2 Years Later...

"Time flies but not memories"

It was same in the case of mahek , she tried best not to miss Shaurya or remember him but the moment she closed her eyes his face will be infront of her. ..it looked like it's just yesterday she had seen him for the last time going away from her life ..as promised he left the city next week day and no one was aware where he was ...Mahek kept herself busy with NGO's work and started spending more time with orphanage kids...

Kids hurry up we are getting late mahek shouted ...she had planned up to take them on a one week trip to Uttarakhand , Madam it's a huge responsibility do you think we will be able to manage 20 kids her secretary Tina questioned...Mahek just nodded her head ...they are very matured iam sure they will be more responsible mahek added and assured Tina that together they will take care of the kids ...

After travelling for the whole day finally they reached a small town in Uttarakhand.,.. it was among the most serene places to see in Uttarakhand...the place had beautiful mountains and waterfalls ...they all stayed at a beautiful heritage house , after taking rest for the whole night they went out for sightseeing ...all the kids were well mannered except 5 year old Rahul ...he was the most mischievous among all...Mahek had pampered him alot ...He started running around the place as soon as they reached the place...Mahek caught him and warn him not to run so fast as it's a hilly area and not Delhi ...they moved near a big waterfall ...Mahek was mesmerized by the beauty of the place...she started clicking pictures and she realized that Rahul was missing... everyone started to search him and suddenly they heard a voice...Help ..Help ..Rahul was shouting holding a branch ...he went near the waterfall and his foot slipped and he lost his balance and fell in the waterfall... luckily he holded a branch else he would have drowned in water ... Everyone started screaming for help after finding Rahul hanging on a branch...and out of no where a man in his mid twenties came their and jumped tying a rope around his waist...No one was able to see his face as he was wearing a hoodie ...he was able to reach Rahul ...he pulled him towards upside , they almost reached the top and he was holding a slippery edge of a mountain which was covered with moss for support...he pushed the boy and tried handing it the people who were gathered...Mahek and Tina bended to hold Rahuls hand and the man lifted his face... Shauryaaa Mahek was almost shocked to see him their... Shaurya looked at her ...Mahekkk even he was equally shocked...his hand slipped as a part of the edge was broked and he landed on the same branch again...while he was falling his shoulder and head was badly got injured by a heavy rock...Mahek screamed his name on top of her lungs... passerby gathered and helped out to pull Shaurya back and he fainted on the ground...one of them said doctor sahab ko bahut chooth aayi hai inhy haspatal lejana padega ...they took him to hospital and mahek went along with them asking Tina to take back kids to the heritage house and she will join them later ..

When they reached the hospital mahek saw a big board and read the hospital name ...M.S Hospital , Attenders came and took Shaurya for the treatment...Mahek went to reception and informed him that she is along with him and she will be paying for the expenses...she tooked out her card and forwarded it to the staff member...Madam it's not needed it's his own hospital she replied sweetly...how do you know sir ? She questioned...Mahek was blank for sometime and she left the counter without saying anything...she went and sat outside the ward where doctors were treating Shaurya...She looked out of the window and she can see the hospital board name from their...she remembered how she used to spoil all his books cover page by writing MS in a heart and he used to scold her...she was in her own thoughts when a nurse came and handed her his belongings and informed her that they have shifted him to room .. Mahek stood to go inside and suddenly few of his things fell out of her hands...Mahek bended to gather things and she found his wallet open...she looked at her picture of their childhood inside his wallet , she spread a thumb on pic and unknowingly tears rolled down from her eyes...

Mahek slowly entered the ward and Shaurya was resting closing his eyes... what are you doing here he questioned without opening his eyes ..I ...I just came here yesterday with orphanage kids and today this incident happened...she went closer to...Thank you Shaurie , thank you for saving his life , she said handing him his belongings , he starred at his wallet and than looked at her...he quickly took it from her hands and hid it under the pillow... you are hiding as if their is some treasure inside it. ...he just kept quiet without replying anything and just than nurse entered with a tray to give him cold massage on his shoulder...Mahek took the tray from her hands saying she will give him a massage ...she removed few buttons of his shirt ...are you sure you can do it?? Shaurya questioned...yeah I think I can after all

