Hi friends back with new update .
Part 4
Ishita entered her room and stood in front of mirror ,she checked herself ,she was wearing a simple black printed saree ,her hairs were tied in a messy bun ,while she hasn't done any makeup , just a small black bindi was adorning her forehead . She washed her face , took out her makeup kit and was about to apply it ,then stopped and spoke to herself " No I can't do this ,chee ishita what are you doing ,are you forgetting your status ,you are a widow . you don't have right to do all this and you are thinking about a man ,how can you . Amma (mother in law),already call you characterless as you ,yourself take care of the guesthouse and if someday she will come to know about your feeling , she will definitely badmouth you a lot ."
I- humm ,I should stop myself ,will go to meet him like this only,will return his watch and come back .Haan that will be alright .
She was talking to herself when her phone buzzed ,she licked the phone seeing its her lawyer number . She picked the call and the lawyer spoke " ishita ji can you please come to office for sometimes ,I have to take your signature in some papers ".
I- what papers .?
L- some income tax related papers and ..
I- and what .
L- you at first come here then only we can talk .
I- is it urgent ,if not then I will come in evening .
L- actually its urgent ,I have to sent this to CA to file your income tax .
I- ok ,coming in sometimes .
Saying so she hung the call ,took out her wallet and went to court without meeting Raman . She reached the lawyers office ,he gave her papers ,she read some of the papers then signed them . Then the lawyer passed another set of papers to her ,she saw it and asked " what papers are these ."
L- these are property papers of your husbands maternal property ,as a son a man is entitle to equal share of his father's property and being his wife you have right to claim his share of property from your in laws ,these are that claim papers only .
Ishita saw the papers and spoke " no sir leave it ,I don't want their property ,I m all alone and I earn enough for myself ,I have already lost my husband ,now want to live a peaceful and simple life ,if I will file these papers then my peace will be destroyed and I don't have that much time as well as money to spend in courts .
L- but ishita ji..
He was about to say more when her phone buzzed ,she picked the call and spoke " hello ".
it was call from her guest house ,the receptionist has called ,listening to ishita she immediately asked"madam where are you ?."
I- I m in my lawyers office for some important work, why did you called ?.
Rec- when you will be back ?
I- it will take some time ,you tell.
Rec- mam the guest who came in morning,is fussing over everything ,he is time and again calling you .
I- why he is angry ?
Rec- don't know why but he is getting mad with everybody and every thing , wants to talk to you asap .
I- who is this person ?
Rec- arey the person for whom you made ginger tea .
Ishita got worried knowing its Raman, she told the receptionist to disconnect the call as she will talk to him . The receptionist disconnected the call . Ishita excused herself from lawyer and went out of his room ,then dialed Raman's number to talk , she dialed his number then disconnected as she was getting nervous. She made herself calm ,composed herself and then called him.He picked the call and spoke "hello.whose it ".
He spoke casually as she has called from other number ,she closed her eyes listening his voice after such long time . He asked again not getting any response " hello ,whose this . ".
Ishita spoke " hello Mr Bhalla ,its Ishita".
Raman checked the number and asked " is this your number ,I had another one".
I- yeah its my other number . Glory was saying that you are very much angry .
R- who glory ?
I- my receptionist .
R- ohh ,you your receptionist ,what does she told .?
I- she informed that you are angry with something . will you please tell me what's the problem ,so that I can solve it .
Though she was too eager to know about his anger but she stopped herself and asked as she talk to her normal guests . While Raman got irritated with her treatment and spoke " nothing is good here ,the service is worst than earlier . nobody is around ,I had to wait for helps for long then if I ask something they are taking another 15 min to bring it . Even I hadn't had a nice coffee from morning ,what rubbish place is it ."
I- but i myself made tea for you .
R- you made that but you ..
He stopped in mid being caught ,then spoke after sometimes " I told you na your helps are so lazy ,you must had made tea for me but till the time he reached me ,it was all cold ,seemed I was drinking cold drink instead of tea ".
I- is it so ?
R- humm ,where are you .can you please make nice tea for me .
I- I m afraid ,I can't help you as k m out but will tell some of the help ...
She was yet to complete her word when is interrupted in mid and asked sound bit disappointed " are you out of Goa".
I- no no ,I m here only but not in guesthouse .
R- ohh.
I- you don't worry ,I m calling my staff and they will help you .
R- thats better . Till when you will be back .
I- around one hour .
R- ohh,ok .
Saying so he hung the call ,ishita was feeling goosebumps after talking to him ,she was feeling too happy ,for the reason unknown to her while on the other hand Raman too was feeling nice after talking to her . After much time ishita returned from the court ,she went to her room and lays on bed to relax for sometimes as she was tired . She closed her eyes to catch some sleep but same time she recalled about his watch . She took out his watch which she had kept nicely and then made a nice tea for him as he had complained about it . She walked to his room and knocked the door ,he opened the door and shouted " again you are late,I m going ...
He stopped in mid seeing her standing in front of him . She asked softly " I had brought tea for you ,what had you ordered ".
She had just asked when the waiter entered with a water bottle ,she glared him and spoke " why you people are so lazy ,sir was complaining about you people ".
W- mam ,it's just five minutes,sir wanted chilled water ,it was not in out kitchen , so went to take from outside .
I(looking to Raman )- see everybody has some reason behind the delay ,they are not ignoring you unnecessarily .
Raman made a sorry face and spoke " thank you ".
The help was gone ,ishita passed the tea to him and spoke " your tea ".
R- thank you so much for this ,I badly needed it .
She was about to give his watch to him ,thats when his phone rang ,he picked the call and started talking " it's matter of just two days , yeah I had my lunch ,bola na do din mein aa jaaonga . yeah was having an important meeting ,sorry had to come here urgently ,couldn't inform you .haan baba I will take care of myself ,you too take care . ".
She couldn't listen the voice of other side but listeming to him ,she assumed that he just be talking to his wife , knowing which an unknown sadness surrounded her ,her face fell with this new information . She thought that she should go thats when he disconnected the call and spoke " ye ma bhi na ,she is always behind me ".
I- it was your mother ?.
R- humm ,what did you thought .
I- I thought ,its your wife .
Raman got silent listening to her and spoke " no I don't have one".
Ishita got another new shock knowing he is unmarried and again cursed herself for thinking about him . She passed his watch to him and spoke " Mr Bhalla this is your watch , I had kept it nicely ,you can check ".
R- thank you so much ,what's there to check .
I- I should leave now , I will tell my staff to take good care of you ,so that you didn't face any problem further .
Saying so she went out ,leaving a disappointed Raman behind ,though both of them wanted to talk much but non had proper reason and matter to talk about ,more than that both were unknown of the others feeling and also they have their own boundations .
