Raman Kumar Bhalla doing MBA, a very sweet, shy, loving, caring and very handsome guy. All girls want to be his girlfriend but raman due his shy nature never give any heed to them and also he secretly loves someone. He was the only child of his parents. His parents' lives in London while he lived in Delhi, in flat. His parents' has to shift London for expanding their business 5 years ago when raman was in second year of graduation. They try to make raman agree to go with them and pursue his graduation in London but raman didn't agree and said he wants to do his studied in India and will come to them after completing studies and also because of someone special. Besides studying MBA and want to be a businessman, he loves to do painting. He use to do painting of places or things but the first person he paint was his love. While, Ishita Iyer doing MBA, a very chirpy, loving, caring and naughty and not at all a shy girl, she is full of life and ya love do pranks. She is the only child of her parents, her parents' lives in Mumbai while she is living in Delhi in a flat, for studies. Iyers used to live in Delhi, but 2 years ago shifted to Mumbai to expand their business, but ishita didn't go because she wants to complete her MBA here only.
Ishra met in class 12th,raman was very reserved person. The first day of 12th a new admission entered in class that is ishita Iyer. Raman was sitting alone so ishita went and sit with him and they become friends. Time passes Ishra become best of friends, they are inseparable. Raman was hopelessly in love with ishita but never voice it out as he was afraid to lose her friendship and about ishita will come to know further. Both live in flats opposite to each other, they always remain together always, they eat together and go to college together, were always worried for each other. They were happy in each other's happiness while sad in each other's bad times. Ishita use to scold him every time if ever he does any stupidity with full right and also care for him, use to take care of him when he fell sick of disturbed with anything and same case was with raman towards ishita. She always use to be possessive about raman. All used to misunderstand them as a couple.
In college Ishra make new friends romi, mihika, anita, rohit. Romi-Mihika and Anita-Rohit are couple. All know about raman's love for ishita and always encourage him but he always steps back fearing about losing her friendship. Their MBA got finished and now is their farewell party and all encourage raman to confess his love on farewell and he also decide to confess his love on farewell.
All reached the party, all couples were color coordinated. Boys were waiting for girls at the gate of their college gate. Romi and Rohit were talking while raman was pacing to and fro while nervousness was clear on his face. Romi and Rohit saw him walking in tension. Both shook their head seeing him, both went to him and said standing in front of him
Romi- So raman all set to propose ishita.
Rohit(teasing)- Romi not ishita say bhabhi
Both laugh saying this while raman blushed.
Raman- What guys plz don't tease me.
They were teasing raman when they hear mihika and anita
Mihika-Anita(teasing him)- Why not to tease you, this is our right jija ji.
Raman blushed hard listening to this while all smile seeing him blushing. They were teasing raman and laughing when they hear ishita's voice.
Ishita(standing near raman)- What you all have said to raman that he has become red tomato.
Romi- Nothing bha... I mean ishita just we were saying that how much kids raman will have in future.
Ishita- So what have been decided
Anita- Nothing we were saying that how alone raman can decide this, u know his wife should also give her opinion. After all both of their contribution is needed u know.
Saying this all start laughing while all this while raman was lost in ishita, her angelic smile, her eyes which are deep like ocean, her beautiful long hair which were flowing with air and her rose petal lips. She was really an epitome of beauty, and in white she was looking like an angel. Ishita was busy in laughing so she didn't notice but other notice that how raman was lost in ishita. They decided to leave them alone, so they excuse themselves and went from there stating that they want to spend some time alone. When all disappeared from there ishita face raman and saw him lost. She waves her hand in front of him breaking his trance and said
Ishita- Where are you lost mister. By the way someone is looking very handsome today. What's the reason??
Raman blushed hearing this, while ishita smile seeing him blushing
Ishita- Ooohooo my cutie pie
Raman- By the way you also not looking bad, no actually you are looking breathtaking.
Ishita- Really, so whose breath will be taken by me today.
Raman- Let's see,(forwarding his hand) shall we go inside now.
Ishita(holding her hand)- Sure.
Both entered the party and went to their friends. All start enjoying the party, all played games, do performances, some also give speeches and some said something special for someone, after that all have their food. Party was coming to an end while raman's nervousness going up. After party gets over before raman can say anything ishita said that she wants to talk to all of them something important and took them outside the hall in a garden and all stand around her when she said
Ishita- Ok guys, actually I want to tell you all something, there is a good news,(facing raman)- and raman I am sorry I know I should have told you first before telling in front of them but...i hope you will not be upset with me.
Raman nodded in no, while all including raman thought that maybe ishita is going to propose him, all gets happy thinking this but their smile faded hearing her.
Ishita- Guys my marriage got fixed, day after tomorrow is my engagement and after three days my wedding. So isn't it a great news and you all have to come, and you know my engagement is going to be held here in Delhi only.
All get sad hearing this and looked at raman, while it was taking everything and every bit of his body and emotions not to break down and show his sadness.
Ishita- What!! Why are you all looking like this, I know this is so sudden but why this reaction, will you not congratulate me.
Raman was the first one to compose and he come forward and hug her and said
Raman- Nothing like that, congratulations ishita. I am very happy for you. It's just that it was so sudden, I wish you get all the happiness of life.
All looked at him feeling bad for him, while raman pressed his eyes saying that he is fine. They were about to say something when raman shake his head telling them not to say anything. Raman broke the hug and said
Raman- Why are you all standing there like this I know it was all of a sudden and a shocking news but at least congratulate her guys.
All compose themselves and hug her congratulating her while feeling bad seeing how he was handling himself and masking his sadness.

