Chapter 8
Preet thought about his meeting with Ms. Meher Maan. It was an interesting meeting. Preet off course felt stunned when he saw Meher face to face in his office. Her natural beauty, confident nature impressed him very much.
He also liked the way she responded to his questions. He was nervous when he was asking her about her engagement status.
Preet did not know what he would do if he heard that Meher was engaged with another man.
He also knew he had to move faster as he wanted to initiate a romantic relationship with Heer sooner. He planned that dual date to know Meher more closely.
Before meeting with Meher, Preet was not interested in having a romantic relationship but now he was feeling desperate to have one.
One person changes his mind set about romance overnight. Preet felt a heavier pull towards her.
Preet could also sense that, Meher was also feeling something for him.
He could see that in her eyes, he could see that in her smile, he could see that when she was talking with him.
Preet felt that, somehow they were made for each other. Their fates were intertwined with each other. He also knew that Meher would understand the value of family.
Preet could see that, how much Meher loved her sister. According to Preet it was another plus as Preet himself had great bond with his brother.
Preet could also see potentials of a relationship between his brother and Meher's elder sister Heer. He could see how they were attracted to each other.
Nevertheless, Preet knew that, his brother was little shy in regards of romance. Therefore, Preet decided to motivate his brother in romance, besides that, he thought that it would be super cool if two brothers could make a romantic relationship with two sisters.
In another part of Hyderabad
"Kya baat hein didi aab bahut kush lag rahi hein. Hogi kyun nahi paheli baar aapni prince cum boss se ekele mein meli, to bataye did Premji se milke kya samjhi, kya unka dil mein bhi aap ke liye kutch hein. " Meher asked her sister.
"Meher tu bhI na bahut zyda dramatic hogayi. Wo abhi tak meri boss hein aur kutch nahi. Ha ye baat sacch hein ki unse milne ke baad mujhe bhi lagi meri feelings ek tarfa nahi hein, unki man mein bhi kutch hein." Heer told Meher. She blushed slightly when she was telling that to her sister.
"Haye didi, itni bhi nahi sharmaiye, abhi tak to bahut kutch baaki hein.Lagti hein mujhe bahut jald Premji ko Prem jiju bolke pukarna padegi. " Meher teased Heer.
When Heer heard the word Jiju from Meher's mouth, she blushed more. However, Heer did not want to be teased alone. Therefore, she decided to tease Meher about Preet.
"Mujhe to tu bahut zyda tease kar rahi hai. Lekin tu ye maat samaj ki ye sab karne ke baad mein bhul jaoongi tu kis tarah Preet Juneja ki kheyal mein khoi raheti hein. Teri shakal dekke mein ye bata sakti hu ki tujhe koi green signal mili hein aapni raj kumar se."Heer teased Meher.
" Didi mein aisa kutch nahi kar rahi hu. Ha manti hu ki aaj Preet ji se milne ke baad mujhe green signal mili hein. Lekin mein soach rahati kaal ke business meeting ki bare mein jo ek coffe shop mein hogi." Meher told Heer.
" Ha Meher, jab mein ye baat shuni to mujhe bhi thoda ajeeb lagi.Juneja brothers ki compny mana ki unki dadaji ki company jaise bahut bada nahi hein par iss company to famous hein tu mujhe lagi koi badi hotel mein ye business meeting hogi." Heer told Meher.
" Didi baat to aapne sahi pakre hein, par mujhe lagti hein dono bhai bahut zyda show off karne mein yakeem nahi rakte, is liye uha par meeting fix kya." Meher told Heer.
" Jo bhi kaal hammare kam ke liye bahut important hein, hume meeting ke liye tyaar rehana padegi, ye do file hein jo hum dono ko office se diyi hein, isse acchi tadike se parke, hume ek model banani padegi kal ki business meeting ke liye." Heer gave the files to Meher after saying that.
" Didi pata nahi kyun mujhe lagti hein kaal hum sirf ek business meeting attend nahi karengi, kutch aur bhi hogi." Meher remarked.
In opposite part of Hyderabad.
Prem Juneja was busy in thinking about Heer Maan's beautiful face, smile, eyes, etc when Preet started to talk with him.
"Aapne khwab ki dunya se bahar nikaliye bhaiya, aur mera baat suniye." Preet teased Prem.
"Kya baat hein? Prem asked Preet in slightly irritated tone.
"Bhaiya aap to janti hein kaal hamara coffee shop mein business meeting hein." Preet told Prem.
" Ha Preet mein janti hu, lekin mujhe thoda ajeeb laga jab meine sunha tu coffee shop mein meeting fix ki hein, mujhe coffee shop mein business meeting karne mein koi naraji nahi. Lekin mujhe lagta hein uha pen meeting fix karne ke piche tera koi dosra motive hein." Prem remarked.
