Raman was crying holding her hand feeling guilty again for his bad behaviour when she said -raman, in her deep sleep also.
Raman raised his head hearing her name while she tighten her hold on his hand saying, nahi, nahi, mujhe nahi jaana kahin, mujhe mat bhejo. Mujhe appa se dur mat karo, appa, amma, nahi mat bhejo, amma appa ko chod kar nahi jaana, Aap log mat jalao mere appa amma ko, nahi mat Karo. She was murmuring in her deep sleep while she was holding his hand tight poking her nails in his skin. Raman realised she is having nightmare. He settled beside her in the little space and said caressing her hair -nobody is sending u anywhere bachcha,kuch nahi hai, kuch bhi nahi. He was saying and caressing her hair softly while she snuggle into him seeking his warmth. Slowly she left his hand and slept again while he bend and kissed her temple softly.
Raman -maine tumhare saath bahut galat kiya, par ab aur galat naa karunga, aur naa hi kisi ko karne dunga. Main tumhara saath kabhi nahi chodunga, kabhi bhi nahi. He said caressing her hair while she was go on snuggling more into him in her sleep only.
Soon she was deep in sleep still holding Raman's hand tight. Raman was busy in looking at her changing expression in her sleep when nurse came. Raman get off the bed and make space for nurse. She gave two injection to ishita and gave a list of medicine and injection to be brought as they have to be given to her in next thirty minutes.
Raman took the list and was going when ishita hold his hand tightly. He thought to send any compounder to bring the medicine but no-one was there. He waited for sometime and then thought -i should go and bring these medicines or else she will be back. Ishita abhi so rahi hai, I will just go and come back. He thought and went out releasing his hand slowly out of her grip.
Few minutes later, Ishita opened her eyes and saw herself on the hospital bed while many machines were attached to her. She got up in a jiffy and start looking for raman but he was nowhere. She remembered the last time when she was in hospital all alone. She got scared and get off the bed removing all the wires.
She looked around and said -raman phir mujhe chod kar chale gaye, kyun unhone toh promise kiya tha ki mujhe kabhi nahi chodenge.raman raman, she cried looking around only to see him nowhere.
She was crying but stopped and thought -ho sakta hai raman ko bhookh lagi ho.he must be went home, main bhi ghar chalo jaati hoon. She thought and went out of the room.
After sometime, Raman came bringing her medicine and got shocked not seeing her in the room. he looked around calling her name but she was nowhere. He got angry over the carelessness of the hospital staff. He shouted on top of his voice for nurse and compounders.
Two three staff came running and one of them asked -what happened sir.
Raman -yeh kaisa hospital hai, tumhare doctor baatein toh bahut badi badi karte hai, but u guys r incapable of taking care of the patients.
Nurse-kya hua sir, why u r shouting??
Raman -why I am shouting, arey meri biwi thi yahan admit. I went to take medicine and now she is nowhere. Kahan gayi woh, kisi ne usse roka kyun nahi, how u all can be so careless, agar usse kuch hua naa, I am telling u, I will not spare anyone. Pata nahi kahan chali gayi hogi, abhi yahin thi, he was saying in anger and tension when the nurse said -she is in doctor's cabin.
Raman -kya, woh doctor ke paas, but why. Woh thik hai naa??
Nurse-yes, she is fine. She was going out to look for u, doctor sahab ne dekh liya and took her with himself. U should know the facts before shouting. Yeh hospital hai, yahan log apne relatives chod kar chale jaate hai, hum kisi ko nahi chodte and why u r so worried for her, u too last time left her here. We have to drop her back at ur place. She said making Raman guilty.
He look down and said -i am sorry, can I see her.
Nurse -yes, that way, to doctor's cabin,she is sitting there. She said and Raman went towards doctor's cabin. He saw ishita sitting with the doctor crying.
Doc-why r u crying??
Ishita -raman mujhe chod kar chale gaye. Unhone promise kiya tha that he will never leave me alone, phir bhi chale gaye.
Doc-oh thats bad,raman is really bad, how can he leave u like this. Jab woh aayega, hum usse punish karenge fod leaving u, OK.
Ishita look at the doctor and said wiping her tears-not OK, of course not OK. Woh mera raman hai, mujhe chod kar gaye hai then why u will punish him. Sirf main apne raman ko punish kar sakti hoon, aur koi nahi. Samjhe Aap. Gande Kahin ke, bade aaye mere Raman ko punish karne wale. U don't know, he is very good, woh mujhe bahut pyaar karte hai. He just wrap me in his arms and cuddle me in himself. Itna pyaar karte hai woh mujhe. She said smiling remembering her moments with raman while Raman smiled hearing her words. The way she never fail to praise him always amaze him.
Doc -achcha, if he is so good then why he left u alone, I think he is not good enough.
Ishita -no, he is good, he must be having some work, that's why he left me alone.but I know very soon he will be back. She said thinking for sometime.
Doc-if u know the reason then why u r crying. If u have so much on ur ramab then why u r crying.
Ishita -i am not crying, I just want to be with him. Mujhe raman ke bina achcha nahi lagta. I love him alot. She said innocently while her eyes got moist again.
Doc -ok OK don't cry, ur raman will be back soon. Till the time, can we talk. Can we become friends.
Ishita look at the doctor and nodded in no saying -i just want my raman. I want to go home, chachi ke paas, uncle ke paas, mere Raman ke paas. Please let me go.
Doc -aap akele ghar chale jaoge. U know the way.
Ishita nodded in no.
Doc-then how u will go, if I let u go and if ur raman come to ask for u, what I will answer. So won't it be better if u wait here for ur raman and go with him only. He said making ishita think. She think for a while and nodded in no.
Doctor and ishita was busy in talking when Raman knocked the door and said -can I come in?? He asked and both look to raman.
Ishita got happy seeing raman and went to him saying -mere Raman aa gaye. Saying so she went to raman and engulfed into his arms. She settled her head on his chest and said holding him tight-mere raman aa gaye. She said again smiling while he just wrapped her in his arms tight and said smiling -yes, I came but where were u. I was looking for u naa. He said caressing her hair softly.
Ishita -main toh yahin thi, Aap chale gaye the. Ab mujhe chod kar mat jaiyega.
Raman nodded and said -ok, will never go leaving u again. He said and pecked her temple. Then he look at the doctor and said -thank u doc, for taking care of her.
Doc-thats my job, waise let me tell u something.pata nahi Aap manage yaa nahi but u r really lucky to have someone like her. Iski duniya hi aap ho.bahut kam log itne khushnaseeb hote hai to have such pure soul to love. U r really lucky.
Raman look at her and said -u r right doc, I am lucky to have her. She is my only treasure. Can I take her home.
Doc-yes sure, but bring her here every Friday, inki treatment aaj hi se shuru ho gayi hai. Weekly sittings hogi to make her fine. OK.
Raman -i will do that, doc, thanks for everything.
Doc-pleasure is all mine. Injection laaye hai naa aap, let me give her. Then u can go.
Raman nodded and give injections and medicine to the doctor. He filled the syringe with medicine while ishita hide into Raman and said -injection nahi raman, nahi, dard karega.
Raman -nahi karega bachcha, bas chitti kategi.
Ishita -nahi ,karega.
Raman -trust me, it will not. Just hide in me. He said closing her eyes while she hide her face into his chest. Doctor did his work and signalled Raman to take her out. Raman took the medicine in his one hand and wrapped ishita with another hand and went out while she was sobbing silently hiding in him.
