I am not an Indian but I came across this website years ago when I was searching for Madhubala Ek Ishq ek junoon. I soon became a part of that forum and shared a lot of things like my drawing of Madhubala and Rk yada yada. After the show ended I haven't watched any indian serial untile recently I came across Silsila in my youtube recommendation. I saw Drashti in the thumbnail so I immediately got interested and start watching the show from episode one...I hateee Kunal. I came back on this website just to rant and get it out of my chest. Like Drashti as Nandani, she was amazing. I mean I love Drashti but she made me hate Nandani lol. She is a good actress. So if anyone thinks I am being too mean, I am being mean to the characters not the actors themselves. I am an actor myself, trained in Musical theatre in london so I am aware of all the acting business. I think the actors are doing a great job. I just do not like the characters they are portraying. Not all characters, I just hate Kunal and Nandani. I just can not take it anymore. I thought after the leap I will see Nandani and Kunal will be in an unhappy relationship and we get to see them realising their mistakes and all but no. I know its awful to wish unhappiness towards someone but this is a serial not a real life, I can get my fantasies go wild because I do not like them two lol.
Nandani really suffered, she had an abusive husband who manipulated her, raped her god knows what, so she deserved a better life but the choices she made was just wrong. Mauli warned her about Rajdeep but she choose him over the friendship then and now she made even more f**ked up choice. She decided to go for her bf's husband who is married. She knew Mauli was pregnant. Mauli begged her to give her husband back but what does she do? Sleeps with him. I do not blame her for liking Kunal because seeing her situation, she was trying to get away from her husband and it seemed like she always wanted someone to love her and that time only person who gave her the attention that she wanted was Kunal. She saw how great Kunal was and how happy Mauli was with Kunal. She desperately wanted to be the Mauli in this story. Its understandable when someone who went through such horrible life would want a life like Mauli did but what I did not like was that Nandani kept saying ohhh Mauli is my best friend, ohhh I missed her blah blahhh blahhh if she really cared for Mauli she wouldn't have done what she did. The moment she realised she likes Kunal, she either would have gone far and get herself sorted or try to get over it there and then, slap her self in the face for being silly and move on,find a nice guy for her self but no. She never really tried to do anything for Mauli when Mauli did everything for her. She was way too selfish. She never truly valued her friendship with Mauli back then and now. In the past she choose Rajdeep over Mauli and this time she choose kunal over Mauli.
Lets not even talk about Kunalll hahahahhahaha the ultimate dick head. KUNAL is at fault more then anyone. That dude can not play the victim card here not at all. I just wanna dive in my laptop screen and slap his face across the moon. Anyway its good to be back. I forgot my old account details so had to make a new one. I appreciate all the updates and rants in this forum, keeps me entertained and interested. GG guys
