek baat poochun?''

Rano smiled "Haan bol kya poochhna hai?''

Geet with little hesitation spoke

"Mom..kya main ladki nahin hoon?''

Rano looked at her daughter while tilting her head to a side

"ladki hi to hai ..Ladka thode hi hai.. kisi ne kuchh kaha kya?''

Geet raised her head and looked at her mother

" mom ..Maan kah raha tha ki mere andar ladkiyon jaisa kuchh nahin hai..babaji ne galati se ladki bana diya mujhe..aadaten to sab ladkon jaisi hi hai.''

Rano laughed hearing her daughter

"Galat kya kah raha tha.. tu kabhi ladkiyon jaisa behave karti hai kya..ladkiyaan nazakat se bhari hoti hain.. komal si. chhuimui si... aur tu.. tu to jab dekho ladkon se panga leti tahti hai..kitni baar bola hai ki kabhi kabhi ladkiyon ki tarah bhi rah liya kar..''

Servant came with the tea and Geet started to sip it.. Rano left from there saying that she needs to see the preparations for dinner.. and Geet too after having tea felt fresh and shrugged her mind and scolded herself for taking Maan's talks on heart

"Geet bhool ja jo tere dil me ho raha hai.. Mom bhi wahi bol rahi hain jo Maan bol raha tha.. iska matlab wo theek hi bol raha tha.. tu ladki nahin hai.''

And she tried to convince herself

"Hum dono best friends hain.. aur kuchh nahin''

PS:- Seems few of my readers haven't taken my rules seriously and are not ready to change themselves because they are still posting their copy paste comments which I'm reading without any change from the day I started to write😆😆 I'm really sorry to inform those readers that I'm not counting it as your comment..It's as good as no comment for me😛
