"Tu paas nahi hai mere par door bhi nahi
Khwaab hai tu mera meri taqdeer nahi
Ishq hai tu mera par kyun main tere dil ki tasveer nahi"
He closed his diary with a sigh having written that. Well this had become his routine now. He glanced through her picture kept on his desk and got off the chair thinking he will finally get to see her today after whole three years.
Closing his eyes he recalled the last time he had laid his eyes on her, the day of her marriage with pratik when she had came to meet him just before she took the nupital vows with him, with lots of questions and unshed tears in her eyes.
She had hugged him one last time and he had walked away from her wishing her a happy married life.
Three years had passed ever since that day and she hadn't shown her face to him after that day. She refused to talk to him forget meeting him and today, she was returning back home after getting divorced from him.
Her marriage with pratik had been a horrible one and somewhere he blamed himself for all the pain she had to endure as he was the one who assured her that pratik was a nice guy and will always keep her happy.
"Puttar"
His mother's voice reached his ears breaking his chain of thoughts and he moved to the washroom to get ready.
"Chaand ko choone ki khwahish saja baithe
Ek bewafaa se hum wafaa ki umeed laga baithe"
She sighed as the cab driver told her that they have reached. She looked up at the same place she had lived all her childhood in and the same place she hadn't visited in the last three years now, the same place she had grown up in and spent almost her entire life with him, her first and the best friend, her first crush and her first love, Raman.
He saw her enter the society with down casted lashes, carrying a small suitcase. He held the rim of the steel rod tightly as he hoped her to look up at him and at least glance at him once but that never happened.
Disappointed, he went out of the house to have a closer glance of her and stopped at the sight of her hugging her mother. The old lady cried over her daughter's broken marriage while she just stood still and void to all emotions as she just tore herself from her and walked inside without uttering a single word.
This wasn't the ishita he knew, she just had similar features with the girl he had loved all his life, she nowhere neared his lively, bubbly ishita who could instill positivity in everyone around her with her words.
How much had those three years of being away from him had changed her, he couldn't help wonder. His feet stood stoned to the same position as he couldn't gather himself to go and meet her. He just saw her retreating figure with tear filled eyes and walked back to his room with dejected steps.
Two days passed away, he was just watching her from a distance, hearing her sobs from the balcony which was attached to his own blaming none but himself for her pain. Why he had to give her hand in pratik's that day, why he couldn't tell her how much he loved her and how a part of him was dying each passing moment seeing her going away from him. Why??
He winced in pain as the glass of whiskey he was holding in his hand broke and the broken pieces pierced into his hand. He looked at his palm and in those broken pieces of glass, he could see her. Caressing those broken pieces, he didn't realized when he ended up hurting himself all over again and laughing over his own pain, he left things as they were and directly heeded to the house next to his. Her mother opened the door and not even caring to greet her, he walked past her and barged into her room straight, unannounced.
His feet stopped at the sight of that very dear figure sitting in the dark curled to herself like a ball and once again a sharp pain rose on his left side seeing her.
Putting all his thoughts aside, he walked to her with a determination in his eyes and pulled her from her shell in a jerk.
Their eyes met and she stared into those chocolate orbs after whole three years, those three years of her life which had passed like hell for her without him. Her heart threatened to fall in love with him all over again and realizing she would earn nothing but hurt for herself, she parted from him and looked away.
"Come with me"
He spoke in a cold tone she had never heard from him and without hearing anything, he just dragged her out of the house.
********
Two hours had passed ever since he brought her to what was their place, the place which was their hideout from the world, where they had shared their sorrows and griefs. And today, he expected the same from her, he waited for her to bare her heart to him like always.
"Why you never told me anything?"
He finally asked after another hour of deadly silence. She just chuckled looking up at him probably for the first time and chuckled sarcastically before speaking up
"Unke ek ishare par iss dil ne dhadkanon se rishta tod liya
Wo humse humari saansein cheen kar puchte hain tumne jeena kyun chod diya"
She tried walking away but he held her hand and stopped her from leaving again.
R -don't go ishita
He pleaded wrapping his arms around her tightly while she struggled to escape his hold but failed miserably as her own guards started withering off in front of him.
I -why you did this to me raman? Why you let me go that night? Why you didn't stopped my marriage with pratik? Why?
