Hello friends back with new update .
Part 3
Preparations in bhalla house started getting fasten as only few days are left for the engagement and roka function of romi and simmi . Raman told romi and simmi to help toshiji in preparations and shoppings whole he will take care of whole business and meetings alone . As romi was not coming now a days to office Raman's work has increased ,he now go office early and come late . On the other hand iyers too started preparations of ishita's engagement ,though her mother was not happy but as her father wanted to do best for ishita ,her mother was also equally involved in the preparation while mihika was making an evil plan to win romi .
Today was the engagement ,all reached to the hotel where the engagement was about to happen . Soon the function started ,at first simmi roka happened, she was clad in a dark mehroon heavy lahenga .She settled in the big chair while her would be mother in law , started the ritual of roka by giving cloths ,jewelry ,dry fruits and many more gifts which are given in roka function . After that ishita was brought ,as she was tamilian and the marriage was happening as per Tamil rituals ,ishita was wearing a indigo color kanjiwaram saree with dark pink color border ,with matching gold jewelries ,she has done simple makeup and her long hairs were tied in a beautiful bun which was nicely decorated with flower strings . She was looking too beautiful in her attire that all eyes just stopped at her ,even Raman's. Toshiji covered her head with heavy red dupatta and gave all the things they brought for her completing the ritual.
Then panditji instructed the couple to exchange the rings . At first Anurag and simmi exchanged the rings then romi and ishita ,both the pairs took blessings from elders , they took blessings from their parents and then went to take blessings from Raman too ,he didn't let them touch his feet rather hugged and blessed them . Then both the couples stood in the stage while guests come tl congratulate the couples .Raman was standing in corner ,though he himself had denied for his marriage every time but today he was feelings goosebumps witnessing the roka and engagement .
He was happy for his siblings but at the same time he was feeling an unknown emptiness inside him .He was not able to understand his own feelings even he was not sure that why he is feeling like that ,finally to over come his weird feelings he went to have some drinks .
The party was on full swing,Raman was busy with his clients and guests while simmi ,romi their would be partners and their cousins were busy in dancing . All were dancing when romi received a call, he picked the call but couldn't listen anything due to noise . He went out of the hall and went in the balcony ,he tried to talk to the person but to his surprise nobody talked to him rather disconnected the call . He got furious and was going back to the hall when he saw mihika standing there .Romi went to her and asked " you are ishita's sister na ".
M- humm ,mihika .
Ro- hi Mihika ,why are you standing here alone ,come let's go inside and enjoy .
M- no you go ,I m good .
Romi saw her thoroughly and asked " are you crying ".
M- no ,nothing like that ,you go and enjoy . don't spoil your happiness for me .
She spoke faking sadness ,he become Lil worried and spoke " arey aise kaise ,you are my would be sister in law ,if you have some problem please share it with me ,may be I can help you ".
M- whose enemy is her own sister non can help her .
Ro- what are you saying ,I didn't get you.
M- I told you na ,don't involve yourself in this ,go and enjoy with that ishita .
Ro- tell clearly what are you talking about .
M(faking crying )- I and ishita both ate step sisters but my father loves her more ,he does everything as per her wish ,never thought about me . About six months ago we ,me and ishita both went to a function where we saw you and as you are handsome and dashing , both of us like you but mostly I . I almost got mad about you ,collected most of your pics ,articles ,achievement everything . ishita knew all this well but she didn't spare a thought before saying yes for marrying you . She very well know ,how much I love you , not only love but I can even die for you . besides knowing all this she agreed for the marriage just to get me envious . I swear I had spend most of the time in thinking about you but she ruined my life ,don't know what I m going to do after your marriage .aise jeene de achcha hai main mar jaaoon .
Romi was shocked listening to the shocking truth of ishita .He thought that till now he and all his family was thinking that ishita is a very nice and perfect girl but knowing this he got angry and spoke angrily " you come with me ,I will ask about this to ishita in front of everybody ".
M- no no please don't do that ,I don't want to ruin my sisters happiness ,its just I m not able to think ,how I m going to live without you. I think I will be better if I die , so that I won't have to witness you ,going away from me and becoming someone's else .
Saying so she went out of the hall and started running towards the terrace , romi too followed her . As they were almost out from the hall ,non noticed them . Soon mihika reached the terrace, she turned behind to look for romi but he was not visible ,she waited for sometimes for him ,then started her drama when she saw him coming . Romi ran to her and pulled her to him ,she landed on his chest and started crying loudly,doing her drama . Romi too felt bad for her ,he was trying to console her but she was not listening to him ,finally she played her last card and spoke " I don't want to live without you and if you want me to save then make me yours ".
