LAST CHAPTER

"Mehek! what are you doing in my room? Sonal shouted as she snatched the paper from her hands.

"Sonal give that back to me she ordered while crying.

"No I will not. It mine she was adamant to not give it back to her.

"Did you write it Sonal? She asked her. She was not sh chef at all because Sonal was the only one besides her who knew about the book.

"Ye..yes. She said slowly as pure anger was visible in Mehek's eyes.

"Why Sonal why did you do this to me? I trusted you. She broke down in front of her. Sonal tried to consoled her but she pushed her away.

"Mehek please try to listen

"There is no hearing left Sonal. Do you know I love him saying this she again started crying.
Sonal could not say anything. She was speechless after her confession.

"Now what am I supposed to do? Huh...

"Mehek just calm down. You don't have to do anything if you really love him. There's no need to change anything.

"Sonal how could you say such thing? I love him and I can't keep him under this spell and I want him to love me truly.

"Then..then burn it down.

Mehek looked at her with her eyes filled with confusion. Maybe there was no option left.


The next day was her haldi and after that her wedding. She didn't had much time to decide.
But she had to make a decision.

She came down the hall wearing a yellow dress and sat on the stool. The ceremony began but she was all lost in her thoughts. She had decided that she would burn the paper but the only problem was that she didn't have the courage to do that.

Her wedding was approaching with every passing second. She got ready and wore her lehenga. She was sitting in front of the mirror. Sonal came there and told her that the Baraat had arrived.
She thought that she should tell Shaurya about it. She went near the window and peeped out and saw him dancing and enjoying with all other. Tears formed in her eyes seeing him. Sonal told her that her father needs her to come down. She nodded her head and said that she will come in some time.

She went down. Shaurya was already waiting for her standing on the stage wearing a orange and golden sherwani. She couldn't meet her eyes with his. They did the varmala rasam. She tried to talk to him but could not because of the presence the other people.

She went back to her room. She was told to wait. She stood close to the window with the price of paper in her hands.


She waited for long after some time she was called down. She had to make a decision now.

"No. I cannot do this to him. She told herself and wiped off the tears. She went near her drawer and took out a match box.


She lit the matches and burned down the piece of paper. She had her eyes closed. "I love you. I always will she whispered.

She closed her eyes and waited for everything to change. She opened them hoping for her to forget everything but when she opened her eyes nothing had changed.

She was surprised. She ran down to see what was going on.

She went running down the stairs and stopped before the stairs of the mandap where Shaurya was sitting. Seeing her he got up and came towards her. He had no expression on his face. She was standing there and breathing heavily as she ran down the whole way.

Mehek's heartbeat rose with every step he took near her. He came and stood in front of her.

"Mehek! He screamed.

"Huh..what? She shivered in fear.

"Do you even want to marry me?he asked rolling his eyes.

She looked at him with a strange expression on her face.

"I want to but.. She mumbled slowly.

"So why are you late mehek! He complained and pulled her to the mandap along with him.

Mehek had no idea what was going on. She sat down as she was told to do so by the priest.

He started doing all the procedures involved. She confusingly looked at Sonal after every two minutes. They both could not figure out what was happening and how could it be possible.

They both were ordered to stand for the pheras. Shaurya was in front of her. He started walking around the holy fire and she followed him. Later she leaded him. He filled sindoor in her maang and tied mangalsutra around her neck. She was happy but confused as well.

They were declared as husband and wife. They took blessing of everyone. Mehek went to Sonal and said. "Sonal how can this happen. I had burned the paper.

"I don't know anything. Maybe he really loves you. Someone called out for Sonal and she left.

Mehek was standing there all confused. She had to leave soon. She hurriedly went to her room and put the book in her bag. After the bidaai she arrived at Shaurya's house and Karuna ma did her grah pravesh. She was headed to her and Shaurya's room. She had completely forgotten about their wedding night. But first she needed to know the truth about the thing which was written on paper.

"Please god fairy appear as in front of me. I need your help she said with her eyes closed. And within seconds the fairy appeared.

"Mehek my child. I am here.

"Oh! thank god god fairy.i am in great confusion I need your help.

"Tell me!

She told her everything that had happened and the god fairy started laughing.

"What happened god fairy? Why are you laughing?

"You are a lucky girl mehek the man really loved you.

"But..

"Probably you didn't read the rules behind the book.

"What rules?

"Rule no. 7 - If any other age is torn from this book it has no value and is equal to an ordinary piece of paper. " she said.

"This means that ... She was really happy to know that. Her eyes became glittery. She looked over at god fairy.

Suddenly,the door open from behind and Shaurya came in the room. Mehek looked at him and then back at the fairy but she was gone.

Shaurya looked at her his gaze was intense and made her shiver. He locked the door and came near her.

"Mehek he said in a husky tone and pulled her from her waist.

"Yes she replied softly as he made circles on her back.

"I love you a lot and now you are mine. he said like a child claiming his chocolate.

"Show me. She said. He smiled and captured her lips. The kiss was soft and slow. He wanted to savour the moment because she was his now and he could kiss her anytime, anywhere and whenever he wanted.

"Your lips are the most sweetest thing I have ever tasted.he said after breaking the kiss and picking her up in his arms.

"Now don't taste them too much you will destroy these abs of yours. She said and punched him slightly.

He placed her on the bed and came on top and of her.

"I'm ready to gain weight Mrs. Khanna. He whispered in her ear.
