Next day morning,when the bright rays of sun lit their room, she gently opened her eyes nd found her hubby in deep slumber hugging her tightly nd he looked as innocent as a child. She admired him remembering his words that he said last night. She started tracing her index finger on his forehead, his cute eyelids, chiselled cheek bone, sharp nose..nd when it traced his lips,he pecked it immediately and slowly opened his eyes.
Good morning mamma mehak , he said while pecking her forehead. Very good morning akdu papa she replied while nuzzling his nose. It's time for ur morning sprint, she said while trying to get rid of his tight hold. Well, am not in a mood today jaan, let us sleep for some more time..he said while cuddling. U hav become too lazy nowadays, no more excuses ..shaurya wake up na..she said while getting rid of his hold stealthily. He partially closed his eyes and kept a pillow on his ear ignoring her blabber. She got annoyed with his actions nd thought for a minute. She kept a hand on her tummy nd said..am sorry baby, see you have got such a lazy father...hmm what to do..u should not be lazy like him..ok.. Nd when u"ll meet him call him lazy papa ..ok.. . Shaurya kept on listening to her talks..but he did'nt move. And haan baby I m really sorry that when you"ll grow up , ur frnds would be teasing u..calling ur dad lazy..she said with a naughty smirk. Shaurya couldn't take it anymore. He got up from the bed, Oh meri maa..now plz stop this drama.. Am going for jog..okk..he said while folding his palms...
Later they got freshened up, had their breakfast and left for hospital. Dr: Congratulations Mr &Mrs Khanna. Your baby is one month old . There is nothing to worry. I've prescribed your medicines. Nd you should not miss any checkups... They thanked the doctor and left for KM.
After 4months,
Mehak was now 5 months pregnant , nd she got a cute baby bump. Shaurya nd others took great care of her all these months. She didn't had any mood swings before. But now at this stage of pregnancy, she found herself experiencing a gradual change physically as well as mentally. She craved for spicy and tangy cuisines. ..shaurya see am not able to wear all those favourite dresses of mine. I have put on some more weight..she complained to him with a pout. He was sitting on the chair near his study. He signalled her to come near him and made her sit on his lap. Ok.. Now what's the problem u want new dresses right. Will do online shopping and get u some beautiful and comfortable maternity wears..he said while taking his laptop. After the shopping was done, she kissed his cheek thanking him, nd got up from his lap. Oh man.. I think my legs are gone...he said intending to tease her. She made an angry pout, nd started beating him with a pillow..he ran all over the room teasing her continuously. Suddenly she stopped for a moment nd sat on the bed holding her baby bump. An exhausted shaurya approached her, nd questioned her with his eyebrows. Baby has kicked shaurya,she said with pure excitement. What? Really?...he asked her excitedly nd he gently caressed her baby bump and kissed there lightly. She had a heavenly feeling with his gesture...And they spent some good time together.
Days passed on nd she started throwing tantrums. Sometimes he found it very difficult to handle her mood swings...still he won't miss any chance for teasing her. A baby shower function was arranged and the whole KM was decorated beautifully. All the guests blessed the duo and gifted them. She was dressed like a princess nd he couldn't take his eyes off her. He was winking at her as well as throwing flying kisses. She rolled her eyes nd kept ignoring him. He got annoyed,nd thought of doing something to grab her attention. He went nd sat near her, she didn't look at him. Aawara..plz give me a motti(fat)choor laddoo he said while glaring at her. It's moti(pearl) choor, she corrected him. I know it jaan , but what to do when I see laddoo, I remember your face and you are motti (fat) right na? He said while pulling her cheeks. She pouted angrily and hit him with her elbow. Ok baby ...relax ..he said something to divert her attention and stealthily ran from there...
After two months, she was in her 7th month. Sharma's requested karuna to take mehak along with them. Don't ask me, plz ask your son in law, don't know whether he"ll be willing or not...replied Kmaa. Shaurya was standing their annoyingly. It's cent percent sure from his expression that he will not agree.. Kanta chachi added. Am sorry chachi, I can't live without mehak...he reciprocated emotionally. No prblm son,chachi said while patting his shoulder. He got relieved nd said whenever u wanna see her u can come here or I"ll bring her. Sharmaas hugged nd thanked him nd left. Later that night ..shaurya was watching football match..leaning his head onto bed rest, while she was reading some book. When she finished her reading ..she tried to grab the remote and changed the channel nd starting watching cricket. .. See mehak I wanna watch this match..you r all day home right? U can watch the hlts tomorrow.. Now give me the remote ..he pleaded. No way , baby also likes cricket , right baby? She said while caressing her baby bump. Oh really? What confirmation did baby gave u, that she likes cricket?..haan.. He asked naughtily. Confirmation ...confirmation.. When I changed the channel, he kicked me.. She said victoriously. He bursted out into laughter... Oh stupid girl, she kicked because she likes football..he teased her. ..wait why u addressed my baby girl as 'he', you forgot the scanning reports...pity on you goluu mummy..he teased..she pouted angrily nd throwed the remote onto him calling him khadoos...
After 2 more months
It's her 9th month. She had became an expert in throwing tantrums now. Shaurya turned from khadoos kumar...to caring kumar. It was 12:am, shaurya wake up na..she said while shaking him. Now what mehak..he asked in between his sleep. I'm not able to sleep shaurya, she said cutely. Itna khaawogi toh neend kahaan se aayegi( If u eat heavily then how will you get sleep)..he replied in between his sleep. No shaurya am feeling hungry now..she said with a pout. Whatt? He said while getting up really annoyed. Why r u reacting this way haan? Your baby girl is asking not me.. She replied with a sheepish smile. Ok ..ok come with me..now don't eat my ears.. He said pleadingly. Just few more days..after that my daughter will take my revenge from u..he commented..
Days passed. Mehak's water broke. She got labor pain and was taken immediately to hospital. She couldn't take up the pain nd was crying endlessly. He kept on consoling her. He couldn't control his tears and he too shed his tears, seeing her condition. He kissed her forehead and she was taken to the OT. He waited outside the OT nd was feeling restless.
They were blessed with a baby girl...nd he couldn't control his happiness. He was jumping out of joy... While the hospital staff were laughing at his antics. He went inside the room, nd found his lovely wife holding their bundle of joy. He ran to them nd showered both mom and daughter with kisses. He thanked mehak for completing his life. And she thanked him for filling her life with joy and happiness. He genlty took their baby in his arms...she looks like u mehak..he commented. The whole family members arrived nd congratulated the duo... He used to spend all day at the hospital with his cute family. He would try to wake up his baby girl...and complaints to mehak that she is sleeping always. She is just like you mehak, she would have food while sleeping also..he teased mehak. While she rolled her eyes.
After few days mehrya reached back KM with their baby. They recieved a warm welcome from all...
