Author's note -i wasn't about to updt this but manu asked it updt as her birthday gift, so here I am with its updt, enjoy.
PART 14
Ishita was enjoying the shower jumping and dancing saying, baarish baarish,while raman was standing in a corner admiring her carefree attitude.
Raman -its good to be a kid, Aap kitne carefree hote hai aur har condition mein enjoy kar paate hai. Ek baar joh koi keh de uss par sach samajh kar vishwas kar lete hai. Kaash meri zindagi bhi Itni hi easy ho, Jahan kisi par bhi bas yun hi bharosha kar sakte. Jahan har samay muskurate reh sakte. He was thinking looking at ishita when she saw him and said -raman, Aap kyun wahan khade hai, aaiye bahut maza aa raha hai.
Raman -nahi, I am OK. U enjoy.
Ishita -aaiye naa,sach bahut maza aa raha hai. She said shaking her head.
Raman -nahi,i am good. He was saying when ishita pulled him to herself. He fall on her disbalancing her, she was about to fall when Raman hold her tight holding the tap with another hand. Both start drenching together under the shower. He was looking at her while she was also looking at him with innocent eyes.
Ishita smiled and said -sorry, main gir rahi thi. She was saying when he tucked her hair behind her ear and pecked her temple while she closed her eyes feeling his touch. He cupped her face and softly kisses her hair again. She was lost in his touch while he bend and pecked her closed eyes. Then her nose, then cheek and was finally going to kiss her lips but stopped realising that he is going overboard.
Raman -no raman, u can't do that, she is just a kid to understand ur desire and live up to it. Waise bhi she recently went through molestation, I shouldnt make her uncomfortable. He thought and said -I am going to change, tum bhi change kar lo. Then we will go together to have breakfast. Saying so he was going when she said -mujhe kapde pehnna nahi aata. How will I wear that long long cloth. She said innocently making Raman smile.
Raman -wait ,Main tumhare liye arrangement karta hoon. He said and went out.he picked the landline and the intercom in the hall ringed. One of the help picked the phone and raman told laajo and few other helps to come and help ishita.
After sometime, laajo came with others and took ishita to her room while Raman went to freshen up and change.
After half an hour, Raman got ready wearing a grey shirt with formals and went to her room to check her and saw her arguing with laajo.
Ishita -chachi, aapne kaha tha ki yeh laal wala pati se lagwana hota hai, toh Aap kyun lagaa rahi hai. Raman lagayenge.
Laajo-nahi ishita, sahab roz nahi lagayenge,aap khud lagaa lo,yaa mujhe lagane do. She said trying to take the sindoor box but ishita hide it and said -nahi, Raman hi lagayenge.she was saying when she saw Raman standing on the door. She went to raman and said -raman, Aap lagayenge naa.
Laajo-sahab woh, she was saying when Raman told them to go. All went downstairs and raman looked at her, she was wearing a simple yellow saree while her long hair was open falling down her waist. She was holding sindoor box and mangalsutra in her hand. Raman took a pinch of sindoor and filled her partition and made her wear mangalsutra.
Raman -now it's OK.
Ishita nodded smiling and kept the box back.
Raman -ab neeche chale mujhe bahut bhookh lag rahi hai.
Ishita nodded and both went downstairs hand in hand. All got happy seeing them together and Ishra sat side by side.
Raman -breakfast mein kya hai.
Laajo-sir breakfast?? It's lunch time. She said meekly.
Raman look at the clock and realised its 12.30 in afternoon.
Raman -omg we r very late. OK toh lunch serve kar dijiye.
Laajo-bas ban gaya hai, we will serve it in a minute. Saying so she was going when ishita said -aap logon ne bhi breakfast nahi kiya. She said making laajo and raman look at her.
Ishita -aapka petu gud gud kar raha hai chachi. She said smiling making laajo embarrassed.
Laajo-woh beta, mujhe gas problem hai naa.
Ishita -toh aapko kha lena chahiye tha, naa raman.
Laajo-how can we eat before sahab, beta.
Ishita -par yeh toh wrong hai, hum toh so rahe the, Aap toh jagi thi. U should have ate. Waise bhi sabko ek jaisi bhookh lagti hai, chahe raman ho yaa chachi. Naa raman. She said innocently fluttering her eye lashes. Raman heard this and realised that it's really wrong that none ate just because of him.
Raman -haan, she is right. Aap sab ko kha lena chahiye. Aap log please kuch kha liya kijiye. U all shouldn't starve for me.
Ishita -haan, aur waise bhi main toh hoon main mere Raman ke saath khane ke liye, naa raman.
Raman smiled and said -yes, now I have someone who will always wait for me. Hume serve karke aap sab bhi kha lijiye. He said to which all help nodded and went after serving food to ishra.
Ishita took a morsel and said -ab aapko main khilaungi. Par sirf aaj, kal se u have to feed me. Main thak jaati hoon kaam karke, ok.
Raman -ok, from tomorrow I will feed u, waise bhi my wound is better. If u want I can feed u today also.
Ishita-no need, I will do it. She said and start feeding him and eating too.
