Holika Dahan, or burning of demon Holika, is a very important event during Holi festival. Also knowns as Choti Holi, it symbolizes the victory of good over evil.

Legend has it that the Demon king Hiranyakashipu was able to suppress all this subjects and make them his devotees. All his citizens prayed to Hiranyakashipu and not to Vishnu. But Prahalad, the little son of Hiranyakashipu, prayed to Lord Vishnu. He tried all means to stop Prahalad from worshipping Vishnu but he failed.

Hiranyakashipu then decided to kill his son. But each attempt to kill Prahalad was thwarted by Vishnu. Finally, the demon king took the help of his sister Holika. Fire could do nothing to her as she was immune to fire.

So, she took young Prahalad and sat in a huge bowl of fire. But this time young Prahalad came out without any damage and Holika was burnt to death. The little boy Prahalad was able to overcome evil in the form of Holika through his unwavering devotion to Lord Vishnu.

In remembrance of this event, people lit bonfire known as Holika Dahan.

is challenged by evil,

A full moon looks on
as winds stoke embers,
flare flames
to a flickering dance

Right in the center
of crimson blaze
sits Holika,
Prahlad in her lap -
her arms a circle of heat

White sparks fly from her hair,
eyes smolder in fury;
her mouth sucks in air,
engulfs rice and wheat

Wood chars,
coconuts splinter,
flowers singe
smearing earth with ash.

Year after year
faith survives.
Holika burns to death.

Hello Everyone! Now I understand the uproar about whats gone by and whats coming ahead but lets take one episode at a time. Lets take our worries and hate and drop them into the holi fire so that we cleanse ourselves of our negativity and shine on with some positivity. Every thought matters because even if we are not physically together we are all connected mentally with each other. So let go and see where did the episode lead us in totality

Our screens opened up to Shivaay checking the trolley for any evidences of what Anika was hiding. Even through he didnt fnd anyone there but looking at her khoobsurat chehra he is more sure that there is definately something wrong! So the Obahus escaped through the tornado as Aryan got bored and decided to change the trolley!Phew!A narrow escape!😆

Year after year

Par woh kehte hai na, "Aasman se tapke aur khajoor pe atke". Veer annoyed with the narrow escapes by Obahus in hiding aryan ante up's his deadly game on the eve of Holi. In the lieu of Choclates he persuades Aryan to almost sit under the fire. A very evil thought, shows he can go to any extent to get his plan of tarnishing Oberois successful. As he narrates the plan to Saumya and Bua he clarifies that now either the child would die in the fire or will come out in fear. In both case their job would be done.

But Veer bhai saab, as they say aap Obahus ki ekta se bach nahi sakte. Even admist the celebrations they had a hawk eye on their target despite of you making Aryan dance to your tunes! So on the night of the full moon standing around the sacred fire Anika prays to forgive her for keeping the child away from Shivaay since she doesnt want to increase his worries. And Shivaay prays to the almighty to give him strength to solve all the mysteries surrounding his family as his ray of hope in terms of Tia has diminshed.

While the family celebrates Holika Dahan we see Aryan sitting right under the fire as guided by Veer and witnessed by Bua and Saumya. Their eyes gleaming with evil victory! But as if the almighty was guiding them Obahus happen to see Ayran in the fire and they rush to be by his side.

You can see fear, anxiety, concern laden all over their faces. In a heroic stance they get him out with all the emotions flowing further. Though the boy is bvery bvery cute the scene went a lil OTT but the main point is that atar matar aryan gave them a clue that it was "Bade Uncle" who got him under the fire. I m sure it will help them further coz right now they have just turned a blind eye to the Giant Man as they had done it with the Giant Joker. I m a tad disappointed there.

So with that Aryan gets saved and obahus win the war against the masked Veer. Their faith survives and NB's evil plans are dead for the night.

