Hey everyone...thanks for commenting. I'm sorry for the delay in posting this. But to make up for my mistake, I'm posting a SUPER long chapter.

"Bhau?"

"Gudiya?"

Both the girl and Arjun broke their hug and turned around to face the 6 people standing behind them. All 6 had a mortified look on their faces. They couldn't begin to understand what the hell was happening in front of their eyes. Only one face showed signs of recognition but even it was confused as to why this girl was in hospital. The girl herself was a little puzzled to have so many unknown faces in her room. Arjun took charge of the situation.

"Guys, this is my sister Ahana Suryakant Rawte. And Gudiya this is my ETF team." And he started individually introducing them.

"Shreekant Sen, technical expert of ETF." Shree passed a smile and waved.

"Chandrakant Patil, commando of ETF." Chotu said a small hi.

"Liza D'Cruz, forensic expert." Liza politely smiled.

"Sakshi Anand, crime journalist." Sakshi, being herself, burst out, "Hi Ahana, how are you? It's so nice to meet you. Achha how is being Arjun's sister and-" but before she could complete, Liza covered her mouth. Ahana just looked at Arjun and she immediately knew that Sakshi was the chatterbox of the team.

"Moving on... Aisha Kapoor, encounter specialist of ETF." Aisha just smiled.

"And this is Sameer Damsingh Rathore, chief of ETF." Ahana's head snapped up hearing this introduction. Her eyes filled with tears as she stared in his direction. Even Sameer's eyes were shining with unshed tears. The team was once again confused to see their chief's reaction while Arjun just observed this with a sad smile.

"Sameer bhai..."

"Doll..."

Only these words left their mouths before Sameer covered the distance between the door and the bed in 3 long strides and hugged Ahana. Both were crying silent tears as they held on to each other. Poor Shree and Chotu were about to get a heart-attack, Aisha was supporting a jealous look on her face and Liza and Sakshi were downright bemused.

"Kya hua meri doll ko? Tu hospital mein kaise? Aur itni chotein...tu bata kisne kiya yeh sab. Main uski jaan le lunga."

"Sameer bhai kuch nahi hua hai mujhe. Main bilkul theek hoon. Aap kaise hai aur yeh kya haal bana rakha hai aapne? Koi ladki nahi mili jo aapko thoda gentleman bana de?" Ahana smiled teasingly at Sameer while Sameer just mock glared at her. "Achha aapko pata hai main kitna bore ho gayi thi yahan par aur bhau toh mujhe rulane pe tule hue the."

Now Arjun pretended to pout. "Achha bachcha, Sameer bhai mile toh meri shikayat karna shuru ho gayi? Behen behen na rahi." Sameer just laughed at Arjun's expression. "Haan toh bechari galti se Rawte khandaan mein paida ho gayi. Asal mein toh yeh meri behen hai kyu doll?" Sameer and Ahana high-fived and all three started laughing.

The team watched this interaction with a smile on their faces. They couldn't believe that these two were the same people who didn't see eye to eye on any matter. In office, they wouldn't leave a single chance to taunt each other and here they were acting as best friends. They were still a little confused about how Sameer knows Ahana but nonetheless happy to see their seniors behaving like teens.

Suddenly, Ahana realized something and asked Arjun, "Bhau aapne kaha tha na ki wo zinda hai toh wo kahin dikhayi kyu nahi de rahi? Kya wo mujhse itna naraz hain ki mujhe dekhne tak nahi aayi?"

Hearing her question, Arjun's face paled. His sister just woke up and he didn't want to tell her about Riya just yet, but it seemed that he could no longer evade this topic. "Gudiya, I'm here for her only." Ahana, being a smart cop's sister, immediately understood something happened to Riya and she is in this same hospital.

The team threw curious glances at them but the Rawte siblings completely ignored them. Arjun turned his head away because he knew he would break down if his eyes met with anyone and answered the unvoiced question of Ahana. He began narrating what happened in the past 8 months, how they interrupted a drug deal and how they found Riya, all broken and bruised from the abuse she endured God only knows for how long. By the time he finished, there was an eerie silence occupying the room. Everyone was re-living the horror their eyes witnessed just a couple hours ago and their mind only had one question... 'how did Ahana know Riya?'

