Ishita was resting on the bed having mehendi on both her hand when she felt wetness on her hand. She opened her eyes and saw toshiji applying some liquid in her hand.
Ishita -yeh kya hai maa??
Toshiji -sugar syrup hai, isse teri mehendi ka rang gehra chadega. Waise toh I know ki rang gehra hi chadega as raman loves u alot but still main koi kasar nahi chodna chahti.
Ishita smiled while her eyes got moist and a tear fell on toshiji's hand. Toshiji look at ishita and said -kya hua puttar, why u r crying??
Ishita -kuch nahi maa, bas amma ko yaad aa gayi. Jab woh mari thi, toh main itni choti thi ki unke baare mein kuch yaad bhi nahi hai. But I know for sure ki itna pyaar Aap mujhse karti hai, shayad woh bhi nahi kar paati. Thank u maa for loving me so much.
Toshiji -bahut badi ho gayi hai naa, Itni badi badi baatein karne lagi hai. Maa ko thanks bolti hai. Pagal Kahin ki, teri amma nahi hai toh kya hua, Main hoon naa teri maa, hamesha ke liye. And u r my daughter only. Koi nahi wahu nahi banne wali. Samjhi tu.she said to which ishita just nodded.
Toshiji kissed her temple and said -chal, ab aaram kar. Shaam ko tera sangeet hai aur tujhe dj bhi banna hai. She said smiling to which ishita too smiled. Toshiji applied mehendi to her hand and went smiling.
Soon it was evening, Ishra got ready wearing royal blue colour sherwani and lehenga. Both came hand in hand and settled on the chairs while Raj and candy started the function. At first Raj and candy danced, after them Raj's parent danced.
After their dance, ishita went to the stage and said -hi everyone, as u all know I am the bride, so being the bride my maa-papa gave me permission to become dj for tonight. Toh aaj ki dj main hoon, so I will play song for everyone and all had to dance on it, no nautanki that I can't dance, OK. She said to which all nodded.
At first she called Mr and Mrs bhalla and played the song, banjaa tu meri rani. Mr bhalla started dancing on the song happily while Toshiji was being shy and reluctant.
Ishita -maa nachiye naa.
Toshiji -iss gaane par,nahi.
Ishita -please naa maa, for me.
Mr bhalla -kariye naa toshiji, yeh mauka phir nahi aayega. He said and Toshiji too started dancing. They were dancing while everyone was enjoying.
After Mr and Mrs bhalla, ishita called appa. She played the song bachna ae haseeno for him. He glared ishita while she made a baby pout pleading to dance.
Appa smiled and danced few steps on it making everyone hoot for him. Ishita was clapping loudly making Raman smile. After appa, she called raman.
Raman -seeing ur song choices, I don't think dancing is a good idea. I am better here only.
Ishita -what happy, u r such a spoil sport, aaiye naa. Main aapko achcha gaana dungi ,I promise. She said pinching her neck.he couldn't deny her cute pout and went while she smirked and played the song, joru ka ghulam.
Raman -i knew it, tu kuch aisa hi karne wali hai. But u know what, I don't mind. As I will be actually a joru ka ghulam. He said and start dancing while ishita just blushed on his remark while all clapped for him.
He danced well in the song and pulled ishita to himself as the song ended. Raman signalled towards Raj and he played another song. Raman made ishita turn and start dancing on the song, bol naa halke halke.
Ishita too start dancing with him and both enjoyed the dance .all clapped for the heavenly couple while Ishra joined their foreheads at last. All clapped aloud for them admiring them.
Soon the function ended and all went to their house. Ishita slept in the way only feeling tired. Raman wrapped his arms around her giving her his warmth.
Soon they reached home and Raman took ishita inside scooping her in his arms. Raman made her sleep next to toshiji and, toshiji told them not to sleep together till their marriage.
Very soon all changed and went to sleep.
Next morning, everyone got up and start getting ready for haldi function. Ishita took bath and was searching for clothes when her eyes fell on a yellow packet. She opened it and saw a yellow saree in it along with jewelleries made of fresh yellow flowers with a note. She smiled and opened the note, it reads,
Made this with much effort specially for u, I will feel good if u wear it.
Ur happy
Ishita smiled and kissed the note. She went and got ready wearing the Saree. She was about to wore the jewelleries but then thought otherwise and went to Raman's room. He was combing his hair wearing a yellow kurta pyjama.
She hugged him from back and said -thank u happy for such lovely gift.
Raman smiled and asked turning to her -u liked it??
Ishita -bahut.
Raman -then why u didn't wore it??
Ishita -coz I want u to make me wear it. She said forwarding the jewelleries.
Raman nodded and start making her wear the flower jewelleries while she was feeling goosebumps with his touch.
Raman made her wear the earrings and said -aaj pehna raha hoon, kal utarunga bhi main hi. He said smiling making her blush. He made her wear the waistband kissing her navel, then tie her dori. Soon she was all ready.
Raman kissed her forehead and said -chalein.
She nodded and both went out for haldi ceremony.
Toshiji made Ishra sit side by side while their haldi function was about to start.
Raman was busy in admiring her while she was blushing continuously feeling her gaze.
After a while Toshiji came with the bowl of haldi and said -here is the haldi, chalo rasam shuru ki jaaye.
Everybody nodded and Toshiji took bowl to ishita and said -pehle tu lagaa raman ko.
Ishita -main maa, yeh toh aapka haq hai naa??
Toshiji -haan puttar, but Maine bahut pehle hi apne saare haq tujhe de diye hai and now I want u two to do everything for each other, toh tum dono ko pehli haldi bhi tum dono hi lagaoge. She said to which ishita nodded and applied a little haldi to Raman.
Raman smiled a little and pecked her hand taking in his making her blush. he touched his cheek and took out a little haldi .he applied that to her cheek doing the shagun and then all started applying haldi to Ishra. They made raman remove the kurta and tore his vest in applying haldi, soon the function turned into a playground and all started throwing and applying haldi to each other enjoying thourougly.