Meanwhile Khanna catches hold of the fake pandit who was set by the evil Saumya for a fake marriage. So once again the good takes over evil as Obros come to know that it was a fake marriage and hence she couldnt cash on that deal. So now she wants him for real.Bingo!2 by 2 finally makes to 4!

Surviving the fire Obahus fall in the pit with Shark Singh Oberoi, these days on the move😆 . He catches hold of Aryan n is not ready to buy their Lie of him being Mrs. Ahluwahlia son. Makes me remember a dialouge from the movie Bajirao Mastani changed as per our love for Shivaay, "Cheete Ki chaal aur SSO ki nazar par sandeh nahi karte. Kabhi bhi maat de sakti hain"😆I m not interested in jealousy detours anymore though I might make use of it in my holi special fiction hopefully to be updated tonight😉. Its getting a bit stretched now.

Hopefully as the precap suggests, we must see some movement tomorow with the devil and angel seeking the same bhaang for entirely different reasons.👏Until then Addios!😳

Holika Dahan is celebrated by burning Holika, the devil. For many traditions in Hinduism, Holi celebrates the killing of Holika by Vishnu in order to save Prahlad, a devotee of God Vishnu and thus Holi gets its name.

Holika dahan symbolises the victory of good over evil. Holika was given the a fire resistent shawl by the Brahma on the understanding that it can never be used to bring harm to anyone.When Hiranyakashipu wanted to kill Prahlad,his son who went against his father and became a devotee of Vishnu,Hiranyakashipu ordered Holika to burn Prahlad.Holika wore a shawl that would protect her from fire. So when she was asked to sit in the fire with Prahlad she put on the shawl and sat Prahlad down in her lap. When the fire was lit Prahlad began praying to Lord Vishnu. So Lord Vishnu summoned a gust of wind to blow the shawl off of Holika and on to Prahlad, saving him from the flames of the bonfire and burning Holika to her death.

Here Hiranyakashipu is Veer who has no compunction in hurting a child for his own gains and Holika is Soumya who gloats to see a child getting burnt because that will further her intentions !

The O bahus save Aryan just like Vishnu saved Prahlad.

This is the symbolism I got from today's episode. How Aryan will bring about Veer's end is yet to be seen to understand.

I was looking out for some symbolism...but came blank...😆

Knew about the prahlad-hiranyakaspu-Narasimhavatar story...but learned about holika only recently...😊

And episode was ok for a filler...😃

The emotions with which Obahu's rescued Aryan was heart warming...those little kisses Annika gave him...they all were so scared of losing him...😳

There was a shift in the girls attitude towards Aryan seeing him sitting in the pyre...I felt ki until that moment he was just a means to get to the truth..and they were slightly annoyed with the kid...😳

But then it changed marked by the wanting to introduce themselves to the kid...

And then their happiness seeing Aryan saying utter butter chocolates...😆

Loved how the kid surprised the girls by telling their names...utter butter was so cute there...😃

Shivaay really can sense all chol chappata when it comes to Annika...the look he was giving Annika all throughout was very funny...😆

And then I for one liked the kitchen scene...Shivaay trolling the sudden chipko behavior of the girls...Annika leaving manchala devrani was hilarious...poor Gauri...😆

And the nakli pandit informing obro's that the Rumya marriage wasn't even real...kinda saddened by it...😭

Precap caught my attention...so Shivaay planning to make Saumya blabber the truth by spiking her and Veer plans to expose the kid by spiking Obahu's...

Have a lot of armans with this holi...hope we get it...

Now that I think about it...the masks of deceit is being taken off one by one...like the protective shawl of holika was taken off...And wrapped protectively around prahlad...

Saumya's revelation...

The kid giving uttar pattar bade uncle is another clue pointing to Veer...which may bring the girls to veer...

Maybe Tia will find a way to inform about Veer n bbua too...And the raaz affecting Annika too...

Anyways looks like they are finally bracing themselves for the big revelation and the subsequent impact...if it affects Shivika...

