I am a classical singer and I love to sing songs which have meaning and connects to my soul. In the current bollywood not a single song is made for singers. You can dance on that song but you cannot sing. Item numbers are the worst thing that have happened to the music industry. The singers don't get an opportunity to explore. Their voice sees no improvement.
I love Shreya Ghoshal, rahmaan sir, sonu nigam but the new singers fulfill the demand of the people and there voices are hardly recognized. I can understand what Sikander gone through when he was asked to sing item number.