A heart-wrenching sob brought them out of their thoughts and their heads snapped in Ahana's direction who was crying her eyes out. Arjun quickly went and sat beside her, running his hands through her hair in order to comfort her. What Ahana said next shook them even more.

"Sab meri galti hai bhau. Meri wajah se hi aaj Riya ji ka yeh haal hai. Kaash uss din maine apne dimaag se nahi apne dil se socha hota. Meri wajah se hi in sabko apne friend se itne din dur rehna pada. Meri wajah se hi aapko apne pyaar ko dobara khona pada. Meri wajah se sabne itna kuch saha hai. Isse achha toh main hi mar jaate."

"Gudiya!! Chup. Ek dum chup. Dobara marne ki baat ki toh main tujhse kabhi baat nahi karunga. Samjhi?" Ahana kept on crying and fell in Arjun's arms. "Galti teri nahi meri thi. Agar maine apne gusse pe kaabu kiya hota toh na tumhari yeh haalat hoti aur na hi Riya ko kuch hota. Tum dono ka gunehgaar main hoon."

Sameer who couldn't handle any more of this suspense spoke up, "Arjun yeh sab kya hai? Doll aur tum kis baat ko lekar khud ko blame kar rahe ho? How are you both responsible for Riya's condition?"

Arjun looked at the team, sighed, and began his story.

*Flashback*

(8 months ago)

It was like any other day in ETF. They got a case and solved it by evening because of Arjun's observation skills. Everyone was in the office completing the leftover paperwork. Shree, Riya and Chotu were as usual gossiping while working.

Shree - Yaar Chotu, aaj koi kuch zyada hi nahi chamak raha? Lagta hai kisi akdu ki chinta dekh kar koi aaj bahut khush hai.

Chotu - Sahi kaha tune Shree. Aaj ka mausam bhi kisi ki khushi dekh kar bahut romantic ho gaya hai. Aur ho kyu na...jab aapka pyaar aapki itni fikar kare toh sab kuch romantic hi lagta hai na.

Saying this, both passed teasing smiles to Riya who was lost in what happened minutes ago. She started blushing listening to their remarks.

Riya - Bas karo guys, aisa kuch nahi hai. Arjun sir toh bas as a colleague mere liye concern the aur kuch nahi. Aur main unki respect karti hoon, unse pyaar nahi.

Shree - Arey but humne toh Arjun sir ka naam tak nahi liya. Dil ki baat khud hi zuban par aa gayi. Hamse toh kam se kam jhooth mat bol.

Chotu - Hey Ram, humari Riya kitni badi ho gayi hai ke ab pyaar bhi ho gaya hai ise. Time ka toh pata hi nahi chala.

Riya reddened even more. A few minutes ago, on the case, the suspect managed to hurt Riya a little. Arjun saw Riya's arm bleeding and his anger just skyrocketed. He beat the culprit black and blue and would've even killed him if Rathore didn't stop him.

In Rathore's cabin

Rathore was glaring at Arjun. If looks could kill, Arjun would have died a million deaths by now. Arjun as usual paid no attention to Rathore and was twirling his pen. Rathore couldn't contain his anger any longer. "Yeh kya tha Rawte? Tumne us culprit ko itni buri tarah kyun pita? Kis baat ke liye usse personal dushmani nikal rahe the? Learn to act like a responsible officer Rawte."

Arjun looked up at Rathore. Agar meri Riya ko koi bhi chot pahunchayega main uski jaan le lunga. Aur isne toh Riya ka khoon bahane ki jurrat ki thi. He acted like he didn't care what Rathore was saying. "Aage se aisa nahi hoga, SIR." He knew Rathore would get mad hearing the forbidden word. "If you don't mind, I think we all should just go home now Sir." Without waiting for a reply, Arjun left the cabin. Rathore stared at his retreating back, "DAMMIT RAWTE!"

