Guys, I'm so sorry to keep y'all waiting for so many days. But then, all's well that end's well! Finally update kr rhi hu. Please like and comment, criticism bhi chalega! I haven't proof read, so kindly ignore the errors.
Part 5
Naina came to office with a happy smile and the moment she spotted Swati, she pulled her into a bone crashing hug. "Happy birthday" she wished Swati and handed her a bar of dark chocolate, her favourite.
"Bas ek chocolate deke nipta rhi h!" Swati faked anger, while tearing the wrapper of the chocolate.
"Abhi tera birthday khatam kahan hua h" Naina winked at her while excitement shone in Swati's eyes. "Accha bata, Munna ne kya gift diya ab tak?" Naina asked while sitting on her chair.
"Gift chhod, ab tak wish bhi nhi kiya" Swati replied sadly and sat on her chair with a pout.
"It's OK. Ladko ko nhi yaad rehta. Unse expect hi nhi krna chahiye. Jab yaad ayega tab wish krne dega aur gift bhi de dega, dekhna" Naina assured her n gave a sweet smile. Swati too smiled.
"Kya pata usne surprise plan kiya ho!" Preeti jumped in. Swati's spirits were lifted, "Ho sakta h.. Wo zarur surprise plan kr rha hoga."
"Waise, tu kahan se aa rhi h?" asked Naina, seeing some 4-5 files in Preeti's hands. Preeti huffed, "Tere respected boss ne di h. Ek din chhutti kya le li, ye to roz extra kaam pakda dete h." she put the files on her desk while Naina shook her head.
"Tujhe kabhi gussa nhi ata unpe?" Preeti asked irritated, making Naina and Swati giggle.
"Nhi, kyuki main unse behes krne k bajay apna kaam krti hu. Aur tu uska ulta krti h" Naina said and Preeti gave a whatever look.
There, in his office, Sameer was working on a presentation when he saw Hema approaching. He tried to pretend as if he didn't see her.
"Dekh kr bhi andekha kr rhe ho!" she said as she stood in front of him, crossing her arms.
"Main tumhe dekh k andekha kyu krunga. Main to kaam kr rha hu" Sameer said casually, not looking away from his laptop screen.
"Hmm.. By the way, Naina kaisi h?" she started. Sameer had a confused look, "Wo thik h, kyu?"
"Nhi wo, kal wo tumhe aise achanak se le gyi.. To mujhe laga uski tabiyat thik nhi hogi" she trailed off while Sameer raised his brows.
"Oh, nhi nhi.. Wo bilkul thik h" he had a fake smile on his face. "Tumne ye nhi socha ki main akeli ghar kaise jaungi?" she said as she leaned against his desk.
Sameer chuckled, "tum chabi hote hue bhi car mein nhi jana chah rhi thi, to mujhe laga auto se jane ka man hoga tumhara! Anyways, mujhe sir ne bulaya h, so excuse me!" with that, Sameer walked towards the manager's cabin, leaving behind an embarrassed Hema.
Sameer came back from his office and saw Naina sitting with Shalu aunty. "Tum bahar kyu baithi ho?" he asked as he moved towards both the ladies.
"Tumhara hi wait kr rhi thi ye. Tum dono sath mein kyu nhi aye aaj?" Shalu aunty asked while Naina controlled her irritation.
"Aunty, mujhe pata tha main late ho jaunga, to maine Naina se kaha tha ki wo jaldi aa jaye. So khamakha mera wait krti office k bahar" he made up an excuse.
"To kya biwi ko akele ane ko keh doge!" Shalu aunty said while Naina was surprised at her concern for her. She wasn't that bad, thought Naina.
But then, Shalu aunty turned to Naina, "Aur isne keh diya to tum aa bhi gyi, pati ka wait krne se chhoti hi jaogi kya" she was back to her self. Naina rolled her eyes. She will never change, thought Naina.
"I'm sorry, aunty" muttered Sameer and Shalu aunty left. He, along with Naina, went to their room.
Naina had changed into her night dress while Sameer wore a jeans and white T-shirt. Naina looked up from the book she was reading, and saw him in front of the mirror, emptying his new perfume on him.
"Itni raat ko perfume mein naha k kahan ja rhe ho?" she asked looking at her book again.
"Ohho, wife wale lakshan!" he immediately turned towards her, "Munna k sath ja rha hu. Party krne. Don't worry, ladkiyan nhi hongi" he teased her.
"As if I care!" she scoffed, but a second later, she looked up again at him, "Ek minute, Munna tumhare sath ja rha h!"
"Haan" Sameer shrugged.
"Lekin use to Swati k sath hona chahiye is waqt. After all, uska birthday h aaj" she closed the book and placed it on the bed.
"Aaj Swati ka birthday h!" Sameer exclaimed. "Haan, don't tell me wo Swati ka birthday bhul gya" she got up and walked up to him.
"Ruko, main puchta hu use" he immediately dialed Munna's number and he answered. "Kahan h tu?" he asked Munna, without even replying to his hello.
"Nikal rha hu bhai, itni kya jaldi h!" Munna was in completely in a party mood.
"Apni girlfriend ka birthday bhul gya gadhe!" he yelled and Munna almost dropped his phone.
"Bhai aaj 31st h.. Oh no! Ab Swati mujhse kabhi baat nhi kregi. Kuch kr bhai" he was getting tensed and was panicking. Sameer too sat on the bed with his head in his palms.
"Time waste kyu kr rhe ho, jaldi uske liye koi gift le ke jao" Naina yelled. Sameer asked Munna if he had some gift for Swati, but Munna didn't have anything to gift her.
"Hey bhagwan, carelessness ki bhi hadd hoti h!" Naina said with her hands on her hips. "Is waqt to kuch milega bhi nhi" she started pacing around the room.
As an idea struck her, she snatched the phone from Sameer. "Munna, tumhare ghar pe maida, baking powder aur vanilla essence hoga?" she asked him while both the boys were confused.
"Wo sab kya hota h?" Munna asked innocently. Naina face-palmed and replied, "Arey, fridge mein dekho..baking powder ka dibba hoga. Aur vanilla essence ek chhoti si kaach ki bottle mein hoga, mila?" she instructed him, while Munna searched for them in his fridge.
"Mil gye dono. Par maida?" he asked and Naina pursed her lips, thinking of a way to define maida.
"Aate k dibbe k paas hoga koi dibba jisme white colour ka aata hoga, wohi shayad maida hoga" Munna did as Naina said. "Kuch mila to h, lekin maida h ya nhi, ye nhi pata"
"Wo maida hi hoga. Tum wo sab nikal k rakho, hum aa rhe h" she cut the call and took her jacket and mobile, and was walking towards the door, but stopped seeing Sameer still rooted to his spot.
"Chalo.. Mahurat dekh rhe ho kya!" Sameer nodded and followed her with the keys of his car and their room.
Guys, this is it for today. I know zyada kuch nhi tha is update mein, but it was very long.. So gussa nhi hona koi bhi, OK!
