Mahek droved rashly on the road trying to forget the encounter she had , but still flashes of past were haunting her ...she lost the vision because of tears in her eyes and her car hit the tree due to the force her forehead hit the steering wheel..she fell unconscious and blood started to ooze out from her wound... passerby's who had witnessed the accident helped her and admitted her in a nearby hospital .

Shaurya was also thinking about her , he felt strange as she ignored him , he had always tried hard to push her away from his life and now when she was doing the same what he always wanted he wasn't able to understand why it was hurting so much ...and her looks she wasn't at all looking like a newly married..no sindoor and no mangalsutra ..he remembered when she was young how she used to dress herself as a bride and admire herself looking in mirror...

He entered khanna mansion and flashes of the time which they have spend together started playing in front of his eyes ...As he entered he looked at the swing which was kept in garden...how he use to spent most of his time studying there and mahek used to always distract him by requesting him for something or complaining about something...he looked towards the balcony of his room and remembered the way she was requesting him to come along with her for movie..and he had just made a excuse that he was busy with some project , when he went inside the hall he looked towards the dining table and remembered how she was complaining to his mom that he isn't coming with them for college picnic...he had refused because they had exams after few days and he can't waste those precious 2 days on some stupid picnic...when he entered the hall he remembered the way she was teaching him few dance steps and wanted him to become her dance partner , he wantedly stomped her foot while dancing and she tauted him that he can never dance in his life...he asked her to find another partner...she did the same she danced with Ajay and they have won the competition too...if she would have participated along with him than definitely they would have loose it, he always knew that they were poles apart and he could never keep her happy , he was ambitious and always wanted to be a doctor and wanted to fulfill his father's last wish. ...and mahek was a complete contrast to him...she was never worried about her future , always full of life and energy... she had such a charming personality that anyone would fall in love with her and maybe even he was attracted to her and had started spending most of the time along with her or thinking about her but soon the effect reflected on his grades in college for the first time he had scored less marks and was scolded by his father...since than he had completely started ignoring mahek..it used to hurt him but he knew he was doing right.. things became worse when he lost his father and than he had only one goal in life now ...he wanted to be a doctor , if he would have stayed here in India it would have been difficult for him he decided to continue his studies in different country , he wanted to leave the country without informing anyone but all his classmates came to know about it and they decided to give a farewell party for him...he regret attending that party as he had breaked mahek's heart mercilessly on that day .

Shaurya ..you are back , Karuna said while walking down of stairs , Shaurya came back to present from his reverie ...He took her blessings and gaved her a tight hug...I missed you beta ...Karna cupped his face and said with tears in her eyes...I missed you too maa , he replied kissing her forehead ... their reunion was very emotional , hope you have some time for your mother now ?? She questioned when he was going to his room for fresh up...I have to report on my duty in few hours Maa ..he replied with a sigh .. Karuna's face fell down...what was the need to join your job so urgently ..you could have taken rest for few days atleast shaurie , Karuna complained ...Maa what's the use of studying so hard than...my real test will start now..he said hugging her , No one can win with you in argument...she replied..he smiled and said he will change and come back to have some dinner made by her hands ...I will arrange the table Karuna replied and went towards the kitchen ...

As he entered the room he stood at the door remembering the time he spend with her in his room..she always use to jump around in the room and he used to drag her out of the room ...he took out a book from his bookshelf and opened it and picked the dried rose flower ...he had tears remembering the moment when he had rejected Mahek's love when she went down on her knees and proposed him in his farewell party ...he dried his tears and kept the book back...he got a call from the hospital about the confirmation that he has to join his duty today...he said he will be there on time...he got freshed up and had some quick meal along with his mother and than he drove towards the hospital...

It was 4 AM when he reported on his duty...and had a formal introduction with his colleagues , later one of the duty doctor took Shaurya on rounds along with him ,.. Shaurya was shocked to see mahek lying on one of the bed , she was still unconscious...what happened to her ?? He questioned the nurse who was attending her ...She met a accident and was admitted few hours back ...she replied, Shaurya's eyes were filled with tears realising it must have been happened because of him..if he would haven't met her on the way ,she would have reached home safely...he cursed himself...Did you informed her husband?? He questioned trying to control his emotions...No sir , there was some Sonal number in her emergency contact list and we have informed her...she may be here soon... Shaurya felt strange..he took her phone and checked her contacts...there were hardly any contacts added from her family... Nehal.. mohit and Sonal's number were saved , he handed her phone back to nurse and asked her to inform him immediately when ever she gains consciousness ...the duty doctor questioned him ..do you know her ?? He didn't knew what to answer him ... should he tell him that she is everything to him...he just nodded his head and moved away ..

When he came out of the room after attending her he bumped with Sonal in the corridor...he had a smile on his face but she was in a shock to see him there and looked at him with disgust ...what are you doing here ?? She questioned...I have just joined the hospital today...he replied , in that case I will shift mahek to some other hospital ...I don't want her to know that you came back , she replied angrily...She knew that I came back and I think she met with the accident after they met on the road...You are just a curse for her , thank God she is alive else you could have been responsible for another death...Sonal took out all her frustration... Another death what do you mean ?? Whom you are talking about ?? Shaurya questioned holding her arm...It's none of your business..go and look after your other patients...she taunted ...dammit tell me she is my friend and I have all rights to know about her...he said with a stern voice, Upar wala tumhary jaisa dost kisi dushman ko bhi na de (God shouldn't give a friend like you even to a enemy) She replied angrily and tried to move away...he pulled her back and confronted her...tell me clearly what are you talking about ?? ...iam talking about her husband who died in a accident and Mr. Khanna , directly or indirectly you are responsible for that accident... because of you she was never able to accept that marriage...she kept waiting for you on her marriage day, she had hopes that you would come back and stop her marriage...I don't know why she always believed that you love her...I don't know why even after so many refusals she had always hopes from you ...she never consummated her marriage thinking you will come back and accept her and confess your love... but now Shaurya it's too late ,all you can get is just her hatrednes...She told him the truth and left the place saying she will shift her to another hospital... Shaurya stood their in disbelief...Arman died because of him...his head spinned thinking sonal was right...he is just a curse..he wanted her to see happy with a person who can love her unconditionally...who can always fulfill her all demands and bear all her tantrums...but he forgot that she can't love anyone else like him...he thought she will move on and forget him after her marriage but wasn't aware that she was still living in false hopes...