Arjun went towards the conference room and heard the trio talking or more like Shree and Chotu were teasing Riya with his name. A slight smirk made its way on his lips. He was enjoying Riya's blush and shy smile more than he would like to admit. But he was also a little jealous that it wasn't him who was evoking such emotions out of her. He decided to help her out.

Riya was getting tired of her friends' teasing when Arjun came to her rescue. "Agar tum logon ko yaad na ho toh main tumhe yaad dila deta doon ki raat ho chuki hai aur ghar jaane ka time bhi. Unless tum sab ko aaj yahin sona hai, I suggest you all get moving." Riya had never been more thankful for Arjun's commanding nature. The trio packed up their stuff when Riya heard Shree murmuring under his breath, "Lo aagaya tera akdu rang mein bhang daalne. Yahi baat politely bol dete toh kya chala jaata inka?" Riya playfully elbowed him.

Rathore and Shree went together and Chotu left on his bike, leaving the angry cop and his angel behind. Riya started walking out of the parking lot when Arjun called her from behind, "Kahan jaa rahi ho Riya? Chalo main tumhe drop kar deta hoon."

Riya was about to say yes when her mind travelled back to the teasing session she received a couple minutes back. She didn't want to suffer that again the next day. "It's ok sir. I can manage. Main taxi se ghar chali jaungi." And with that she started walking again.

Arjun was a little confused on her refusal. But then his most popular emotion took control; anger. "Main pooch nahi raha tha. Now come sit in the car."

"Sir maine kaha na I'll take a taxi home. Aapko takleef karne ki koi zarurat nahi hai." Uh-oh big mistake. Arjun strode towards Riya, grabbed her by her arm and silently took her to his car. Riya was shocked and was unable to react. "Get in the car Riya." She silently followed his order.

Arjun started the car and drove towards her house. The ride home was filled with a comfortable silence. Riya kept stealing glances at her love thinking he was not noticing. Unknown to her, he noticed the slightest of her movements and was also admiring her from the corner of his eyes. Her home came a little too early for both of their liking.

"Thank you, sir, for dropping me home." Riya was just about to get out of the car when something, or rather someone, restricted her from doing so. She looked at her hand which was now captured in someone's else grasp. She followed the hand to the owner and her eyes met his. Both were lost in each other, their eyes doing the talking on their behalf.

Arjun broke the silence, "How's your injury now Riya?" Riya blushed remembering the incident. "It's better now sir."

"Take care of yourself. Goodnight."

Riya couldn't believe her ears. She could hear his concern in his voice. She reddened even more and smiled her dimpled smile at him, the one she reserved only for him. "Goodnight sir..." She turned around and went to her house.

Arjun couldn't help the smile coming on his face. Her smile, her dimpled smile, could make him happy in even the toughest situations. He loved to see her happy...and moreover he loves to see her happy when he is the reason for her happiness. After staying for a while, Arjun left for his house. The whole ride home, Riya occupied his thoughts.

When he reached home, Arjun saw his door slightly open. He immediately got alerted and walked towards the house with his gun ready in his hands. He opened the door and turned on the lights. The sight that greeted him gave him a shock, in a good way. There in the middle of his living room stood his sister whom he haven't seen since Roshni left him. His Gudiya...his little Ahana.

Ahana ran into awaiting arms of her brother. Both had tears of joy streaming down their faces. When they pulled apart, Arjun rained questions on her. "Gudiya tu yahan kaise? Kaisi hai tu? Kitna time ho gaya tujhse mile. Aur dekh tu kitni badi ho gayi hai. Aai-baba kaise hain? Wo apni meds to time se lete hain na? Aur teri studies kaisi chal rahi hain?"

"Bhau aap kuch bolne doge toh hi main bataungi na. Main aur aai-baba, hum sab theek hain. Wo log apni meds bhi time pe lete hai aur meri studies bhi achhi chal rahi hain. Ab aap nahi dekhoge toh kya main badi nahi hongi? Aur raha main yahan kaise aayi...toh kya mujhe apne bhau se milne ke liye bhi permission chahiye?" Arjun just hugged her again.