" Sahi pakde hein apne bhai, business meeting to ek bahana hein, uss coffe shop ko chunne ki asli maksad to joint date mein jana hein Maan sisters ki saat." Preet smiled after saying that.
" Ek minute, kyunki wo dono hamare PS hein to isliye hamare saat business meeting mein ayenge. aur undono ko ek coffeshop mein zyda comfort feel karegi.Iss ke wajashe hum dono undono se waqt bitana ka mauka mil jayega. Hum dono ko undono ko thoda aur acche tarike se janne payenge. Lekin tujhe nahi lagta hum kutch zyda hi fast horahi hein?" Prem asked his brother.
Preet was expecting that kind of question as he knew his brother was little cautious in the matter of romance.
"Bhaiya aap bhi na badi cautious ho jate hein iss romance ke mamlo mein, aur mein to paheli se fast hu, Hyderabad express mera doosra naam hein, bhaiya aap aur hum dono jante hein ki hamre zindegi mein saache payyar kabhi nahi aye. Hum e lagta hein zindegi hume Maan sister ke roop mein ek sunhara mauka diya hein payyar ko panne ke liye. Bhaiya aap bhi jante hein mujhe devdas banne ki koi shoukh nahi hein. Iss liye mein jald se jald baat ko aage barana chahati hu aur issi liye meine ye coffeshop mein meeting fix kya hein.
Prem realized that, there were logics behind Preet's plan. Prem never felt so strongly for a woman like he was feeling for Heer. She invaded in his dream, in his thought. He would never able to forgive himself if he lost Heer to another man due to his inaction.
"Sahi keha raha hein tu mera bhai. Hume sacche payyar pane ke ye mauka nahi gawana chahiye.
Evening of the next day
Preet was briefing Meher about next week's working plan and how she should arranged his timetable when he got the phone from his elder brother.
"Preet jaldimera office mein aa, jaruri baat karni hein" Prem told Preet over the phone.
"Ji, bhaiya, mein aa raha hu, bas do minute." Preet replied to Prem and ended the phone call.
" Meher dekhiye aap Heer ji ki office mein ja sakti hein. Mujhe thoda bhaiya ki office mein jake kutch jaruri baat discuss karna hoga." Preet told Meher.
"Ji, sir." Meher replied and went to her sister's office, which was adjacent to Prem's office room.
Preet on the other hand, went quickly to Prem's office.
"Bhaiya apne mujhe itna urgent li kyun bulaya? " Preet asked his brother.
"Dekh coffeeshop mein jane se pahele hamara plan phir se ek baar discuss karne ke liye." Prem replied to Preet.
"Thick hein bhai, aap jante hein jo businesses representative aayega wo 5 baje ayega aur sirf panch minute rahega." Preet told his brother.
"Ha lekin hum log 4:30 coffee shop mein pauch jayenge. Iss ki wajah se hume 30 minute tume mil jayega un dono ko janne ke liye." Prem remembered the plan.
"Ha bhaiya, uss 30 minute ko hume bahut soach samjkar baat aage barana chahiye, un dono ko ye nahi lagmi chahiye ki humlogo ka coffeeshop mein aane ki main wahah oah log hein. Hum aise pretend karenge ki business representative ko 4:30 mein ana chayiye tha lekin wo late kar rahi hein. Iss liye hum waqt bitna ke liye unke saat baat kar rahi hein. " Preet told Prem.
In adjacent room (Heer's office)
Meher and Heer were watching Prem's office room, which was adjacent to Heer's office room. Both rooms were separated by glass. Therefore, they could see what was happening in the room but could not hear anything.
"Didi aap ko kuch pata hein dono bhai kis topic ko lekar baat kar rahi hein?" Meher asked her sister.
"Nahi Meher, par mujhe lagta hein dono bhai koi important business deal ko lekar baat kar raha hein. " Heer commented.
" Ha didi mujhe lagti hein Preet ji, Prem ji ko wos deal ki ups and downs ke bare mein bata rahe hein." Meher commented.
"Prem ji bahut serious hoke baat shun rahe hein, shayed bahut bara business deal hoga. Mein Prem ji ko itna serious pure din mein nahi dekha." Heer commented.
" Wah didi lagti hein aap puri tarike se Prem dewani ban choki hein. Lagti hein sari din bahut shiddat se meri honewala jiju ka face expressions study kiya." Meher teased Heer.
" Tu na bahut balti hein. Mein unka PS hu iss liye mujhe wo kya bol raha hein iss baat pe acchI tadike se concentrate karni parti hein. Lekin lagti hein dono bhai mein business ki kutch terms and conditions ko lekar disagreement hein." Heer commented.