Ishita was telling them about the boy being an NRI and being belong to Delhi that's why their engagement is in Delhi. Raman was faking smile trying his best not to show his sadness and wiped his tears with without being notice by anyone.

Next morning raman opened his eyes and saw him sleeping himself on floor in room, his eyes were swelled and blood red while tears were still flowing from his eyes. He remember the previous day happening and how he reached his home and slept in this special room which is his only solace and slept on flooring crying on his fate. He went to his room and get freshen up.
In evening romi-mihika and rohit-anita come to raman's home to meet him and console him. While raman composes himself and make them all understand.
Raman- Guys I know you all are feeling bad for me, plz don't feel bad for me, I am good. And plz you all have to promise me that anyone of you will not tell ishita about this, about my feelings, you all have my swear. I am happy if ishita is happy, for me all matters is ishita's happiness, nothing else.
All nodded and spend some time with him and console him and after some time went from there giving him strength. Night went like previous night in that special room. Next evening he get ready half-heartedly for ishita's engagement. He put smile on his face and reached Iyer Mansion for ishita's engagement with his friends. Mr. and Mrs. Iyer welcome them. Soon groom also reached and went to stage while ishita was also called.
Ishita was coming down with her friends and mother. She was wearing pink and green lehanga looking eternal. Her hairs were open and curled from down with minimum make up still looking breathtaking. Raman smile seeing her masking his sadness.

Ishita reached at stage and sat beside the groom, while raman was trying his best to smile.

They get up to for the ceremony, and groom slip the ring in ishita's finger, all clapped, raman also clapped hiding his tears.

Next ishita also slip the ring in groom's finger, raman wiped his tears without noticing anyone and clapped hard.

Raman and his friends went to stage to congratulate her. All hug her and congratulate her while raman said
Raman- I am very happy for you ishu, I wish you all have a happy married life. Stay happy always, and I am sorry ishu I will not be here for your wedding.
Ishita- Raman but...
Raman- Sorry ishu I know I should be here but actually yesterday I got mom's call, she is calling me, sh...she is not well so I have to go urgently, but I really wish you have all the happiness of life.
Raman then go towards groom and hugged him and said
Raman- Plz take care of her, she is really special to us and always keep her happy.
While groom nodded and raman went from there with moist eyes not able to see anymore. While ishita was in tears seeing him going. Her friends saw the pain and sadness I her eyes but was not understanding anything while ishita compose herself and put a smile on her face.
He went to his house feeling helpless and directly went to that special room in that house and sat on floor.