Romi was shocked listening to her while she was looking at him for the answer . He parted from her and spoke surprisingly" what are you saying mihika ,today only i got engaged with ishita and you are saying like this ".
M- then let me die and go to her.
Saying so she again was about to jump ,when romi stopped her and spoke " achcha let me talk to bhai ,we have a huge name and if I.."
M- then you keep thinking about society and let me die .
Saying so she again tried but he stopped her and spoke " mihika don't do that ".
M- then what should I do ,my sister is marrying my love and my love is not ready to accept me .please accept me ,I m ready to do anything for you .
Saying so she slides her blouse from her shoulder ,inviting him to her . Though romi was denying again and again as the marriage was fixed by elders but he too was liking mihika and finally he loosed himself . He corrected mihika's dress and spoke " ok I will marry you but before that I want to know more about you ".
M- I m all yours ,know me as much as you want .
Saying so she hugged him tight and smirked while romi too hugged her but was still in dilemma . After that they joined the party back . Soon the party ended and all went back to their house .
All retired to their room , Raman too went to his room,he so wanted to rest but couldn't as tomorrow he has an important meeting with foreign clients and he has to prepare for it .
Thinking so he settled in the couch and opened his laptop . He opened his laptop and started working ,but to his surprise he saw Ishita's face on his screen ,he turned to see if she is there but she was not there . He rubbed his eyes and tried to work again but again Ishita's beautiful face was coming in front of his eyes . He closed his eyes tightly and chided himself " chee Raman how can you even think of her face , ishita is going to be your sister in law , you shouldn't think about her ".
He nodded his head and again tried to work but again recalled Ishita's face only finally he closed his lappy and went to sleep . He lays on his bed and tried to sleep but unwontedly his mind went to memory lane ,about 10 years back .
Flashback
Raman was establishing himself in business world and was getting successful in all his contract . He was awarded as the buddying entrepreneur
of the year . Today was the function in which he was going to recieve the award . Bhalla's were too proud of their first kid and all went happily to attend the function . Raman got the award and in the same function ,Mr mehta , who was Asia business head at that time , talked to Raman's parent for Raman's marriage with his daughter . As Mr bhalla knew him well ,they agreed for the alliance . Soon everything was fixed ,Raman and the girl met even the engagement was done but before the marriage ,bhalla's business occurred a huge loss because of this all the investors pulled their capital from the company and the Mr bhalla has to take huge loan from the market ,he got it but now he was not getting any contract as their name was ruined .Between all the Mr bhalla suffered a heart attack and doctor has suggested operation to keep him alive . His operation was about to happen but before that Mr mehta called him and canceled Raman's marriage due to their diminishing business and name in market . it comes as a huge blow which resulted in another heart attack of Mr bhalla which became the reason for his death . After that Raman took all the responsibilities of his siblings and business .It take much of his effort and time to come in the position in which bhallas are now . They are well know family in north India and business world ,everyone feels lucky to get associated with Bhalla's .
Flashback ends .
Raman felt good thinking that now they are in good position ,he and romi are doing well in the business that now they are huge . Lost in his thoughts finally he drifted to sleep .
Days started passing like this ,the marriage preparations were in fully swing ,simmi and toshiji were busy on their shopping ,Raman was still taking care of all the business while Romi was busy with mihika . Mihika has done all the tricks to trap romi ,now he was like puppet in her hand .
One day Raman was returning back from office ,it was late in night ,about 10.30 . He was driving his car when he felt that ishita was standing in the footpath . He stopped the car to confirm that its ishita only ,he noticed that it was her only . He went near her ,stooped the car and asked sliding the mirror down " arey ishita you here ,at this time ".
I- oh Mr Raman ,glad you are here .can you please give me lift for today .
R- why not come in .
Ishita settled in his car and he drive towards her house ,he asked " you are so late today ".
I- yeah ,actually I went to a friends birthday party but at the time of returning ,I didn't got any conveyance.
R- that's bad ,you should have called Romi .
I- actually I hadn't talked to him much ,that's why I feel awkward to ask help from him .
R- that's strange you are feeling awkward to ask help from your would be husband .
I- yeah we are still stranger .
R- koi nahi ,marriage is just going to happen in just few days ,after that you will have much time to know each other .
I- humm .
Soon they reached to her house ,ishita thanked him and went bidding adieu to him .
