All were busy in admiring the baby while Raman's eyes were fixed on ishita who was still sleeping.She was looking too beautiful and pure without any makeup. That's when the nurse entered the room and spoke " please don't make the place crowded, extra people move out , only one person can stay with the patient ".
Everybody looked at each other when Mr bhalla spoke " don't worry sister we all are leaving ."
The nurse nodded and went while Amma spoke " you all go , I m staying here ".
R- I can stay here with aunty, if something is needed, I can help her .
Raman spoke immediately that's when toshiji spoke in jiffy " arey mihir is there na, he will stay with his sister and mother , hai na madhu ".
M- yes Raman kanna, you had already done much for us , mihir is there, he will stay with us .
R- haan wo hai but still, I was there with ishita all the time , what if she will search me after she woke .
M- it's ok Raman , we are there na, you can go freely.
Raman nodded and spoke halfheartedly " ok ".
Saying so he again glanced at ishita and went out of the room , soon his parents too joined him and they headed towards their house .On the way toshiji asked " Raman why did you took ishita alone to hospital , why didn't you waited till we return ".
R- ishita was screaming out of pain and you are asking why I didn't wait .is there any problem if I took her to hospital .
Toshiji composed her mind And spoke making him understand " you are not understanding puttar , these are very big things,what if something bad had happened with ishita , then iyers would had blamed you only ."
R- they would had blamed me,if something bad had happened to her na but see nothing had happened rather she gave birth to such a cute boy. Boy se yaad aaya we hadn't kept the baby's name , now what we will call him .
T- arey, he is just a day old , he will be named in his naming ceremony , not so soon .
R- when .
T- after six days .
R- ok , I have enough time to think baby's name , ma can you suggest some nice name.
T- why are you so excited Raman, that's not our baby , it's iyers baby and they will keep the name according to their culture , why they will let you keep the name .
R- because I had told ishita that I will suggest band for baby as I m taking extra care of him .
T- are you mad Raman , do you really think that iyers will keep their baby's name suggested by you .
Raman looked at his mother while toshiji said " puttar I don't want to be harsh but the truth is ishita is just your friend , she is widow of someone and that baby belongs to her and her deceased husband , so it will be better for you to get over them as soon as possible . You wanted to help her , I let you do that but now you have your own life concentrate on that ."
Raman didn't spoke anything and continued driving , soon they reached their society . All got down of the car and moved towards house , sweety was already their , she opened the door for them, Raman moved towards his room without saying anything while toshiji informed sweety that ishita has given birth to a baby boy. Sweety smiled a bit and moved towards the kitchen , though she tried but toshiji was quick enough to notice the tears formed in her eyes . She walked behind sweety and hugged her tight while sweety broke into tears and spoke " l won't be able to witness such beautiful day ever ".
T(consoling her)- why are you be so hopeless puttar , matarani sabke liye sochti hain .
S- no ma ,it won't work in my case as matarani has already closed all the paths herself , I m a divorcee ; barren woman no one will ever accept me .koi nahi .
Toshiji any how consoled her and went to change . All freshend up and gathered at dinning table, all had dinner in silent with different thoughts . On the other hand ishita woke and saw around , she saw her mother and father there . She called her Amma and asked about the baby , she was overjoyed to know that she gave birth to a baby boy . The moment she got to know that Raman was first one to pick the baby , she got too happy as well as relieved, as she knew how disappointed he would had if he didn't had got chance to pick the baby first. Ishita searched for him but her mother told that bhalla's are gone . Ishita got bit sad thinking she couldn't share her happiness with Raman but then thought it's her mistake as she slept so much that she missed him .She was still lost in her thoughts when the baby started crying , seeking her attention . She smiled looking to the crib in which the baby was laying , Amma took out the baby from crib and gave the baby to ishita . She smiled fully on his sight and spoke holding him firmly " Amma he is very tiny ".
A- yes kanna , babies born like this only. very small and delicate , we have to take care of them and make them grow .
Ishita saw the baby and hugged him tight , close to her heart, she was looking at him again and again , still not believing that she is holding her baby in her arms , that's when the nurse showed up and instructed ishita to feed the baby . She looked at Amma and told her to teach ishita to feed the baby .Amma nodded and told ishita to feed the baby , she nodded and did same . The baby was having his milk while ishita was all busy in admiring him , caressing his tiny soft body .
Raman headed towards his room after having dinner, on the other hand iyers too had their dinner in hospital itself and then mihir and appa came back to home . Ishita was trying to sleep but she wanted to talk to Raman once . She tried to shrug the thought but she was not able to sleep without talking to him , thinking so she asked to Amma's phone and called Raman. He saw Amma's call and picked it instantly thinking why she is calling him at this time, may be she need something but next moment he smiled fully listening to ishita's voice while she said " hello ".
R- hello ishita you are alright na?
He asked getting happy listening to her so late .
I- yeah , I m good . did you saw him?
She asked getting happy for which he too got happy and answered " yeah , and for your kind information , I was the first one to hold him ".
I- yeah , I know . Amma has told me .
R- haan and you know , I was so scared to hold him , he is so small and delicate . The nurse gave me , I held him thinking thinking he would be heavy but he was light , it seems that I m holding only cloths not a baby in it .
He shared his experience happily with ishita which he hadn't shared with anyone yet . She smiled fully listening to him and spoke, yeah I too felt him so light but nurse told that his weight is ok .
R- I thought will go after meeting you but you were sleeping like kumbhkaran , so I have to come before you wake .
I- yeah , I was looking for you but Amma informed that you are gone .
R- humm , achcha you remember your promise na.
I- which one ?
R- cheater , you are pretending to forget , you tell me that you had forget your promise that I will name the baby .
I- achcha , when did I promised this .
R- I knew you will say that only cheater , cheater , ishita is a cheater .
He spoke in a go while she smiled fully listening to him , mocking her like a school going kid . She then asked " achcha tell me what name had you thought ".
R- aayush , how is it .
I- aayush ... sounds nice .
R(excited)- achcha hai na and we will call him ishu or aayu.
I- arey ishu is my name we will call him aayu .
R- achcha hai na .
I- humm it's nice .Ok tell me one thing , how is sweety .
R- She is ok , why did you asked ?
I- Amma told me that you , uncle aunty were there but sweety was not . That's why I thought may be she us upset .
R- I didn't noticed this actually , ok I will talk to her .
I- if possible bring her with you , she shouldn't feel left out .
R- ok as you say .
Like this they talked for long like normal couple and slept late ending their day .
