Author's note -finally I am here with first shot of this ts, but before that read its prologue.
SHOT 1
Adi hugged ishita tight and said -please ma'am, meri mumma ban jaiye naa. Waise bhi meri mumma nahi hai, aur mujhe Aap bahut pasand bhi hai. Toh please meri mumma ban jaiye, ma'am. He said hugging ishita more tightly when she winced in pain.
Raman went to them and said -adi, chot lagi hai naa ma'am ko. Let her rest. He said breaking the hug of ishdi.
Adi broke the hug and said -sorry ma'am, Main aapko pareshan nahi karunga but please meri mumma ban jaiye.
Ishita look at four years old adi and then at Raman. Then she look at her parent who were looking at her with an expectation to hear her say yes.
Ishita -can I talk to u in private?? She asked and Raman nodded in yes.
Raman -adi beta, baahar dadi hai. U go to her, papa abhi aaye.
Adi -ok papa, he said and was going when he turn and went to ishita. He hugged her again but this time bit softly and said -please meri mumma ban jaiyega.
Ishita just smiled in between the pain and adi went out.
Ishita look at her parent and said -amma, appa, please.
Amma -hume rehne do kanna.
Ishita -amma please ,I want to talk with mr bhalla in private.
Amma was about to say something when appa stopped her and take her out.
Amma -why u bring me here vishwa. Ishu mana kar degi after all this aur sach mein phir koi nahi aayega usse apnane. Meri kanna hamesha akele reh jayegi. Usne toh bas uss bachche ka bhala chaha tha phir kyun ho raha hai uske saath aisa. She was saying when she heard, uske saath kuch bura nahi hoga.
Amma -appa look at the direction and saw an elderly couple standibg there with adi.
Adi -yeh mere dadu -dadi hai.
Amma -appa greet them when Toshiji said -aapki beti ke saath galat nahi hoga. Hum hone nahi denge. Usne meri bachche, mere ghar ke chiraag ko bachaya hai. We were ready to bear all the expenses of her treatment but after hearing about her would husband breakinf the marriage. Raman decided to marry her to insure her future.raman ne agar Ek baar decide kar liya toh woh karke hi rahega. He will convince ur daughter, Aap log pareshan mat hoiye. Ishita hamare ghar ki hi bahu banegi.
Amma smiled meekly and said -agar kal tak koi mujhe kehta apni beti ki shaadi ek bachche ke baap se karwane ko toh shayad main kabhi raazi nahi hoti. But now I want ur son to hold my daughter's hand forever, warna koi uska haath nahi thamega. She said crying while Toshiji just consoled her.
In the room,
Ishita was sitting on the bed while Raman was on the couch. He was waiting for her to say something but when she didn't said anything for long he finally said -u wanted to talk.
Ishita -kya soch kar aapne yeh decision liya??
Raman -i thought this is best for u.
Ishita -aap hote kaun hai mere liye decision lene wale.
Raman -koi nahi.
Ishita -then stop taking decision for me. Main maanti hoon ki meri haalat bahut kharab ho gayi hai but still I don't want anyone mercy.
Raman -main daya nahi kar raha.
Ishita -toh kya kar rahe hai, do we love each other. Love chodiye, do we even know each other. Kaise shaadi kar sakte hai hum??
Raman -kyunki tumhari shaadi tut gayi hai, just because u saved my son. U injured urself for adi ,toh it's my moral responsibility to take care of u.
Ishita -main responsibility nahi banna chahti kisi ki. Main biwi banna chahti hoon. Joh ki main kabhi nahi ban paaungi aapki, infact kisi ki bhi. Joh bhi mujhse shaadi karega, out of pity karega. And I don't want to anyone mercy.
Raman -i do understand ur situation miss iyer, but sach kahun toh mujhe koi aur raasta nahi dikh raha. Aapne mere bachche ki jaan bachayi aur badle mein aapke saath yeh hua. U got injured so badly that ur fiance broke the marriage. I want to support u in ur hard time and there is no other way to support u other then marrying u. Main chahta toh aapki treatment ka pura kharcha de kar apni haath jhad leta. But agar Maine aisa kiya toh selfish kehlaunga. Kyunki joh aapne khoya hai uska mol paise se nahi hai. U lost ur beauty, aapka Chehra jal gaya ,haan thoda saa but still ur face got burn and almost half upper body in saving adi from that dangerous fire. Aur aapne sirf apna chehra nahi, apna rishta, apna self confidence sab kho diya. I just want to be with u in getting back all. Main jaanta hoon aapki bahut expectation hogi apne hone wale pati se, aur shayad main uss picture mein thik naa baithun, as I am a widower and father of a child. But I promise u, I will always stand beside u and protect u from every problem.main tumhari takleef kam toh nahi kar sakta but I promise, koi bhi takleef tumhe akele jhelni nahi padegi. I will stand by u. He was telling her while she was just looking at him.
Seeing her not responding, he asked -kya soch rahi ho??
Ishita -subbu was my fiance, we spend three months of courtship bit he didn't took even a second to break this marriage and my heart too. Aur ek Aap hai, aapka mera koi rishta nahi. Shayad aaj se pehle humne thik se baat bhi nahi ki and u came to stand by me, protect me. Haan adi ke liye but still aisa har koi nahi karta. Agar aap mujhe aise hi chod dete, bas ek thank u keh kar phir bhi main kuch nahi kehti but iss tarah mujhe support karke, u made a special place in my heart, Mr bhalla. I am ready for marriage but main phir se aapse kehna chahti hoon. Yeh burn bahut deep hai aur shayad kabhi thik naa ho. Shayad main hamesha aisi hi badsurat reh jaun. Yeh sab soch kar shaadi ke liye raazi hoiyega.
Raman -maine sab soch liya hai, bas mujhe tumhara answer chahiye. Will u marry me. He said forwarding his hand while she nodded smiling. Raman smiled and said -jaldi se thik ho jao, main baraat laane ki taiyaari karta hoon.
Ishita -baraat??hum court marriage nahi kar sakte??
Raman -ofcourse kar sakte hai, but tum apne parent ki eklauti beti ho, I think unki bhi bahut hi khwahishein hongi. U shouldn't opt for court marriage breaking their heart. Kyunki meri dusri but tumhari pehli shaadi hai, and i wish it to be last. He said smiling making her smile too.
They were looking at each other when nurse came in and said -injection aur medicine dena hai. Raman nodded and she filled the syringe. Ishita looked away in fear making Raman realise that she is scared of injection. He hold her hand for support and nurse gave her injection. Ishita hold his hand tightly wincing in pain.
Then nurse gave her medicine and said -have this and rest.
Raman gave her water and help her to take medicine. He adjusted her pillow and said -u rest while I go and make arrangements for our marriage.
Ishita nodded and slept in no time while Raman went out to tell everyone about her agreeing for marriage and also to arrange for their marriage.