"Shayed un dono ka disagreement kitna lakh rupee naye project mein invest karna hein iss liye hein. Investment ki mamle mein Preet ji thoda liberal hein aapne bade bhai se." Meher commented.
In Prem's office
" Bhaiya mujhe lagta hein aapko coffee ke saat saat chaiye bhi order karna chahiye. Kya pata Heer ji ko coffee nahi chaiye pasand hein." Preet suggested.
" Mujhe to nahi lagta hein Preet, kyunki meine dekha aaj Heer sare din sirf teen cup coffee piyi hein. " Prem told Preet.
" Wah wah bhaiya lagta hein Heer ji ko mujhe bahut jaldi Heer bhabi bolke pukar na padega, sara din sirf unkI harkato ko dekha kiya." Preet teased Prem.
" Dekh Preet mujhe tease karna band kar, aur topic pe baat kar." Prem told Preet in slightly angry tone.
" Bhaiya aab bade bhai ki patni ko to bhabi kehete hein. Ok, gussa maat kijye. Aapne kaha unhone sirf coffee pi, lekin shayed unhohone aisa kiya kyunki hamare iss main office floor mein sirf coffee machine hein aur chaye pine ke liye unko ek floor niche namne padegi shayed iss liye unhone sirf coffee pi. " Preet commented.
" Shayed tu thik kahe raha Preet, mein unse uha jake poonch loonga unhe kiya jyda pasand hein Chaye ya coffee.
Lekin Preet mujhe lagta hein ek baat ko laekar tu bhi galat hein." Prem commented.
" Kaun si baat?" Preet asked his brother in a surprised tone.
" Wo baat hein ki mujhe lagta hein Meher ji ko butter pasand hein iss liye burger mein butter hona chahiye." Prem commented.
"Bhaiya ye aap kaise keh sakti hein? " Preet asked Prem.
" Apna dimag laga Preet, Meher ji thoda healthy shape mein hein, iss liye mujhe lagta hein unhe butter pasand hein." Prem commented.
" Bhaiya aap iss tarah generalized nahi kar sakte hein. Meher fat nahi hein, wo bass baki ladki tarah skinny nahi hein. Mujhe lagta hein unka body shape perfect hein wo fat nahi hein." Preet protested.
" Wah wah dekhoto mera payyare chote bhai ko abhi se apne honewala biwi ko defend kar raha hein. Tu to mujhe din raat tease karta rehata hein Heer ji ko lekar. Lekin mera bhai lagta hein tuMeher Maan ka pura tadike se dewana ho choke hein.
Paheli baat maine kabhi nahi kaha Meher ji fat hein, mein kaha thosa healthy hein, wo skinny nahi hein. Skinny na hona aur fat hona do alag baad hein. Dusri baat butter khana koi buri baat nahi hein agar tu isse limit mein khay to. Mein bhi kabhi kabhi butter kha leta hu, subha, uska taste bahut acche hein. " Prem commented.
Preet blushed little when he realized his brother manipulate him to defend Meher in front of him so that he mightbe able to tease him about it.
" Bhaiya aap bhi naa kutch bhi bolte hein. Lekin aap ki ye baat se mein sahemat hu kabhi kabhi butter kha liya ja sakta hein. Aak se mein bhi mahine mein char-panch baar thoda butter chakh loonga." Preet commented.
In Heer's office
" Didi lagta hein dono bhai compromise aa chuke hein unke project ko lekar." Meher commented after she saw Prem and Preeet were smiling together over the glass.
" Ha shukur hein. Lagti hein wo project bahut hi complicated thi, unka discussion ek waqt bahut hi serious aur tensed ho gaya tha." Heer commented.
" Heer aap Meher ji ko leke mera room mein aa sakti hein."Prem told Heer over the phone.
When Heer and Meher entered into the room, they saw Prem and Preet were waiting for them.
"Sir lagta hein aap dono ne bahut hi serious aur complicated business project discuss kar rahe the." Meher commented.
"Ha aap ke sakti hein hum ek bahut hi complicated project lekar baat kar rahe the. Iss project hum dono ka zindegi ka sabse important project hein, iss mein kamiyab hona hamare liye bahut jaruri hein." Preet commented.
" Bhagwan kare aap logo ka ye project successful ho, mein aur Meher puri madat karenge iss project ko success banane ke liye." Heer told Prem.
"Ye project bahut hi sensative hein, halke se bhi bhool bhi project ko distrub kar sakte hein. Iss liye hum sab ko saat milke ye project kaam karna padega. Aap dono behano ka support aur koshish iss project ke liye bahut jaruri hein." Prem told Maan sisters.
After hearing that both sisters nodded their head in support while Prem, Preet were happy by seeing that.
Both Juneja brothrs were very much excited for the date. They were hoping for an interesting evening while Maan sisters were expecting to see some boring business discussion.
