It was evening, ishita was very disturbed since the time she heard the news of raman being arrested. She was trying hard to be normal but can't think anything other then raman. She reached her society only to see an ambulance standing down her apartment. Her heart skip a beat thinking who got injured and sent a quick prayer to god for everyone's well being when she saw toshiji coming out of the ambulance while Mr bhalla was holding her firmly.
Ishita -toshi aunty, inhe kya hua, she thought and walked to them.she hold Toshiji from another side giving them support. Toshiji look at her and she just smiled.
Ishita and Mr bhalla took toshiji to their floor. Mr bhalla was searching for keys to open their flat while Toshiji was wiping her sweat feeling thirsty.
Ishita saw her so restless and took toshiji to her apartment.she make toshiji sit and went inside .after a while she brought water and some cookies for her.
Ishita -paani pee lijiye, aunty ji. She said when Mr bhalla and her parent too come in the hall.
Toshiji has little water.ishita was insisting toshiji to eat the cookies but she denied and start crying.
Ishita -kya hua aunty ji, Aap ambulance mein and now u r crying. Sab thik hai naa??
Toshiji -jiske bachche ke saath itna bura ho raha ho, woh kaise thik ho sakta hai. She said and cried when Mr bhalla said -her bp shoot up, behosh ho gayi thi raman ke arrest ke baare mein sunn kar.
Toshiji -pata nahi kya ho raha hai mere puttar ke saath. Usse uss galti ki saza mil rahi hai joh usne ki hi nahi. Usne kabhi bhi Shagun par haath nahi uthaya. Dahej lena toh dur usne toh uske papa ke diye hue paise bhi wapas kar diye the.par phir bhi uss churail ne mere puttar ke saath aisa kiya. Aur pata nahi raman ko bhi kya ho gaya hai, kehta hai he deserve that, uske liye koi lawyer karne ki zarurat nahi. He deserve to be in jail. Pata nahi kya hoga mere puttae ka, how he is going to come out of this. She was saying and crying while iyers were just listening to her.
Though Mr and Mrs iyer wanted to be happy seeing Raman's condition but was feeling bad seeing Mr and Mrs bhalla like this. As they know how much it pains when their kid is in pain, as they have gone through the same pain when ishita was in pain.
Amma went to toshiji and start consoling her.
Amma -u please don't cry, sab thik ho jayega.
Toshiji -kaise thik hoga, mera puttar, mera raman puttar, Itni takleef mein hai. Noone is ready to take his case. Woh khud ko gunahgaar bol raha hai. Agar woh hi aise himmat haar jayega toh kaise baahar niklega inn sab se. She was saying and crying while ishita was thinking that why raman is not interested in coming out of this mess. Why he is considering himself guilty when he actually didn't did anything wrong.
Ishita -why raman is doing so, woh baahar kyun nahi aana chahta.kahin woh Shagun ke dhokhe se itna affected toh nahi ho gaya that he don't wanna come out of all this. He really love her so much, ki uski bewafai par raman itna tut gaya that he is ready to leave everything. Everything, even his parent too. Waah kya pyaar hai, I really appreciate his love for Shagun. Puri zindagi aisi ladki se pyaar karna, jisne sirf usse dhokha diya hai. Is it really that easy, really. She was lost in her thoughts when she heard her mother saying -coffee peeogi, kanna??
Ishita look at her amma, as it took her sometime to register what she is saying when amma asked again -bolo naa, will u have coffee??
Ishita look around and saw bhallas were gone.
Ishita -amma, toshi aunty aur bhalla uncle kahan gaye??
Appa -they went back to their house. Waise I shouldn't feel bad for Raman, kyunki joh bhi uske saath ho raha hai, uski karni ka phal hai. But it's really sad to see his parent suffering like this. Bachchon ki takleef dekhna, is the worst pain anybody can go through. I can feel how much helpless Mr bhalla must be feeling this time, he said while ishita went to her room not able to hear a word more about bhalla's pain.
She went to her room and closed the door. She sat on the floor. She closed her eyes and tears start flowing from her eyes non stop. She didn't know why she was feeling so much pain but wasn't able to stop her tears.
Ishita wiped her tears again and again and said -why u r crying, ishita. Raman ne mujhse kabhi pyaar nahi kiya and u know this thing very well from the very beginning. Then why u r feeling betrayed. He always loved Shagun and no matter what happens, he will always love her only. She said and cried.
After sometime, she wiped her tears and said -mujhe koi fark nahi padta. Woh Shagun se pyaar kare yaa kisi aur se, I really care a damn. Mujhe sach koi fark nahi padta. She said again all determined and went to washroom to freshen up.
After a while, she came out and start having coffee with her parent. Though she was behaving to be normal but deep inside her heart was feeling bad for raman. She wanted to bury every feeling about him but wasn't able to do so.
She finished her coffee and said -amma, I am tired. Going to sleep. Agar koi kaam hoga toh jagaa dijiyega mujhe.
Amma was about to say something when appa said -ok kanna, u go.
Ishita nodded and went to her room. She lay down on the bed and slept thinking about Raman.
She got up hearing someone's crying and went out. Sound was coming outside the house, she went outside and was shocked to see Raman deadbody lying on the ground while his parents were weeping.
Toshiji look at ishita and said -dekh ishita, tera badla pura ho gaya. Mera beta mar gaya. Itni insult hui iski ki isne suicide kar liya, ab toh tumhe khush mili hogi naa.
Ishita cried hearing her and said -mujhe kyun khushi milegi, Maine toh raman se pyaar kiya tha.
Toshiji -aur phir bhi tune usse akela chod diya, pyaar karne wale kabhi akela nahi chodte. Mera puttar akela pad gaya and took this extreme step. She said and cried when ishita got up at once. She was sweating badly and look around and realised that it was just a bad dream.
She closed her eyes feeling relaxed and then open her eyes saying -yeh sapna tha, but it could be real too. Mujhe raman ko bachana hoga. I have to save him from all these allegations. Bhale hi woh mujhse pyaar karta ho chahe naa karta ho, but I have to save him, uski zindagi se bahuton ki zindagi judi hai. Kahin naa kahin meri bhi shayad. I can't see him in pain, usne mujhse pyaar nahi kiya tha toh kya hua, I loved him. Aur ussi pyaar ke liye mujhe usse bachana hoga. Yes I have to save him anyhow. She said all determined to save raman.
