Whoa! Is this how much Priyanka Chopra is getting paid for Bharat?

For the last two years, Priyanka Chopra has been busy making a name for herself in the West. Now that she is finally returning to home turf with Ali Abbas Zafar's Bharat, she wants to settle for nothing less than what she deserves.

Priyanka is taking home a hefty paycheck for the film. She will be paid a whopping Rs 12 crore for her Bollywood comeback opposite Salman Khan.

This puts Priyanka at par with Deepika Padukone, who is currently the highest-paid actress in Bollywood. According to an insider, Deepika was paid Rs 12 crore for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat, and Priyanka agreed on the same figure for Ali Abbas Zafar's film.

Buzz is that Priyanka's team had initially quoted a fee of Rs 14 crore, given her current market rate, but keeping the industry standards in mind, settled for Rs 12 crore.
