I am updating after long. Thanks everyone for patience and lovely comments.I don't know this part will bore you or not. I typed as per wish of Kiran Di...Last time she asked not to use Puchki for Pihu...This is just for her. Even I also think its right.

Chapter 13

After Breakfast/ Lunch

Pihu still was busy with her Parantha sitting over sofa, ignorant to the convo between two, standing beside her.

" Jokes apart Addi, I think we should leave now its already 1." he wispered.

Addi nodded slipping one hand to side pocket " Even me, that cynic fixed meeting for 3:30 PM, got confirmation call from him."

Smile crept over Maan's lips, as gazed the little girl side wise. Something was going inside his mind.

Addi shrunk his brows, he knew his friend was up to something. Probably some good one, as he was smiling. But prayed God not to make him, his scrap goat to fulfil those strange tasks.

" Abhi kis soch main ho tum ?" he tapped Maan on shoulder.

Maan came out of his trance " I am taking her first time outside, as Maan Singh Khuraana's daughter. Just look at her, she is as innocent as her mother. So what identity I should give her ? Puchki, yes this is mine chosen name...a feeling of a father, craving to love his child from ages...But its like the name, old lady gave her Laado,might be she also loved my daughter with same intensity...or Pihu Maan Singh Khuraana, which is her true identity, and I want to break every tie of her from past, erase each bit of memory, reminding me of anyone related to her painful childhood." Addi's mind boggled with his mysterious answer. But after 6 years of bonding, he could understand, his state of mind.

" Certainly you have decided, then speak up." he tittered in trademark style.

" Yes " his eyes shined bright, reflecting sheer determination.

" I don't want to give her split personality, n will not call her Puchki any more. She will be only Pihu from now onwards, for you and me too..As a father I will fill her life with all my love n care, but for the world, I will mould her as MSK's daughter." he ruffled Pihu's hair. She looked up at two happy faces. Passed same innocent smile.

She climbed up on sofa, stood next to het father. So that he could pick her up in his arms.

" So my baby has done with her breakfast." he kissed her cheek. In counter reaction. She encircled her arms around his neck , resting head over his shoulder.

Addi petted her back " So you also want to walk on Daddi's foot prints. as she made you puppet."

Maan smirked, hugging his daughter much closer " No never, how could I ? What ever happened with Geet n me... Daddi was able to tackle things wisely...If I had told her.. But due to her fear, I couldn't do that, n we became victim of circumstances. More than me it was Geet. Even she asked Mammu to put covers on everything, keeping me in dark. " he was burning with inner agony but couldn't express..didn't want to scare little girl. But for Addi, it was not tough to feel his grief.

" I am sorry Maan, I didn't mean to hurt you. " he rested his hand over Maan's shoulder, to console him.

" No Addi , you put valid question. I want to mould her like me, strong enough to judge rights and wrongs, capable to take own stands, not feeble and helpless as I was.But like as I am...It will be her decision, what she wants to be in her future. I will never force her in family business, but will remain always on her side." after the clarification a sudden smile crept on his face "She is mine daughter, toh isko mere jaisa attitude jaroor sikhna hoga. Yeh to banta hai na boss. I can take this much liberty haa " he winked, both friends giggled.

" There is no need taught her, she has inherited. Not to embrace you, but it is in her genes from generations." stuttering Addi said looking side wise. Making a little gap from where they were standing.
