He wants me to quit my job after marriage

My boyfriend of 5 years proposed to me and I gladly accepted the proposal. Now, we're discussing our plans post-wedding. One thing that hit me most is his demand for me to quit my job after we get married. I work in a foreign marriage agency he says he feels uncomfortable with me working there. Basically, we match foreign individuals and assist these couples of the all the legal documents and such. Should I agree with him? I've been working since before we met and he knows full well what I do for a living. Why now? Why can't I keep working?
