Ishita was crying hugging Raman tight hiding her face in his tummy while he was caressing her hair softly trying to comfort her.
After long, he said-stop it ishita, tumhe takleef hogi.
Ishita look at him and said -ho rahi hai, bahut takleef ho rahi hai, Raman.
Raman sat next to her and said -i am talking about ur physical pain, u will feel pain if u cry for long. And for ur mental peace ,I am here. Agar mere hote hue bhi tum apne chehre ke liye roti ho, toh koi maksad nahi mera tumhare saath hone ka.
Ishita -i am ugly, Raman.
Raman -no, u r not. He said hiding her in his chest. He start caressing her hair softly and soon she became silent.
Raman broke the hug and saw she was already slept. He look at the nurse and she said -its because of the medicine's effect. Let her sleep, unhe kam takleef hogi while dressing.
Raman nodded and make her lay down. Nurse dressed her wound and said -u can take her home now. Take care of her, she needs it most, more then the physical pain, the pain of being ugly will kill her. Don't leave her alone, aise situation mein log bahut kuch kar jaate hai.
Raman -main aisa kuch nahi hone dunga, I will take care of her fully. He said and picked ishita in his arms.
He made her sleep comfortably on the back seat and start driving while his mind went to the day when the big accident took place.
Flashback
Raman was working in his office when his phone rang. He picked the phone and got shocked hearing the news.
Raman -kya, school bus mein. Kaise, sab thik hai naa, mera adi, mera adi, he is OK naa. Which hospital, city hospital.i am coming. He said and ran out of the office.
Within minutes he reached the hospital and saw all the kids were crying, some were slightly burnt, some had major burns. All were crying, some because of pain and some were crying out of fear. Raman's eyes were searching for adi all worried when he finally saw him. He was crying bitterly while his parent were already there consoling adi.
Raman ran to them and said -maa, adi, tu thik hai naa. He said checking adi and sighed in relief seeing him all fine. He hugged adi tight and said -thank god ,u r fine adi, papa was so scared. He said and showered many kisses on his cheek.
Raman was hugging adi tight when he start crying.
Raman broke the hug and said -kya hua ,beta. Kahin chot lagi kya??
Adi nodded in no.
Raman -then why u r crying??
Adi -mujhe bachane mein meri ma'am jal gayi, papa. Unka pura face jal gaya, papa. She was crying hard in pain. Mujhe bahut bura lagaa, she was crying very badly. He said crying making Raman look at his parent.
Toshiji -iski class teacher. Saare bachchon ko safely nikaal diya tha usne.adi was sleeping, she went back to take adi and the roof of the bus fell on her burning her half of body and face.
Raman -omg, is she fine??
Toshiji -operation theatre mein hai, uske parent se mile hum. Bahut pareshan the, we will help them in every manner, puttar. She did a huge favour on us.
Raman -u r right, maa. She actually did a huge favour on us. Kahan hai woh.
Mr bhalla -dont know, hum toh adi ke paas hi the. Woh log honge yahin kahin.
Raman -u people stay here, I am going to check on her. He said and went to find about ishita.
He got to know that she is still in operation theatre. He start waiting for her along with her parent.
After long the operation got over. Ishita opened her eyes only to see subbu and his mother coming to broke the alliance. He saw them coming and going after breaking the alliance. He saw how shattered ishita and her parent were and decided to marry ishita.
Flashback end
Raman -i can't tell u, how sad I was seeing ur miserable condition. Ek toh tumhe itni takleef aur uss par uss subbu ke itne kadve bol. I really don't know how u survived hearing this .i saw u breaking with the news and that's why I decided to marry u. And today I am proud of my decision. Tumne mujh par bahut bada ehsaan kiya hai ishita and I couldn't thank u enough for that. All I can do is love and support u always and that I will do always. I know I don't love u now but I am sure seeing ur goodness that very soon I will love u. He said and continued driving.
Soon they reached home and Raman took her inside. He made her sleep and went outside.
Soon it was afternoon, adi came back and was asking for ishita when Raman realised that she is actually sleeping since long. He told adi to change saying ishita is sleeping and went to check on her.
Raman entered the room and saw ishita sitting in darkness.he come in and switched on the lights.
Ishita -please raman, andhera rehne dijiye. Yeh roshni chub rahi hai meri aankh mein.
Raman walked to her and said sitting beside her -what happened??
Ishita look at him and said -aapko nahi pata, aapne dekha nahi kya??
Raman moved little more close to her and said -i saw it, but why u r so depressed. Tum toh jaanti thi that ur face is burnt.
Ishita -jaanne aur dekhne mein fark hota hai. Main kitni ugly hoon. Just too horrible. Itna khatarnaak chehra, adi ne mujhe aise dekha hota toh shayad darr kar bhaag jaata. Aapka bhi mujhe chod kar bhaagne ka mann kiya hoga naa.
Raman -aisa kuch nahi hai. Aur naa hi aisa hota, adi tumse dur kabhi nahi jaata. U know why, coz he love u not ur face. Aur jahan pyaar hota hai naa, wahan kisi aur cheez ki zarurat nahi hoti. Adi loves u alot to let u go. he said trying to console her.
Ishita -aur aap, Aap pyaar karte hai kya mujhse to not let me go. Yaa yeh sirf mera ehsaan hai joh Aap chuka rahe hai. She asked looking at Raman making him look at her.
Raman -ishita, aaj main tumhe yeh baat phir bata raha hoon. Isse dhyaan se suno aur yaad rakhna. I know u r traumatised seeing ur face but mujhe tumhare chehre se koi problem nahi hai. Haan main aaj tumse pyaar nahi karta. But issliye nahi coz u r ugly, but issliye kyunki main tumhe jaanta hi nahi hoon. We met just two days back that too in a very complex situation. Aisi situation mein pyaar nahi hota. Aur ek din mein hua pyaar, zindagi bhai tikta bhi nahi hai. Love needs time, ishita. Love needs time to happen, aur jab Ek baar ho jaata hai, toh yeh chehra, body ,khoobsurati, badsurati, yeh sab kuch bhi maayne nahi rakhta. Agar maayne rakhta hai toh woh hai, woh dil jisse hum pyaar karte hai. I want to love ur soul, ishita, not ur face or body. And for that I need some time.
Ishita cried hearing him and said hugging him tight -please never leave me alone. Main nahi reh paaungi kabhi aapke bina. Aap meri himmat ho, raman. Main bina mar jaaungi.
Raman hide her in his chest and said -i will never leave u, ishita. Never ever. He said and kissed her temple softly while she closed her eyes feeling his touch.