Both the brother-sister pair talked for a long time catching up to each other's life. It was around midnight when their conversation went to the topic that created a havoc in their lives. LOVE

Ahana got a sad look on her face. "Bhau, Roshni vahini ke jaane ke baad bilkul akele reh gaye hain na? Aap unse kitna pyaar karte the. Aap wapis ghar aa jaiye na."

"Gudiya tu bhi jaanti hai ki main ghar wapis tab tak aaunga jab tak Roshni ke kaatil ko saza na dila doon. Aur main akela kahan? Tu aur meri ETF team hain na mere saath hamesha. Aur tujhe pata hai Sameer ETF ka chief hai. Rahi baat pyaar ki toh wo meri life mein kabhi khatam hua hi nahi tha."

"Aapka matlab hai..."

Arjun's face broke out into a smile. "Haan Gudiya mujhe pyaar ho gaya hai. Wo iss duniya ki sabse khoobsurat ladki hai, surat se bhi aur sirat se bhi. Jab main uske saath hota hoon na toh ek ajeeb sa chain milta hai mujhe. Jab wo muskurati hai toh mere chehre par bhi ek muskurahat aa jaati hai. Jab wo hasti hai toh main apni saari pareshaniyan bhool jaata hoon. Jab humari aankhein milti hain to aisa lagta hai ki hum dono ke ilava duniya mein aur koi nahi hai. Jab wo dukhi hoti hai toh dard mujhe hota hai. Jab wo roti hai toh dil mera tut jata hai. Jab use chot lagti hai toh main mar jaata hai. Meri zindagi usi se shuru hoti hai aur usi pe khatam. Itna pyaar toh maine kabhi Roshni se bhi nahi kiya. Aisa lagta hai jaise main use sadiyon se jaanta hoon. Ab toh use door bhi nahi raha jaata. Bahut pyaar karta hoon use."

Ahana was stunned for a minute. She couldn't believe her brother fell in love with someone other than Roshni and that too this deeply. She was jealous and mad at whoever this girl was. How dare she think she can take my vahini's place in my bhau's life? I hate her so much. I will never let her replace Roshni vahini. Bhau ko bhi ehsaas dilana hoga ki what he feels for this girl is attraction and not love. She can never be my vahini. She pretended to be happy for Arjun. "Sach bhau? Kya naam hai unka."

Arjun's face had a love-filled look on his face. "Riya...Riya Mukherjee naam hai uska."

And that started a war inside Ahana's mind. They both talked for a while when Ahana informed Arjun, "Bhau main 8 days mein wapis jaa rahi hoon. Toh main chahti hoon ki mere jaane se pehle hum bahar dinner ke liye chalein. Next Sunday aap mere liye book kar do okay?" Arjun nodded with a smile and then both retired to their rooms.

For the next few days, everything was the same. Arjun started spending more time with Riya, never yelled at her, always took special care of her and indirectly showcased his feelings for her as well. But he never got the courage to confess. He was afraid, not of rejection as he knew that Riya also loved him, but of the fact that Riya might not be able to handle the intensity of his feelings for her.

On the other hand, Riya was on Cloud 9. The man she loved had softened his behaviour towards her. But this closeness between then was bothering someone else. That someone being Ahana. She was still not capable of understanding the connection between Arjun and Riya. She wasn't ready to accept that her brother had moved on and she wasn't ready to move on herself.

And then the Sunday came which brought clouds of darkness in their lives. The day that resulted in the biggest tsunami in their happiness.

ETF had gotten a case and they were busy in catching the culprit on the dockyard. Suddenly the boys heard a shriek and they spun around to see that some goon had pushed Riya on to the rocks. Arjun gave a death glare to the goon and shot him dead. ETF overpowered the entire gang and left the goons with the local police. Riya had twisted her ankle and could not walk without a support.

Arjun without thinking twice picked her up and placed her in the car. To say that Rathore, Shree and Chotu were stunned would be an understatement. They quickly got in the car and drove to their office. It was late in the evening so Rathore decided that they will finish paperwork the next day. Arjun and Riya went home together. In the car, Riya noticed Arjun's hands tightening around the steering wheel, so much that his knuckles turned white. She was worried but didn't dare say a word.