Good, i did not think in this way. So that means Veer and Saumya exposure is near. All three Obahus saving Aryan is the symbolism of good vs evil. The best thing i like is Shivika dialogue when they were taking round around Holi. Annika was worried about Shivvay and wanted to keep him away from all troubles and Shivvay was wishing to keep his family safe. Shivvay is the wall of family and Annika is the wall of Shivvay.

Waiting for this desperately. I also think that now they will start exposing one by one because they made Saumya all negative and also finally proved that the Marriage was fake so all disclosures as per your post is almost done. Only bua is left.

Excellent reviews, Twish! Somehow I am not upset that Sowmya ha sturned out to be NB3! Ever since her arrival before, now when you think back, her moves seem orchestrated!

The one or two bonding monents with Sahil abd girl gang could be genuine!

But i remember once when RudRa was going behind to see who the new maids were - Svet and Romi in maids disguise bringing veggies, it was Sowmya who called him and stopped him from going near them!

Likewise, how did they tape Rumya wedding if it wasnt planned? I think at that time all they wanted was some plan in hand which they did use to stop the sudden marriage of Rudys with that Chaabras daughter!

Today seeing Sowmya keeping cool while waiting for Aryan to die or be found out - lost all hope in her character!

Annika simply stuns us, not to mention her chitchor thadiyal!

Poor Shivaay!

The analogy between the Holika and prahlad was very apt.

Only think I'm skeptical about is that the buildup they have given for KM fire, is so huge. Even without knowing an expectation is set, I just hope the plot revelation meets the expectation!

BURA NA MAANO "HOLI Hai!!!

Bura Na Maano aaj Ishqbaaaz-ion ki ghar mein Holi Hai!!!😃

Episode is little entertaining and a holi filler celebration one. Let's take the episode as a fun festivity and enjoy.

Episode starts with Annika Bhavya pretending to take kid out of OM but shivaay is following them to see if they r really doing it. 😆they get into the car and pretend to drive from there and as soon as Shivaay goes inside, they come back.😆

OBahus thinking how to hide Aryan on Holi. Annika gives idea saying they will mix bhaang and give to everyone in house so that they can hide Aryan😆

Shivaay planning to give bhaang to Saumya so that they can know what's her plan to marry Rudy.😆

Veer and Saumya planning to give bhaang to Obahus so that they get the kid out infront of everyone.😆

Tia planning to give bhaang to Veer Saumya so that she can go to rescue Robin and her son.😆

Next morning, ShivOmRu all ready and come out of their respective rooms only to get coloured. Surprised to know it's done by Sr.Obeoris.😆

Tejvi r behaving as if they didn't do anything.

OBahus come and Color Obros and run from there before they could Color them. They keep escaping from them and also challenges Obros to put colors on them.

OBros and Obahus enjoying holi with a Bollywood number.

Obros colour Veer wishing him Holi. ShiVeer fans khush😆

OBros r successful to make Saumya eat bhaang wale aloo parathas with the help of Rudy.

OBahus r mixing bhaang in tandai in three glasses exclusively so that Obros get drunk. But veer comes and offers them gujiya. (I think gujiya has bhaang..😆)

Precap: Annika asks veer what's his plan but he says there is nothing and if there is anything he would involve her. Veer (looks drunk) says he is smart and will make obahus get Aryan out.

Now let's wait and watch which raaz will come out in all this kachra planning of each and everyone or is this all another phuski plan of everyone.😆

Let's wait and see if the raaz of Saumya or Veer or Roop or Tia or Obahus will come out.😳

I personally think it's time for Aryan and Saumya to get exposed.

Are there any chances, if Aryan comes out and Somu blames Rudy as the father of this child, Shivaay (with Omru and AniRiVya) will analyse her plan and play along with NB gang making them think they won but then they'll find proofs and flip in the last minute with the same bride swap drama making RuVya married?

Let's wait for more revelations in the upcoming episodes. I think now the drama will be escalated after the holi episodes.😊
