Ishita was sitting and sipping her coffee while Raman was looking for their luggage.
After few minutes he came and said -it will took sometime to get it clear, we have to wait. He said and settled next to ishita.
Ishita was just looking at him without saying anything.
Raman -kya hua??
Ishita -aap kitne handsome ho gaye hai, aur matured bhi. It's so good to see u like this.
Raman smiled and said -badi jaldi notice kar liya.
Ishita -i have been noticing bas bol nahi paayi. She said and come close to him. She kept her head on his shoulder and said -u remember raman, hamari pehli mulaqaat. It was my birthday and I wanted to become very special to someone. Kisi ki mannat banna chahti thi main. Chahti thi ki kisi ke andheri zindagi mein roshni laaun main. And today I can proudly say that I am ur mannat, very very special for u. U know I am really happy that I could brought u out of that darkness. Main aapko zindagi ko behtar bana paayi.
Raman kissed her temple and said -yes, u r indeed my mannat. Shayad duniya mein kuch bhi nahi hai jiski chahat tumse jyada hai. I really love u alot.
Ishita -i too love u alot and very lucky to have u with me. She said happily when Raman said -lagta hai luggage clear hone lagaa, u sit here main abhi le kar aata hoon. Phir hum chalte hai. He said and went while ishita look around and said -its a wonderful place. It's going to be fun living here.
They have reached London two hours ago and now going to her hostel to get her settled.
Soon, they were in her hostel. Raman introduced ishita to her warden and then ishita went to check the room while Raman went with the warden to complete the necessary formalities.
Raman paid the amount and signed the register as ishita's guardian .
Then he said to the warden-take extra care of her, she is new here. And call me if anything happens.
Warden-i will be careful and don't u worry,miss iyer will be safe here.
Raman -thank u, he said and turn to go when he saw her standing infront of him.
She was glaring at him when he asked -what??
Ishita -u r going without meeting me, yeh bhi koi baat hai.
Raman -i was not going, I was about to wait for u. U saw the room, tell me how's it.
Ishita -its nice, but can't we live together. U know hum Aap Ek house mein bandh ho, she was saying when Raman said -no ways, I will live in my apartment while u will live in hostel.
Ishita -this is nice, aap apartment mein rehenge aur main hostel mein, u don't love me anymore. She said making a complaining face.
Raman smiled and said-aisa hi samjho, u r going to live here only. tum jao apna room set kar lo. I will come after sometime. We will go shopping. Pick the necessary things for u. Phir kal hum tumhare admission ke liye chalenge. Waise I have talk about it, u just have to go and sign the form. Then u can join ur classes from tomorrow only.
Ishita smiled and hugged him tight. Raman too hugged her back and she said -its so easy with u being here. Agar aap nahi hote toh main kitni akeli ho jaati aapke bina. Thanks for being here for me, Raman.
Raman stroked her hair softly and said -i will be with u, always. Take care of urself. I will be back soon.
Ishita -come back soon, I will be missing u.
Raman -kal se busy ho jaogi, toh nahi miss karogi.
Ishita -i will still miss u and u have to come to meet me always.
Raman -woh toh main karunga hi, OK going. Will be back soon. I will bring a new phone with local sim. He said and went kissing her temple. She smiled and went inside waving bye to him.
Raman called their parents and informed that they reached safely and ishita is in her hostel.
Appa and amma were very grateful to raman for taking such great care of ishita while he just stop them praising him unnecessarily as for him, ishita is always been his responsibility only.
Raman reached his house and freshened up. He thought to rest for sometime but then thought to meet her and give her the mobile so that she can contact him in time of need.
After three hours, he reached her and called her but she was not coming down. He went to the warden and asked about ishita.
Warden -i have no idea, we r calling in the intercom but she is not answering.
Raman -what do u mean, she is not answering. She is OK naa.
Warden -she must be OK.
Raman -what do u mean, she must be OK. She has to be OK. Go and check her. Woh phone kyun nahi utha rahi. Actually main bhi chalta hoon, yes let me go and see her.
Warden -sorry,we can't allow u to go to her. It's a girls hostel.
Raman -i know but it's not a casual time. It's a problem, she is not picking the call. Allow me to go, please maam.
Warden -sorry, I can't.
Raman -please ma'am, if u want u can accompany me. I will not look at anyone else. I just want to see her safe. Please ma'am, it's a request. He said to which the warden nodded after thinking for a while.
Both went to check on ishita. Raman was too worried for her and warden opened the door with the extra keys.
Raman look around and saw her sleeping on the bed hiding into the blanket.
Raman sighed in relief and said -uff, she is sleeping. Here I am so worried and she is sleeping. He said and walked to her. He caressed her forehead softly and said-wake up princess, only to realise that she has fever.
Raman -arer Isse toh bukhar hai. Can u please call the doctor??
Warden came inside and check on ishita.
Warden -i will do the needful, u please go.
Raman -how can I, she is not fine. Itni lambi journey thi. She must have jet lag. How can I leave her like this. He was saying when ishita opened her eyes hearing the choas.
She loom at Raman with droopy eyes and said -thank god u came, Raman. I am not feeling good. Fever hai, vomiting bhi hui. My whole body is aching. Koi tha bhi nahi, to take care of me. I am missing amma so much. She said crying.
Raman -dont cry, I am here naa. I will take care of u.
Warden -u can't stay here, u please go. We will do the needful.
Ishita -please don't go leaving me. I am feeling homesick.
Raman -i am not going anywhere. I am here with u.
Warden -u can't stay here. She was saying when Raman said -i know, I am not staying here. But taking her home. I am her local guardian. I have the authority to take her home.will drop her back when she will be fine. Tell me where to sign, I will sign the paper and take her home.
Warden nodded and said -come downstairs. Saying so she went downstairs while Raman called amma and appa and told them everything. He took permission from them and then took ishita to his house after signing the required papers.