Arjun was mad. This was yet another time some criminal managed to hurt his Riya and he couldn't do anything. He wanted to rip that goon to shreds for even breathing in her direction.

Soon her house came and she opened the door to get down when suddenly she was lifted in the air. Her head snapped up and her eyes met with two very emotional eyes. She could detect anger, concern in those eyes but there was a prominent emotion she couldn't quite identify. She just wound her arms around his neck to keep herself up.

Arjun silently carried her to her house and softly placed her on the couch. "Where's the first aid kit?" Riya was about to deny his help but one stern look from him and she quietly pointed in a direction. "First drawer from the left." Arjun went and came back with the box in his hands. He silently did first aid and wrapped her foot with a bandage. Riya was lost in his caring nature.

Arjun looked up and their eyes met for umpteenth time that day. Both held their stare and let their eyes do the talking, as usual. Arjun's eyes betrayed him and a tear fell. Riya was startled and quickly wiped it away. She questioningly looked at him and he turned his gaze away.

"I'm sorry Riya. Mere hote hue bhi tumhe phir se chot lag gayi. And I promised that I will take care of you." Riya put a hand on his lips, effectively stopping his rant. She lightly shook her head and smiled. "Sir, it's not your fault and you did save me. Agar aapne use goli nahi maari hoti toh shayad main aapke saamne nahi khadi hoti." Now Arjun put a hand on her lips.

Both just stared at each other with millions of emotions passing between them. Arjun reveled in the way her lips felt against the palm of his hand. Time just stood still for both of them.

On the other hand, Ahana was waiting in the restaurant for her brother to arrive. He wasn't answering her calls. She knew he had an emergency case today but it finished hours ago. She had been sitting there for 2 hours waiting on her brother. Her patience was running thin. A waiter came to her table. "Ma'am our waiting time is 2 hours. As you know how popular this restaurant is, we kindly ask you to empty this table as your reservation time is over. We apologize ma'am but these are the policies." Ahana just tearfully looked in his direction and ran out of the restaurant.

She knew her brother forgot about her once again like he did for the past 1 week. Angry tears made their way down her eyes. Arjun's world seemed to revolve around Riya and he completely forgot others who were a part of his life. She could vaguely hear the waiter yelling for her in the background but she ignored him completely. Suddenly someone grabbed her arm and jerked her backwards. She looked up to see that it was the same waiter who saved her from a speedy car. She thanked him and was about to walk away when he pulled her back again. "Ma'am you forgot your wallet in the restaurant."

Ahana silently took the wallet. "My name is Ahana, not ma'am."

"Well then nice to meet you Ahana. I am Ryaan. You don't seem to be in your senses right now. Let me drop you home."

Ahana didn't want to argue so she agreed. The entire ride home, Ryaan was the only one talking. As soon as her home came, she ran inside without thanking him. She saw that no one was home and guessed that Arjun was still with Riya. Her anger replaced the hurt she was feeling.

She drove madly to Riya's house. All logic and reasoning left her when she opened the door of Riya's house and witnessed the scene. Her brother and Riya were staring at each other unknown to the storm brewing behind them. SLAP! A slap brought them back to reality. Seeing Riya's red cheek sent Arjun into blind rage. He turned around to see who did this and was shocked to see his sister standing there with madness in her eyes. Riya was shocked and teary to see a girl standing above her. Before anyone could process the situation, she started yelling.

"Who do you think you are? Jo chahogi wahi hoga? Tumhari himmat kaise hui Roshni vahini ki jagah lene ki koshish karne ki. Jabse tum bhau ki life mein aayi ho, tab se unhe kuch aur dikhta hi nahi. Yahan tak ki aaj humara dinner plan bhi unhone sirf tumhari wajah se cancel kar diya. Tum jaisi ladkiyon ko bahut ache se jaanti hoon main. Paise wala ladka dekha nahi ki dum utha kar uske peeche pad jaati ho. Aakhir kitne mardon ko apni khoobsurti ke jaal mein fasaya hai? Kitni giri hui ladki ho yaar...jhooti chot ke bahane mere bhai ko fasane ki koshish kar rahi thi. You are so cheap. Bahar aisi ladkiyon ko bazaru aurat kehte hain pata hai tumhe. Kyunki shareef ghar ki ladkiyan itna gira hua kaam nahi karti."