He was recalling their beautiful and peaceful moments they spend together till now while his tears were unstoppable. He was sitting hiding his face when he heard her voice calling him. He raise his head and saw her standing there smiling at him and bringing her arms forward telling him to come and hug her. Raman smile with teary eyes and run to hug her but before he can hug her she vanish.
Aaya woh phir nazar aise, baat chidne lagi phir se
Aankho mein chubtha kal ka dhuwaa
Mmm..mmm...mmm...
Hal tera na hum sa hi, is khushi mein kyun gham sa hi
He realize it's just his imagination, he stood there and look around the room which was filled with his love his ishita's paintings, trying to find some solace.
Basne laga kuyn phir woh jahan

Phir se yaadon ne kar di hai jaise pehal
Lamha beeta huwa, dil dhukata raha

Raman(smiling)- You know ishita the first time I saw you I start liking you, you know you were my first friend, my best friend. Just because of my reserved nature or you can say because they think I am boring person because I was not like them a prankster, a cheerful person no one befriend with me, no one understand me ever. You were the first one who befriend with me, you were the only one who understand me and become my best friend and soon my love. I always want to confess my love to you but always get afraid that what if I lose your friendship.(crying)- I will not lie you know when you told me about your engagement I was really shattered, I felt like...like lost my reason to live, you are the only one who understood me even more than my parents.
Raman then move towards the table and held a photo frame containing Ishra pic. He run his fingers on her face and kneel down on floor crying holding her pic to his heart
Raman- But I love you ishu, I love you
He was crying sitting on floor holding her pic when he heard her
Ishita- I love you too raman.
He turn around hearing her and saw her standing at door of the room while tears were flowing nonstop from her eyes. He stood up wiping his tears and saw her while ishita come forward and stood in front of him and said
Ishita(holding his hands)-I love you too raman
Raman first thought he was again imagining her but when he felt her touch he come to senses that he is not imagining but she was really here confessing that she loves him. He shrugged her hands and said
Raman- What are you saying ishu, how can... You...but you were got engaged...then what was all that.
Ishita- Calm down raman I'll tell you everything. I always loved you raman, even I decided to confess my love to you on our farewell but three days before valentine amma appa came to meet me. They told me that they have fixed my alliance with their friends son. I told them that I love you but didn't agree because our different culture. He wants me to marry him because he is from our culture. I tried to make appa agree for us even amma tried but appa didn't agree. Next day passed like this me convincing appa. Next day before our farewell appa had a heart attack. Doctor said that his we should not give him stress otherwise... Then appa gave me his swear to him to his choice of boy so I have to agree. I am sorry raman I really am sorry for hurting you.
Raman was having tears listening to her
Raman- You could have told me ishita, I would have also talk to your parents.
Ishita- I thought to talk to you even to subbu (to whom ishita engaged) but thought to firstly convince appa myself. Then I thought to tell you but appa got heart attack and all happened.
Raman- But ishita now you are engaged, then why are you telling me all this now.
Ishita- Because I broke that engagement.
Raman(widening his eyes)- What...how...I mean your appa...and subbu.
Ishita- Actally when I saw you going I didn't able to control myself so went to my room. When I was going to my room I heard amma and appa talking, amma was scolding appa for faking heart attack. I was stunned and shattered listening to this that my appa did this with. I was not getting anything. I was about to go inside to confront appa when subbu held me and took me to my room and asked me about all that appa was saying so told him everything about my love and appa and he was a nice guy and free me from this engagement and told me to come to you and he handle appa.
Raman was smiling while tears were flowing nonstop. He hugged her tight smiling while ishita also hugged him tight.
Raman- I Love you Ishu
Ishita- I love you too raman.
Both felt contented finally getting each other and being in each other's embrace. Both looked at each other and kissed passionately forgetting the world.