Ishita -hmm, yummy yummy. Kitna yum bana hai naa.
Raman nodded and both were eating together while helps were eating and talking -sahab kitna badal gaye hai naa, he has started thinking about us too.
Help2-haan, it's all because of ishita. I really wish ki ishita madam jaldi se thik ho jaaye aur yeh dono hamesha khush rahe.
Help3-haan ishita madam is very good and cute too. Unhone bahut dukh dekhe hai iss ghar mein. Ab bas unhe khushiyan milni chahiye. They were eating and talking while ishra finished their lunch and got up.
Ishita -petu bhara. She asked innocently.
Raman -haan, pet bhi bhara aur Mann bhi. U really made me feel contended. Thank u so much. He said and ishita smiled.
Ishita -ab main jaa kar chachi aur sabke saath khelun. Yeh mera khelne ka time hai. She asked innocently.
Raman -ok go but baahar mat jaana.
Ishita -main Kahin baahar nahi jaati, Main toh kitchen mein khelti hoon ghar ghar.
Raman -ok, go and play. Par apna khayal rakhna.
She got happily and went while he went upstairs to do his work.
Ishita went to chachi and she started teaching her kitchen works like they do always.ishita was busy in playing there doing petty works when Raman called and asked for a coffee.
Help made coffee and went to give him but came and said -raman sir ko bahut tez fever hai. Woh sar pakad kar baithe hai, his wound is also swollen. He said and all got worried while ishita got scared.
All went to him and called the doctor. He checked raman and gave him injection telling him to rest.
Doc-yeh sab jyada nahane se hua hai. Don't worry, I have given injection, Aap rest kariye thik ho jayega. But try not to work with this hand.
Raman nodded and doctor went out.one by one everyone went out leaving Ishra alone. Raman was on bed while ishita was standing in the corner remembering the happenings of the day when her appa died. That day also the whole house was in hustle bustle. Doctors were running and he was taken to hospital, all were consoling her saying he will be fine but lastly he was declared dead.
Ishita remembered that day and was getting scared and restless. Scared of loosing raman, the only one she has.
Few minutes passed like this, Raman was laying on the bed closing his eyes while ishita was looking at him thourougly trying to observe his movement but when she didn't saw him moving for long she finally went to him and lay down beside him. She kept her head on his chest making him open his eyes feeling wetness on his chest.
Raman -arey, u r here only. Tum toh chachi ke saath neeche jaa rahi thi naa, gayi nahi and why r u crying bachcha. He said making ishita sigh in relief while she hugged him tight.
Raman caressed her hair softly feeling her restlessness and said -what happened.
Ishita -mujhe lagaa aap mar gaye.
Raman -kya, nahi toh. I was just resting. My wound was paining naa.but tumhe kyun lagaa aisa.
Ishita -ek baar appa aise lete the, sab bole abhi thik ho jayenge par woh Mar gaye, phir kabhi nahi uthe, kabhi bhi nahi. Aap please kabhi mat marna,warna mera kya hoga, Main akeli reh jaungi. She said and start crying bitterly hugging him tight.
Raman caressed her back lovingly feeling her pain and said -shh bachcha, rote nahi. I am all fine, see mujhe kuch nahi hua.
Ishita looked at him and said -aap please kabhi mat marna.i love u alot, sab mujhe chod kar chale jaate hai, appa bhi amma bhi, mama -mami bhi chale gaye, Aap please kabhi mat jaana. Main achchi bachchi ban kar rahungi. Aapki sab baat manungi. Kisi cheez ke liye kabhi zidd nahi karungi but please never leave me alone. Mera haath kabhi mat chodiyega.she said snuggling more into him.
Raman -kabhi nahi chodunga, I will always be with him. But kya hua tha tumhare appa ko.
Ishita -pata nahi, ek din appa khana khate khate gir gaye, phir sab daud kar aaye, appa ko hospital le gaye aur phir appa kabhi nahi uthe. Woh mar gaye,she said while tears were flowing continuously from her eyes.
Raman felt bad for her loss and said -aur amma, unhe kya hua.
Ishita hold raman tightly and said -amma, appa ko dekh kar gir gayi aur phir kabhi nahi uthi. Dono mar gaye, mujhe akela chod diya, apni ishu ko akele kar diya. She said and closed her eyes feeling restless remembering all that.
Raman caressed her hair softly giving her support when she said -main wahin khadi thi, appa ko jala diya, amma ko jala diya. Sab kuch khatam ho gaya, sab kuch jal gaya. She was saying like seeing all this infront of her eyes and then suddenly hugged Raman tight and said -mujhe nahi jaana, mujhe wahan nahi jaana. Mujhe bacha lo, mujhe bacha lo. Raman, mujhe nahi jaana wahan. She start screaming and crying while Raman hold her tight and said -kahan nahi jaana, kya hua, ishita, bachcha, what happened. Bolo kya hua, Kahan nahi jaana, ishita bolo. Kya hua. He was saying when she hold her head tight like she is having sheer pain and she screamed -raman ,and next moment she loose her senses. Raman hold her tight and said -ishita, ishita, he shaked her but didn't get any response and finally called helps for help.