"Gudiya chup kar...kya bole jaa rahi hai?"

"Aap kuch nahi jaante bhau. Bahut bhole ho aap. Lekin main aisi ladkiyon ko ache se jaanti hoon. Yeh amir ladkon ko fasane ke liye apna imaan tak bech sakti hain. Aisho araam ki zindagi chahiye na inhe isiliye. Ab iski nazar aap par pad gayi toh apne pyaar ke jaal mein aapko fasa rahi hai. Aisi ghatiya aurat toh aurat kehlane ke layak bhi nahi-"

"Ahana!!!" Arjun slapped Ahana across her face. Riya who was silently taking in all the false accusations and crying badly, looked up shocked. "Maine kaha na Riya ke baare mein aur kuch mat bol!"

Ahana was shocked. This was the first time her brother used her full name, let alone slapped her, and that too for a girl. Tears of hurt sprung in her eyes and she looked at Arjun with eyes full of loathing. Her next words made Arjun's world freeze.

"Wah Mr. Rawte. Aaj aapne mujhe maara hai wo bhi iss ladki ke liye. Yeh main zindagi bhar nahi bhoolungi. Aaj ek bhai ne apni behen ke khilaaf kisi aur ka saath diya hai. Don't worry Mr. Rawte aaj ke baad main Ms. Mukherjee ke baare mein kuch nahi bolungi. Jante hain kyun? Kyunki kisiko bhi sirf apno ke matter mein bolne ka haq hota hai. Aur jab yahan koi rishta hi nahi toh main aapki life mein interfere kaise kar sakti hoon. Aaj se humara rishta khatam. Main yeh maan lungi ki mera bhai kabhi tha hi nahi aur aap bhi yeh maan lena ki aapki behen mar gayi. I hate you Mr. Arjun Suryakant Rawte."

Saying this, Ahana stormed out of the house, leaving a broken brother behind her. Arjun's condition worsened. He punched the glass table with the hand that he used to slap his Gudiya. His hand was bleeding badly but the pain of his actions and Ahana's words numbed all the other pains. Riya came forwards and kept a hand on his shoulder. Arjun tightly hugged her and kept repeating two phrases. "I'm sorry usne yeh sab bola." And "Maine apni Gudiya ko humesha ke liye kho diya." Riya's heart broke seeing his condition. She silently tried comforting him but nothing seemed to work. Without exchanging another sentence, he left Riya's house and went to his own.

Ahana never came back home. Arjun's world just shattered all over again and that night he kept thinking of his moments with Ahana. The entire night was consumed with pain. Riya couldn't sleep as Ahana's words kept ringing in her head. She didn't know why Arjun's sister hate her so much and now she became the reason for the fall out of Rawte siblings. Each second of the night felt painfully long for both of them.

Next day, both went to the office with a heavy heart. Arjun was worried as his sister didn't come back home at all. Riya was worried for Arjun because of last night's events. Rathore walked in with a sombre expression.

"Team we have a case."

Only Shree and Chotu were in their senses to ask questions. "Sir kya hua? Why do you look so tensed? Kiska case hai?"

Rathore looked at Arjun with a wary expression. "Don Alpha Mumbai mein aa chuka hai. Hume use aur uski gang ko pakadna hai." Arjun froze.

"Sir, yeh Don Alpha kon hai?"

Rathore sighed almost as if he didn't want to tell them. "Don Alpha, Sikandar ka chota bhai hai."

The reactions were almost immediate. Shree dropped his tab, Chotu fell out of his seat and Riya sat stunned. They all spun around to face Arjun. Arjun's face reflected anger and his hands tightened into fists. Nobody said anything for a while. Arjun composed himself and turned to Rathore. "Toh kya plan hai Rathore?"

