Hi friends back with new update .Part 28
Ishra went out from the hall entwining their hands in each other while rest of the family members saw them happily and prayed for their happy life . Ishra settled in his car and went for a long drive ,spend sometimes together and then returned back .
Next day was their marriage ,so in morning their haldi function was organized . Raman's haldi was going on when Raman asked "simmi where is ishita ."
S- she is in her room .
R- why its our haldi na ,so she should also be there na.
S- no ,at first this haldi will be applied to you then this same haldi will be applied to ishita .
R- thats not my question ,my question is ,if ishita is not there how she will apply first haldi to me .
S- wo kyun lagaygi haldi tujhe .its us who will put haldi on you.
R- but I want that she should be first to apply haldi to me .
S- no first ,no last ,she will not come to put haldi on you ,got that bhai .
R- no ,I want her to be first .
S- bhai ye kya zidd hai ,why do you want to change the rituals .
R- simmi these rituals ,were made when people get married from different places and both the parties cannot do rituals together but now everything has changed ,earlier no gents were allowed in sangeet function but now both bride and groom dance together in sangeet then why can't we apply haldi to each other .
Simmi folded her hands and spoke bending her head in front of him " I will call your ishita bhai ,please don't give these long lectures ,it seems we are sitting to listen some pravachan ."
R-(smiling naughtily)- I wouldn't given you such pravachan if you would had called ishita earlier .
All laughed listening to him ,then amma went and brought ishita ,she was wearing a yellow anarkali suit while Raman was wearing a yellow kurta with white payjama . They saw each other and their eyes met ,he winked at her and raised his collar ,on his victory . Simmi instructed ishita to put haldi on him ,she smiled and took a handful of haldi ,and rubbed it nicely on his face while he took his face near to ishita and let her do her work nicely . She rubbed the haldi on his whole face ,then he too took handful of haldi and applied on her face , then spoke " see I told you na , only we will apply haldi first on each other ,that to without hiding from anyone . now you remember your condition na ".
I- humm ,I remember it nicely that now I had to obey you for whole week ,I can't deny anything you say .
R- correct .
I- waise I knew that you can do this .
They were busy in themselves when simmi spoke " arey tum dono hamein ritual bhi complete karne doge ya phir you two remain like this ,kya zaroorat hai tum dono ko shaadi ki ,we already are invisible for you people ,kahin bhi shuru ho jaate ho .kuch to sharam karo ".
Ishita blushed listening to her ,she moved from there and settled in her place when Raman spoke " arey why should we be shy ,hadn't you people listened ,jisne ki sharam uske phoote karam . "
All laughed listening to him while Ishita down casted her eyes and laughed pressing her mouth . After that simmi , amma ,mihika and other ladies applied haldi to ishra completing the ritual. After that all had their lunch and went to rest for sometimes ,as they have to leave for marriage venue in evening .
Soon it was evening ,all reached the venue . Ishita started getting ready ,she was wearing her saree when the beautician arrived ,she took the charge and started making her ready . After much time she was ready in red Lahenga and matching jewelries ,her hairs were tied in a nice bun which was decorated with flower strings . She was looking too beautiful and divine in her bride attire while the happiness and spark of her eyes were adding glory to her attire . She wanted to see Raman's reaction on her sight , thats why when he demanded her pic ,she didn't send it and topd him to wait . Soon the ritual started and ishita was called for jaimaal ,mihika and Amma both took Ishita to the stage ,while Raman was awestruck to see her . He has assumed that she will be looking beautiful but actually she was looking ethereal as if she is not a simple girl but a queen , even amma appa too were very happy to see ishita like that . Appa even told amma " madhu you always had mocked my daughter for her look ,see how beautiful she is looking ".
Amma- you are right viswa ,she was always beautiful ,it was me who couldn't see her beauty . you know she is beautiful inside out ,thats why she is getting a partner like Raman.
A- humm .
Soon the jaimaala started ,Ishita was about to out varmala in his neck when simmi's husband picked Raman in his arms ,making him much more taller than Raman's reach . Ishita made a baby face looking towards Raman , even her drama worked also ,Raman told his brother in law to out him down when they noticed ,romi picking ishita and making her match Raman's level . All clapped for him while ishita immediately put the garland on Raman's neck ,he too did same. Then both if them were brought to ground , ishita did his aarti completing the ritual.
Then after completing the dinner marriage ritual started . Raman was sitting in mandap waiting for Ishita while panditji was enchanting mantras , soon ishita was called ,she came and settled beside her parent for kanyadaan ritual . Appa joined ishra hands and spoke giving ishita to raman " Raman kanna today I m giving my daughter to you ,promise me that you will take good care of her ".
Raman saw ishita ,she was already looking at her ,both shared a brief eyelock then Raman spoke " you don't worry uncle ,I will give her a beautiful life and she will be always my priority ."
Ishita smiled listening to him while he pressed her hand assuring her . Soon she shifted next to Raman ,they were still holding hands . Then they took seven rounds of holy fire ,taking the vows of marriage then again sat on their places .Panditji instructed Raman to fill his partition and make her wear mangalsutra . Raman did same while ishita closed her eyes to feel the moment ,she smiled happily while a tear of happiness escaped from her eyes while Raman wiped and pressed her hand ,both looked into each other eyes and gave a beautiful contended smile .
Panditji announced them as husband and wife ,and instructed them to take blessings of elder . They at first took blessing from Panditji ,then to iyers and other elders of bhalla's who had come to the wedding .