I have studied medicines for 5 years but unfortunately couldn't practice as a doctor she replied with a sigh and started giving him massage...so how long you are staying here ? Mahek questioned while giving a massage...since the time I left Delhi ..he answered , I thought you must have gone back to some foreign country and working in some multi speciality hospital...but here you have built your own hospital in a place which is almost cut out from the bigger cities ...he smiled and was about to reply her when his phone rang...Mahek could see a display name as girlfriend...her hands suddenly started shaking and she distanced a bit from him... Shaurya answered the phone...the girl on the other end was shouting at him that he couldn't take proper care of himself...Jaan please calm down ..it's not good for your health to take so much stress in this condition...mahek gulped a glass of water in anger when she listened he was calling someone else as Jaan...and her mind was running in all directions thinking what condition he is talking about...Look you don't have to come here and I will be their at home after taking the discharge...but she didn't listened anything and hung up the phone saying she will be there in sometime...mahek was trying hard not to react but suddenly glass fell down from her hands ..are you okay Shaurya asked her and tried to read her mind...she had sweat all over her face ...yeah yeah iam fine , she replied and moved towards him...a attender came and cleaned the mess ...she started massaging him ...so you have moved on ?? She questioned ...her questioned startled him and he now understood why she was behaving strangely...Hmm yeah I had to ...I needed someone in my life and coincidentally she shares your name too..he replied with a smile ...Mahek used all her force while doing the massage listening to his words , Aahhh he winced in pain...Mahek what are you doing ?? Sorry she replied...So you love her ??? She questioned ...Hmm who won't love her , I think once you meet her even you will fall in love with her ...she is almost a Xerox copy of yours...he replied trying to suppress his laugh...she throwed away the towel aside and holded his collar ...So Mr Khanna it was so easy for you to move on ...and if you had moved on than what the hell that photo doing in your wallet and why did you kept this hospital name as MS ?? She demanded the answer...after ages he was seeing her old authoritative friend in her... earlier he used to get irked with her questions but now he was loving it ...he didn't replied anything just kept staring at her...May I come in .. their trance broked when they both heard a voice of girl in her mid twenties ...I hope iam not disturbing you Shaurya ...she said while coming inside the room...Mahek was just staring at her without a blink ...she was wearing a apron means definitely she is his colleague and the same girl whom he has fallen for ...she scanned her from top to bottom... what did Shaurya find in this bandariya ?? and from which angle she looks like me ...she was fussing quietly in her mind and Shaurya can easily understand what she must be thinking and he was enjoying the situation...arey nahi .. actually we were talking about you only ...haina mahek ?? He looked at mahek and questioned...she nodded her head and replied...I think I should leave now she replied while trying to pick her bag ...You want to leave so early mahek ?? I thought you will stay here to learn more about my girlfriend...Mahek gave a faint smile and looked with disgust at the female doctor...Jitna milna tha mil chuki ..iam not interested to know anything more about her ..she said and walked out and suddenly she bumped with a little girl at the door ...Awww sorry aunty ...girl replied rubbing her head and she ran towards Shaurya shouting boyfrienddd and rained his face with kisses ..Ahh girlfriend aaram se it hurts... Shaurya said holding his arm...little girl holded her ears and said sorry ...Mahek kept on staring at them with a confused look ...Baby don't shout it's hospital and attender will come and send you out of the place... female doctor told the little girl..she jumped on the floor and kept her hands on her waist..Dr Archie .who will take me out of this hospital? It's my boyfriend's hospital and no one will dare to even touch mahek ...else my boyfriend will break their bones ..haina boyfriend??? She looked at Shaurya and questioned... Ofcourse I will he replied... okay okay baby... who can argue with you and your boyfriend...I think I should take a leave now ...I just came to see you are fine or not... Archie said ...iam fine now ab meri mahek aagayi hai na ...she will take care of me ...he said looking at mahek , ofcourse iam here for you... little mahek replied and sat back on bed ... Archie left and mahek gave a death glare to Shaurya and he just winked at her ...

After few hours little mahek slept resting her head on Shaurya's chest and he was caressing her hairs ...Mahek stayed back and she informed Tina that it will be late for her to come back ...Mahek sat beside them and questioned who is she ?? Don't tell me you are jealous of her also ...he said with a laugh while resting her back on the hospital bed...I wasn't jealous shaurie,...Woh toh I thought...you thought Archie is my girlfriend...he said and started laughing again...Mahek looked annoyingly at him and than she starred at him for few minutes he had never laughed like this whole heartedly before...he hardly use to smile...You look good when you laugh like this ..she said softly...Hmm she had teached me so many things in this two years and I could make my life meaningful because of her ...he said caressing the girls hairs ...She was my first patient when I came here ..I kept a camp here and was treating patients and she came with some breathing problem... after conducting some tests I came to know that she has a whole in heart ...and later I came to know it's heridatory ...her parents died in young age as they were sick and didn't got a proper treatment and in this area most of the people die young ... because of lack of medical facilities...they have to go to big cities for treatment and few couldn't afford it hence they decide to stay back and fight with their disease...After first few weeks I have advised her grandmother about some hospital in Shimla and was trying to leave the place...when she holded my hand and asked me to stay back as she didn't want to die young... I want you to treat me ... please stay back here...she requested...That moment I realized she is more like you ..But bachaa here their are no facilities... I told her ..than arrange for it...just think if you stay back how many life's you can save ...I just sat back and thought about it ...my life was anyway meaningless... so I thought to stay back here. ..it really took long to build this hospital and than I treated her here... thankfully the operation was successful he said kissing the girls forehead...after few months her grandmother died ...since than she is staying with me...I was away with you but somewhere you were connected with me ...Mahek kept her head on his shoulder...Iam sorry Shaurya you have faced so much because of me ..she said while crying...A nurse came their to give a flower bouquet..soon the whole room was filled with flowers and get well soon notes ...a large group of locals entered the room to enquire about his health..they all were his patients...they blessed him and prayed for his quick recover and left after sometime...Mahek eyes were filled with tears...I think you have taken a correct decision by choosing your studies over me...today iam so proud of you she said hugging him tightly ... Shaurya was quite.. don't know if it was right or wrong but it's past now ...iam happy that you don't hate me anymore...he said keeping a hand on her face...

Both Mahek stayed back with him in hospital in the night and in the morning Tina came their with all the orphanage kids ...Madam are you sure about your decision ? Tina questioned Mahek...yeah iam very much sure about this ...I have decided to stay back here and work along with him..she said looking at Shaurya...But madam how will I handle everything...you can Tina and don't worry we will keep visiting their...mahek replied...okay than madam as you say...Rahul was in tears while leaving...I will miss you he said and hugged mahek .. Little mahek went to him and said if you want you can stay with us. . she forwarded her hand saying iam mahek and he shakes hand saying iam Rahul ...naam toh sunaa hoga na ...they all laughed and Rahul stayed back with them and Tina left for Delhi with other kids ...

After few days when Shaurya got recovered shaurya officially propsed her and confessed his love ..they got married in a traditional style of that place and Karuna also came their along with Sonal to bless them ...they all stayed like a big family and after few years they were blessed with twins...