Everyone was shocked to see him acting calm and asking Rathore for the plan. Rathore recovered first. "Okay team...information ke hisaab se Don Alpha ki gang outskirts ke band factories mein hai. Hum unpar surprise attack karenge with backup forces. We will leave in the evening. Everyone please be careful as this is the most dangerous mission we've encountered until now."

The team had a determined expression on their faces. They started preparing for the mission and went their separate ways. They knew they could potentially lose their lives but they didn't care. They just wanted to help Arjun get his revenge.

Arjun was in his house when he got a call from an unknown number. "Hello?"

"Kaise ho ACP sahab?"

"Kon bol raha hai?"

"Arey kamal hai...do saal mein aap meri awaaz bhi bhool gaye?"

"Alpha...mujhe call karke tune apni maut ko nyota diya hai."

"Itni jaldi bhi kya hai ACP. Pehle apne iss puarne dushman se baat toh karlo. Vaise ek baat toh manni padegi. Tum Rawte khandan ke genes bade kamal ke hain. Rawte parivaar ne bade khoosurat logon ko janam diya hai. Tumhari behen wakayi mein kamal dikhti hai."

Arjun's anger sky-rocketed. "Haath bhi mat lagana Ahana ko samjha tu kutte."

Someone on the other hand chuckled. "Bahut der ho gayi ACP. Teri behen toh already mere paas hai. Sach mein bahut khoobsurat hai."

"Dekh tu mujhse dobara panga leke achha nahi kar raha hai. Chod de meri behen ko. Tu kya chahta hai?"

"Yeh hui na baat...mujhe kuch khaas nahi chahiye. Bas teri team ki wo female officer, kya naam hai uska, haan Riya...who chahiye mujhe. Suna hai bahut khoobsurat hai. Ek baar use pa loon toh teri behen ko chod dunga."

"Riya na naam bhi apni gandi zubaan se mat le. Aur main tujhe Riya kabhi nahi dunga. Agar meri behen par ek kharoch bhi aayi na toh main tera wo haal karunga jo tu soch bhi nahi sakta."

"Soch lo ACP...time is ticking. Tick-tock tick-tock." Saying this he disconnected the call.

Arjun threw his phone against the wall and let out an angry yell. In the next few minutes, his room was a complete mess. Riya came to his house because they were supposed to go together for the mission. She was shocked to see the condition of the house and Arjun was crying sitting in the middle of the hall. She rushed to him and put a hand on his shoulder. "Arjun sir, kya hua? Aap iss tarah yahan kyun baithe hain?"

Arjun jerked her hand from his shoulder and gripped her tightly by the shoulders. His face showed the pain he was going through. "Kyun Riya kyun? Kyun aayi tum meri zindagi mein? Na tum meri zindagi mein aati aur na hi meri behen ki jaan aaj khatre mein hoti. Khush tha main Roshni ki yaadon ke saath lekin tumne aake sab barbaad kar diya. Kehta tha na dur raho mujhse...toh kyun aayi mere paas? Aaj sirf aur sirf tumhari wajah se Ahana khatre mein hai. Tumhari wajah se maine apni behen par haath uthaya. Uss Don Alpha ne meri Gudiya ko kidnap kar liya hai aur badle mein use tum chahiye ho. Agar Ahana ko kuch bhi hua na toh maine tumhe kabhi maaf nahi karunga. Samjhi tum?"

Riya's heart shattered into million pieces hearing Arjun's words. She wasn't hurt with his words...no...what hurt her was the pain Arjun was going through. She couldn't see her love, her strong cop, so broken and lost. So, she ran out of the house in tears.

Here Arjun realized what he said to Riya. Her tear-stained face kept coming in front of his eyes. He couldn't believe that he just blamed her for his own mistakes. He ran to his room and took out a belt. He started punishing himself with the belt for making his Riya sad. He beat himself up until he had no strength left.

It was evening and the whole ETF reached the factories. Arjun and Riya weren't even looking at each other. The police took their positions and started killing all the goons silently. But Don Alpha was a smart criminal. He soon realized that his men were decreasing in number and started firing at the police. Now, both sides were firing at each other and without them realizing, Riya sneaked in to look for Ahana.