She screamed and burst into sobs. He let her cry, pour out all her pain as he cried with her patting her back, trying to calm her but she seemed unstoppable today.
"Ashq ye tere aaj beh jaane de
Aankhon ko haal tere dil ka aaj keh jaane de
Jo dil me qaid raaz hain aaj honthon par aa lene de
Ek khwahish hai tujhpe fanaa hone ki... aaj use bhi jee jaane de"
She tore herself from him hearing that and looked at him for a second before speaking up
"Koi kusoor nhi tha ek tujhe chahne ke siva
Koi khwahish nahi thi ek tujhe paane ke bina
Kabhi jhaanke is dil me to tujhe pta chale
Iss dil ki koi hasrat nahi tujhpe marne ke siva"
R -I am sorry ishita, I should have taken this step that day only. I am the one to be blamed for all your pains. I should have told you that day only how much I love you and all this wouldn't have happened with you. It's my fault.
He spoke looking down in guilt while she spoke up
I -I had known about your love the very second day of my marriage raman. I had got your love letter the day I came home for the pag phera ritual.
She spoke recalling the night of her marriage when she was eagerly waiting for him. Her amma had pestered her into marrying a tamilian boy and though she loved raman, she had agreed for the alliance as she thought raman has no such feelings for her. She went to meet him one last time and hugged him and then got married to pratik. But the very next day when she had came to visit her parents after marriage, she stumbled upon the love confession raman had sent her through a letter, which never reached her. She confronted her mother and was shocked to know that she had purposely hid the letter from her as she never wanted her to end up with a Punjabi guy. She was heartbroken but decided to give her marriage with pratik her heart and soul not knowing she would end up burning herself in the process.
Raman was shocked to know the truth and smacked himself mentally for being hesitant in mouthing his feelings.
R -I am sorry
He spoke again pulling her in a hug again as his lips touched her forehead like a feather and she just snuggled more into him.
I -Just take me with you raman, take me away from here. I don't want to live in all this mess anymore. I am tired of it now raman... just take me away from all this. I want to live a happy, peaceful life with you. Please...
She looked at him hopefully and pressing her palms softly, he blinked his eyes assuring her that this time, he will fight the world for their love and won't let anyone or anything hurt or separate them.
Hours passed and both just sat there embracing the other watching the day slowly pass down as the sun set gathering all its golden glory from the horizon and the moon started spreading its silver aura to the world. They smiled looking at the other under the twinkling of the stars as they welcomed the new beginning of their lives with the broadest of smiles on their lips. He moved closer to her and cupped her face slowly making that beautiful smile of hers get replaced with an eager anticipation which didn't lasted long as he calmed the quivering of her lips sealing them with his.

Tere mere darmiyaan hain baatein ankahi
Tu wahaan hai main yahaan
Kyun saath hum nahin
Faisley jo kiye
Faasley hi mile
Raahein judaa kyun ho gayi
Na tu ghalat, na main sahi
Le ja mujhe saath tere
Mujhko na rehna saath mere
Le ja mujhe...
Thodi si dooriyan hain
Thodi majbooriyan hain
Lekin hai jaanta mera dil
Ho.. Ik din toh aayega
Jab tu laut aayega
Tab phir muskuraayega mera dil
Sochta hoon yahin
Baithe baithe yunhi
Raahein judaa kyun ho gayi
Na tu ghalat, na main sahi
Le ja mujhe saath tere
Mujhko na rehna saath mere
Le ja mujhe...
Yaadon se lad raha hoon
Khud se jhaghad raha hoon
Aankhon mein neend hi nahi hai
Ho.. tujhse juda hue toh
Lagta aisa hai mujhko
Duniya meri bikhar gayi hai
Dono ka tha safar
Manzilon pe aakar
Raahein judaa kyun ho gayi
Na tu ghalat, na main sahi
Le ja mujhe saath tere
Mujhko na rehna saath mere
Le ja mujhe...
Sunn mere Khuda bas itni si meri duaa
Lauta de humsafar mera
Jaayega kuch nahi tera
Tere hi dar pe hoon khada
Jaaun toh main jaaun main kahan
Taqdeer ko badal meri
Mujhpe hoga karam tera...
So that's all for this OS