ETF was winning this battle so Don Alpha along with his few trusted people decided to run. Arjun saw his move and followed after him. Here Riya found Ahana tied to a chair so she rescued her and both tried escaping. But before they could move Alpha came there and pointed his gun at them. Arjun also reached the place. "Alpha aaj tu zinda nahi bachega. Chod de Ahana aur Riya ko."

Alpha cackled maniacally. "Bandook ki nok par bhi itne tevar? Tumhari issi ada pe toh hum fida hain ACP. Aur Riya sach mein afvaon jitni hi khoobsurat hai. He looked lustfully at Riya." This pissed Arjun off completely and both started fighting. Alpha's men joined in. They held Arjun and restrained him.

Alpha went to Ahana and Riya with a rod in his hands. He swung the rod and it contacted Riya's arm. Everyone flinched when they heard a cracking sound. Arjun was very mad but in pain because he was completely helpless in saving his love once again. He struggled harder against the goons but with no luck. Alpha laughed seeing his pathetic condition. "Kya hua ACP...sher toh bhiga billa ban gaya. Main yahi tadap dekhne ke liye taras gaya tha."

Arjun eyes met Riya's and they both reflected pain, helplessness and love. "Chod de use Alpha. Teri dushmani mujhse hai." Alpha just ignored him and kept on beating up Riya. Each hit on Riya was a death for Arjun. Arjun kept crying and begging Alpha to stop but nothing happened. Riya collapsed on the ground in a heap of blood. Arjun couldn't bear this any longer. He kept on struggling harder.

Then a flash of gun captured his eyes. He yelled for his sister to run but she was immobile. She was stunned with the things happening around her that she didn't even hear Arjun. Alpha shot 3 bullets in Ahana's direction. "Gudiya!!" Arjun yelled thinking he would lose her. Alpha was enjoying seeing his enemy in pain. A thump caught their attention. Riya's body fell on the ground, unmoving. She came between Ahana and the bullets. Her last thought was 'I love you Arjun' and her eyes closed forever.

Arjun was momentarily shocked. No...No I can't lose my Riya. Nothing happened to her. She's going to be okay. No, she can't leave me just like this. "RIYA!!!" Arjun let out the most heart-breaking wail. He lost. There was no point in living anymore. Sikander and his brother won once again. He looked up just in time to see a rod making contact with Ahana's head. His sister fell beside Riya, motionless.

Now he roared like an injured lion ready for blood. His eyes turned dangerously red and even Alpha was scared shitless. Arjun threw the goons off him and ran straight for Alpha. He beat Alpha mercilessly. Alpha couldn't even get a word out. Arjun didn't realize when Alpha died. He just kept hitting him as Riya's and Ahana's face flashed in front of his eyes. He only stopped when he heard a gunshot. His eyes drooped and he realized that someone shot him. He fell down beside the two most important girls of his life, his eyes closing maybe for forever.

By the time Rathore and team reached the place, only Arjun, Riya, Alpha and his goons were there; all unconscious.

*Flashback ends*

"Aur uske baad jab mujhe hosh aaya toh I was in the hospital. Tum logon ne bataya ki Riya mar chuki hai aur doctors ne kaha ki Gudiya bhi comma mein chali gayi thi."

ETF team was reduced to tears. Nobody could believe that Arjun went through so much for the past 8 months. Shree and Chotu had a new found respect for Arjun. The girls were trying to console Ahana who once again broke down feeling guilty for the pain her brother and Riya suffered. Sameer broke completely seeing his friend so vulnerable. Arjun had a faraway look in his eyes. He mechanically turned to Sameer with emotionless eyes. "Tu sahi kehta tha Sam...main jise apna manta hoon, usi ki jaan le leta hoon. Manhoos hoon main."

His words were like knives in Sameer's heart. He felt guilty for always hurting his best friend who always loved Sameer like his own brother. He hated himself for not seeing the pain his friend was going to. He was about to say something when the doctor came in.

"Mr. Rawte, chamatkar ho gaya hai. Ms. Mukherjee ko hosh aa gaya hai."
